First time discovering this small bakery tucked away in a spacious plaza of Lemon Grove. The inside is able to seat around 14 people from the looks of it and there is additional shaded seating outside. Staff that I met was extremely friendly (Grayson, Jules, and Dom), as well as the owner of the bakery Tanya. This bakery has been operating for about three years and there was a good crowd on a Monday afternoon. All the pastries are vegan and I tried the vanilla concha (pro tip get it warmed up) with their house made maple butter and the carrot cake. Both were amazing, I've never had a vegan concha and don't think I'll be going back to regular ones! They also have breakfast sandwiches that many people ordered that looks like it's on a thick piece of focaccia. The reviews speak for itself! Since sitting here, almost everyone has been greeted by first name which attests to their passion and desire to make this place a very welcoming space. Their coffee is good. I get their Oreo cold brew drink which isnt on their menu anymore but they still make it. Again showing this place is an awesome spot. I come here to work on stuff, read, or chat with friends. The space is smaller but isnt usually packed. Places all around to plug into a wall and get electronics charged. Looking for a new coffee spot and found this little place. Located in a busy shopping center on Broadway near House of pancakes. Friendly and helpful barista! They have a menu up and a pamphlet with more information on what they serve. They have many options coffee and latte flavors and do vegan dessert and some breakfast items. Dessert made in house. I had them Make me a strawberry & lavender iced latte and wow it was delicious. It is my custom signature drink. And they did good! I'm so happy to check out this local gem! I wanted to grab an iced latte and went with the spiced brown sugar syrup. I didn't realize that they made their syrups in-house which is a huge plus. Prices are comparable to other local coffee shops. It was truly love at first sip! I'm always wary that some drinks may come out too sweet as I've had that experience before, but my drink was perfect. The sweet potato biscuit was delicious! Highly recommend and they have a sweet potato jalapeño one too if you love the sweet and spicy. It is a very small area to sit and eat inside but they have a few tables outside as well. I ordered a drip coffee which was good. It wasn't bitter and had a bit of a nutty chocolate hint to it. Thumbs up for gluten free options!!! Decide to stop by to try some local coffee and a pastry. Coffee selection was perfect, and liked that small area of pastries was dedicated to gluten free. Loved that we could add cloud foam to any drink of choice. The cinnamon roll cold brew with cloud foam was an absolute delight and the Oreo & cream cold brew was also delicious (per the sip I tried). The cashier was extremely friendly and offered help when we tried deciding what to order (made sure there was no one waiting on us in line for those wondering). This is my favorite coffee shop in Lemon Grove. All their food is vegan and gluten-free! I highly recommend their focaccia bread (it is to die for) and their mini heart shaped carrot cakes. The dessert size is perfect for those not trying to over do it and it is literally bite size so I love these for my sweet tooth. They do have regular sizes as well. I always get the hot honey cinammon latte with an extra shot but all the food/drink items I have ordered, I have liked. The pictures I uploaded are a hibiscus lemonade and cold brew salted caramel foam. The service is pretty quick, but of course they do have those days and times when it can get busy (like any other place) but overall I have never waited more than 10 max plus you can order ahead via phone or website. Overall it is a pretty cute place and has a table, a booth, high chairs, outdoor seating and a whole bunch of small plants. Was in the area and in the mood for some coffee and found this little gem. Super cute coffee shop that makes you feel right at home. The service was great, they made some recommendations since first time here. Got the elevated pumpkin cold brew and the non caffeinated cookies and cream. Both were really good, my kiddos loved their cookies and cream drink which is like a chocolate milk. Also grabbed the last pumpkin snickerdoodle cookie which was very tasty. Then there's the food. Oh, you wanted to hear about the coffee? Yes, they have coffee - my palate doesn't really comprehend how good or poor coffee is, other than, it was good. Not overpowering. Not bitter. Not sour. Just black. The manager (owner) was super helpful in working through the menu options even with a growing line behind. She effectively explained my questions, efficiently filled other orders in the process all-the-while keeping the patron the center of her focus, and upsold some baked goods all while keeping a friendly tone and moving the line along. Now, let's get back to this food - oh....my....what?! Are you kidding me?! With a great handful of serious food issues, their vegan options had me drooling. From the blueberry bread pudding that punches you right in the taste buds from the first bite, to following up with an unexpected under hook from the explosion of flavors in the biscuits not mentioned anywhere in the available menu pics. I've never been here before and when i came in, the ambiance was clean and it felt welcoming. Ms Tanya was very nice and she made sure people that was in the line was acknowledged. She knew it was my first time there so she recommended a few things like the ice cube coffee thst they offer and she gave it to me for free. I was also wearing my scrubs and she asked what i do for work, and she gave me a discount which was really nice because not a lot of cafes give discounts to people in the medical field. We stumbled upon this place by accident on a very hot day. We were pleasantly surprised not only by the great customer service but by how great everything tasted. We ordered: a matcha strawberry lemonade, an Oreo frappe and a matcha cookie. The drinks were very refreshing and the cookie was the perfect consistency. Ok, I am probably the exact opposite of the people who typically frequent Elevated Coffee. I have never done a vegan/vegetarian option of anything in my life. Ask my 3 daughters, there is very little about me that is girly, and Elevated has a bit of a girly look. Yet, I have to say, this place is great. The coffee is fantastic, the service was the best I experienced on our trip to San Diego over the Thanksgiving break. It is a little harder to find, but completely worth the effort. My friend picked the Elevated Iced Latte so I decided to try it too but with oat milk. You MUST try the Elevated Iced Latte. It's an entirely unique experience, that is hardly found around coffee shops. The foam has a nice consistency, and plays a major role in the drinking experience. First, the foam is not just foam, it's a nice cloudy foam with the right amount of viscosity to entertain your mouth. Second, Unlike other foam lattes where the foam will quickly be consumed at the beginning, fall apart and disappear into the drink or move out of your mouth when you take a sip, this foam remains present throughout the entire drinking experience and flows right into your mouth. You really have to be deliberate to leave no foam behind. See pics. Lastly, when you've consumed all of the drink and are just left with foam at the bottom of your cup, drinking the remaining foam is so pleasant it's like a reward. This is a really cute coffee shop! I stopped in while getting my hair done nearby and the service was kind. I ordered the Bees Knees latte, which is a lavender honey latte with pollen sprinkled on top! It's so delicious! I also got the espresso brownie and it's amazing.
