My wife's a vegan so I had a bunch of choices for her and loads of selections for me. They had sugar free, gluten free (still don't know what is gluten), and vegan options I will be going here on a regular basis now that I discovered it

They offer so many flavors but only had a few when I got there (make sure you come early) that just shows how good their stuff is. The gentleman offered samples of the OG banana pudding and the pistachio, and man were they yummy! I ended up getting Oreo, Choco peanut butter and pistachio. We seriously couldn't wait and started indulging, so we ate them in the car. Also, you can preorder and they will reserve your flavors, in case you don't see what you want. My top from what I got would be Oreo, it was packed with cookies. Rich and creamy. If you love cookies and cream, this one's for you! Bangerrrr. Pistachio, was delish. The nutty, creaminess did not disappoint. Choco and peanut butter, was good. Just a hint of peanut butter They offer: Cupcakes Pies Ice cream Pudding pops DONT MISS OUT ON HAPPY HOUR 4-6 Highly recommended!

I am not even a Vegan, not…read morethat there is anything wrong with that, but I just like to eat good food, which is certainly something you can find here when you visit. I visited several vendors for eat and to chat and learn about their trade. I certainly learned some and ate some good food like vegan adobada and a terrific vegan croissant. All the vendors were very nice happy to provide Vegan treats. Being held at a parking lot at Grossmont Mall, parking is plentiful and access is easy.

Whelp, I have a solution for that...plan your OWN Vegan Festival and it can be wherever you want it to be! Until then, this is the best thing to happen to the San Diego Vegan scene since...ever! and (2) the lines are too looooong. I get there when it opens and there are zero lines. So, there you have it: problems solved. Either drive to where it is or plan your own and if you don't, get there when it starts. I am gracious and thankful that people are VOLUNTEERING their time to put on this awesome vegan festival and coordinating with the mall and vendors. It's held the first Friday of each month. Follow @veganinsandiego for all the details. See you there!

Located in a pleasant sidewalk-lined row of shops, Aubrey Rose is a hidden gem of a quaint, distinctively feminine and vintage-style tea parlour that offers a charming and cozy British afternoon tea experience. As guests enter the venue, they can feel like they are stepping back in time, being transported by elegant, traditional and vintage English charm. The ornate space is romantic floral themed and antiques-filled with tea-related gifts and Victorian décor that fill up the shelves which create intimate table spaces set with delicate fine bone china. At Aubrey Rose, the cherished ritual of afternoon tea is elevated to an upscale affair. I like to opt for the Queen Victoria Tea which includes a Seasonal Soup Course with Accompanying Savoury, a three-tiered tray, organized by savoury and sweet (Bottom Tier: Assorted Finger Sandwiches and Savouries, Middle Tier: fresh Seasonal Fruit, and Top Tier: an assortment of Petite Treats and Sweets), Dessert Scone and accompaniments served as the last course, and Unlimited Premium Loose Leaf Tea. I highly recommend the chilled cantaloupe soup which is beautifully presented and deliciously refreshing. The house made tidbits and sweets are also delightful. Service is welcomely warm, friendly and attentive. The Aubrey Rose Tea Room experience heightens a simple pause for a beverage, blending comfort with a touch of elegance, into a moment to slow down and appreciate the finer things in life...with your pinky up.
