Cute, tasty, and a fun atmosphere, what more can a girl ask for? We spent our Mother's Day here and it was special. The food options are limited and there was no chicken for the salad however the experience was fun and I'd come back. Definitely a place to try! The food was good and the staff were so kind and helpful!
So.Much.PINK! I took my wife and daughter here and they absolutely fell in love with this place. The vibe is definitely welcoming and cute from a guy standpoint. The service baristas were really helpful helping decide the best choice of drink. I snagged their brown sugar shaken expresso which was very delightful. Daughter grabbed French Vanilla Kiss. My daughter was smiling the whole time and was getting ideas how she wants to decorate her bedroom. (Thanks pink rose cafe!). lol.
This place has been on my list for a long time, and I finally got a chance to check it out. I love the concept, the all-pink, rosy aesthetic is super cute and definitely eye-catching. The service, however, was a bit hit or miss. One of the staff members was incredibly sweet and did a fantastic job, while the other wasn't very welcoming, which affected the overall experience. I ordered the avocado bagel on an everything bagel, and it was absolutely delicious. I also felt the bagel was fairly and reasonably priced. On the other hand, I tried the pink rosy lemonade after asking for a staff recommendation, and it was quite disappointing. It tasted like overly sweet, pink-colored sugar water and felt very overpriced for what it was. I really hope they reconsider their pricing on drinks to better match the quality.

The coffee drinks are ok but they offer only 16 oz sizes for things like cappuccino, and I don't think there is any option for a non-cardboard cup. While I've never tried any of the food items like waffles, I am usually looking for a pastry of some type, and there is usually very little on offer. I assume it is better in the early morning but that isn't when I go. Today there was just two slices of a coffee cake, which my wife said was very dry and tasteless. I agree with Dana R., it feels like they went all in on theme and phoned the rest in. They have added some outside tables. The chairs on the inside tables are slightly low and hard to get out of if you are older.
first of all - this is the cutest little coffee shop i have ever seen. my daughters favorite color is pink so i told her to put on something pink and we decided to go check it out. the menu is limited/pricey and not a lot to choose from but it made her soo happy. i do like their new lavender lemonade that i tried during the taste of la mesa - but i was pretty bummed you had to choose between that or the matcha :( however, im excited to see where there next location is and if they are expanding the menu!
I absolutely loved Pink Rose Cafe! The beautiful flowers and scenery make it such a cute, welcoming place, and it even has a great family-friendly vibe. I ordered a caramel macchiato, and it was delicious! The workers were excellent--so friendly and welcoming. Overall, I give Pink Rose Cafe a 10/10. I'll definitely be replacing my usual morning coffee stop with them!
Theee cutest little cafe in La Mesa. Second time around and no disappointments. Customer service is always A1. They adjusted my drink to how I like it and it was perfect! Thank you.
I had a fabulous time having a galentines day party here. Pink and red everywhere; w flowers on the walk vintage Barbie sketches in the bathroom and a full menu of deli us treats many of them pink. I had the best strawberry shake of my life (photo included) and a grill cheese sandwich w turkey;others had crepes and coffee drinks (pink)amongst other things. So many great photo opps for u and your girlies.
We recently visited Pink Rose Cafe for the first time, and it was such a cute experience--especially because my daughter specifically asked to go to an all-pink café and was so excited about it. The vibe is definitely part of the charm. Inside, it's on the smaller side, but they've put so much thought into the decor. It has this vintage, feminine, all-pink aesthetic that feels really intentional and pretty. It's one of those places that's just fun to look at and be in. I ordered a coconut matcha, and it was honestly so good--definitely something I'd go back for. My kids got an ice cream sundae, and they loved it too, so that was a win all around. They also have outdoor seating, which is where we ended up sitting since the weather's been so nice lately. I will say, it did get pretty warm inside and didn't seem like there was much AC, so sitting outside felt like the better option. The service was great--they bring everything out to you, which I always appreciate, especially when I'm with my kids. It made the whole experience feel more relaxed. Another little bonus is the area itself--the street is super cute, with a few other small shops nearby, so it's nice for walking around before or after. Overall, it's a really sweet spot with good drinks, a fun aesthetic, and a great little outing--especially if you have kids
The Pink Rose Cafe definitely lives up to its name! This cafe is small but super cute and aesthetically pleasing! The inside has lots of pink and also has 2 flower walls that are perfect for cute photo ops. There are about 7 tables inside and 2 outside as well. It was a little lonesome when I got there, and the staff didn't really offer any suggestions or greetings. I ordered an iced raspberry white mocha, which was delicious! It also had a good kick of caffeine that kept me going through my day. I wasn't able to grab any food to try since I was parked at the 5min parking spot out front and didn't want to risk a ticket and also didn't want to pay for parking. I definitely want to come back another day to try their food and other drinks, too.
Stopped by Pink Rose Cafe this morning and spent about $15 on two drinks: an espresso cortado and the French Kiss.First impressions, the café itself is very cute and definitely leans hard into the floral aesthetic, which makes it visually appealing and Instagram-friendly. The French Kiss tasted watered down, and I honestly couldn't taste the espresso at all. I even asked for an extra shot with oat milk, but it ended up tasting more like diluted sugar than coffee. It was pretty disappointing.The espresso cortado was basically just straight espresso. I requested almond milk, but I couldn't really tell if anything had been added. I may stop by again during the week to give it another chance, since the space itself is very cute and an excellent little cafe to sit and talk with friends.

I could see this being a spot that attracts people for photos for sure. I thought it was just a coffee shop but they actually have a full menu too. Our coffee was good, nothing special but fresh and we enjoyed them. The avocado toast was basic, the bread was very fresh and it came as a single slice. Since it was very basic and only one slice, I think it was over priced. We also got a scoop of strawberry ice cream which was really good. We sat outside which was beautiful and peaceful. There is street parking, some metered. Ambiance and service was great, food/drinks were good, pricing was a little high for what you get but all in all, I liked the cafe.

My friend and I met for breakfast and a time to catch up. We were one of two parties there. We had a lot of catching up to do so I was a little happy that they weren't super busy or I would've felt rushed to leave. We both had the açaí bowls which were beautiful and tasted great. She had a matcha drink that was cute. I didn't taste it. I had the shaken brown sugar latte. It was okay. Initially I wanted a pastry but they looked like Costco muffins and pastries, but more expensive. Seemed a little old. One of the tables near us got the strawberry waffle and it was really pretty. Later, another got a bagel sandwich which looked tasty. Might give it another try with my daughters and hit the meet cute book shop a few doors down.
Calling All Pink Lovers! ...this is the place for you! The Pink Rose Cafe is so cute! It's fun and definitely a place for many photo ops! It was our first time here and I wanted to take my daughter somewhere different and unique. She thinks she is a young lady now so she wants to do coffee dates with me and her Dad. The flowers on the wall are eye catching and enhances the pink color. The cashier was super sweet and very helpful when it came to us ordering our drinks. She wanted to make sure my daughter got the perfect drink. I got the Spiked Brown Sugar Latte and she got the French Vanilla Kiss. They both were very tasty. Pretty place, lots of seating, spacious. I ordered an iced Mexican Mocha less sweet and it was perfect! It actually tasted like coffee, not overly sweet like most places. Downside. Parking is awful. Hardly any and you have to pay. Baristas are not very friendly. I wish they would have smiled. read more

Notice how this coffee shop is very cutesy.. very demure. The baristas.. very mindful of making your order The aesthetic is a whole vibe. Here for it. Stopped by mid morning / afternoon. Ordered a hot Mexican mocha and Iced Brown Sugar Espresso , alongside Pink Rose Waffles. All 3 items were perfect, waffles surprisingly not as sweet as I anticipated. Would order all 3 again. My only mistake was not getting a bigger espresso. Baristas all super friendly! As it was our first time, helped decide on an order. They offer a variety of milk substitutes for the caffeinated drinks. Will probably try pastries at the next go. Will be back for more.. be ready to take pics in their flower wall. read more

Second time coming here and it was great. The esthetic is so cute and definitely girly. It was pretty busy but expected because it's the weekend and around Christmas so that's just a bad combo lol. But the girl who took my order was lovely and very attentive and kept acknowledging I was waiting for my order which was nice. I tried the avocado toast and it was delicious. They did not skimp on the avocado. For coffee I tried the seasonal pumpkin spice matcha with oat milk. Very yummy. Overall great experience and I'll love to come back to eat more avocado toast. read more

Such a cute spot! Pink Rose Cafe has a beautiful interior; pink florals everywhere and a really pretty, welcoming vibe. I ordered an iced latte with no sweetener in the coffee but added caramel drizzle, and it was a great, well-balanced cup. Solid coffee, lovely atmosphere, and wonderful service. Very cute little coffee shop right in downtown La Mesa. The inside and outside are very cutesy and the whole cafe is overall very "instagram-able". An iced latte with oat milk will run you about $8 so it's not an everyday visit for me, but it's a fun stop every once in a while. Wouldn't say the food or drinks are out of this world, but again, unique ambiance. It can get busy so service sometimes is a little slow. As for parking, I can typically find a parking spot on the street! read more

We stopped by to try their matcha drinks. Both drinks we ordered were good, only suggestion would be to not add the straws without asking it makes it hard to mix the drinks well once the straws are inside. We also got the donuts, which we were pleasantly surprised by. The location is rather on the smaller side, it was a busy Saturday morning so we decided to sit outside and wait for our items. It's a little on the pricier side but you're paying for the pink experience, which is definitely a great place for photos and brunch with friends. read more

Perfect super cute spot for a girls breakfast, brunch or just sit and sip lattes. The iced lavender latte was my favorite. I requested to add lavender cold foam and cotton candy. The service is friendly. Everything is made to perfection so there might be a tiny bit of wait so take a seat and enjoy the ambience. Definitely a spot to hit up if in the neighborhood. There's meter parking available. read more

The ambiance of the cafe is nice. I ordered 2 cotton candy lemonades. The cotton candy wasn't what I expected it looked like they just ripped it from a bag of store bought cotton candy and put it around the straw. It wasn't fluffy at all and seemed a bit stale. The girl at the counter wasn't very knowledgeable of the menu either when asked what comes in the drinks. The lemonade had very little ice, it was warm until about half way through, and had no flavor tasted watered down, I got 2 different ones and both tasted the same basically like water you wouldn't be able to tell the difference if you were blindfolded. The bagels are yummy though toppings were well balanced. read more
Cute pink place full of roses and pink. Had a cup an expensive cup of coffee and an expensive "panini" I wanted to try this place since a little while ago. Finally got the chance and I liked the ambiance. Service was okay. For a cute looking place, I was surprised when my expensive cup of coffee didn't come in a China cup but a cupboard one. Sandwich was very expensive for what you get, a piece of cold cut, 4 slices of red bell pepper... Anyway, glad I tried it out, but don't think I am coming back. This was in my list for so long just because of the cute factor. There was no other customer than me when I visited and no welcoming, just taking my order. All the pastries were gone so only ordered a cappuccino that was ok. Maybe because I went during a time where I could see the fake flowers in full splendor I asked myself what the heck I was doing in such a tacky place. Suddenly the plastic flowers remembered me the ones you put in the cemeteries. Maybe I got already tired of the Barbie pink phase. I liked the outdoor seating more. read more

Such a cute cafe with everything floral and pink I loved all the attention to detail; pink receipts, florals on the walls and table, drink presentations, and more. Also as a Matcha lover, they had different options of matcha. I tried the iced horchata matcha for the first time and it hit the spot. I have been here two different times and I have a few comments. First of all the place is so cute!! The food and drinks are great quality and the service is amazing. I went there with my friend a little late which made me feel bad but the staff had a great spirit and was very welcoming! Definitely recommend it for a casual cafe hangout. read more
