I have been a Starbucks customer/ lover for over 30 years! Literally! I have enjoyed a chai tea latte, pretty much every day since! I'm talking, even in different countries where applicable. I was really at a loss a few months ago when they changed their recipe! I drive by this establishment every day on my way to get on the 94. I thought to myself, "one time can't hurt!" OH MY GOODNESS!!! The Chai tea ACTUALLY had TASTE! It did not taste like that new found chemical (classic) taste Starbucks apparently has pumped into my beloved drink. The customer service was bubbly and jovial! I went inside one day because the drive thru was a tad chaotic, and I saw what I believed to be the owner. He was so just, chill and carrying on with the patrons. I really hope he is cognizant and proud of his bustling coffee shop he has created. This man, is also on the headset as well. So the work ethic is there. I want to see this for a local business! This is why they THRIVE! I have never met this person, no idea of his name, I am an observer as well as being part of the food and beverage industry. I appreciate greatness. The customer service here, all around is 10/10! New Fave Iced Coffee: The Lemon Poppyseed Shaken Espresso If you are in Spring Valley/La Mesa area, you have to stop by and try this drink. I was able to peek the inside from their drive thru line and the seating and space looks very comfortable. The drive thru line itself is a huge plus for me when on-the-go before work/errands. Getting back to the drink, I did order this iced with Oat Milk and half sweet -- It is so delicious My coworkers were even surprised at how much they liked it because of the lemon. Me personally? I was recommended here by a friend and came on a Sunday and the drive thru line was insane. It like wrapped around. So I parked thinking I could go in but the inside was closed. Not sure if it's every Sunday or just that day. I was sad to leave and not get to try. I came back today a Friday morning and the line was just as long. I opted to go in and so glad I did. I ordered the white chocolate mocha blended cold brew with caramel drizzle and it was so good! Now I understand the long lines! They have so many good drink and food options to select from. The inside is so cute and so perfect to catch up with a friend or on work emails or just relax and enjoy a coffee. The workers were friendly and fast. I waited maybe 5 minutes for my drink. This is probably my 3/4th visit. Every single drink I've gotten from here never disappoints. From the banana espresso, to the chocolate shake, mochas and the cookie butter chai I had today - so good! And the service is always pleasant, so far always friendly ! The food is very good too, have no complaints. I will say the sausage in the breakfast sandwich is too sweet. I was looking for a new drive-thru coffee spot and was lucky enough to find this gem pretty close to me. Not only do they have tons of delicious hot and iced drink options, but they also carry the best selection of breakfast and lunch items as well. Everything i've had here so far has been absolutely delicious and I can't help but tell everyone I know about this place. The inside dining is spacious and very modern. The service is always quick as possible and friendly. If you like bold flavors, i'd recommend the BLTA chipotle bagel sammy. Best sandwich i've ever had, hands down. I don't think you could go wrong with anything you choose though. The drive-thru/parking lot situation can be tough on a busy day, since it's tucked in a small corner right off the freeway but it's more than worth it. Stopped by Gladly Coffee--not really a big coffee guy, but this place surprised me. The Chimichurri steak sandwich was the highlight. Really solid--great flavor, good portion, and cooked right. Didn't get the chance to take a picture of our drinks but we opted for the two most popular: the Peanut Butter latte and the Dirty Harry latte. The peanut butter latte has a very strong flavor and was my favorite out of the two, the Dirty Harry was very rich in flavor and a bit too sweet for my taste. This coffee shop has a drive through that was packed so we ordered inside and they also had a line but it moved quickly. Staff was very friendly despite being busy,the was loud atmosphere but that was to be expected due to the amount of customers for a Saturday morning. The last few times I've gone the customer service in the drive thru was exceptionally rude and condescending! She acted as though I was interrupting her. Last week the same thing happened with a different girl. When they opened they had employees that actually we're doing a good job. Now I have had numerous encounters with girls who in no way shape or form should be in customer service . Who is hiring these people? I'm fed up with this! They need to train these entitled jerks about appropriate behavior. This coupled with the stupid drive thru is enough for me. They want people to zipper at the drive but all that does is allow people to cut the line. What a unpleasant experience from start to finish. I've been driving this drive-thru for the past 3 years now. I no longer live near this location but I still make my way there (that should tell you something!). It has been a drive-thru since I remember but officially, this year you can walk in and order! My favorites (in this order) 1. Spicy Jack 2. Dirty Harry Shaken Espresso (1/2 sweet) 3. Bees Knees Latte 4. Cheese Danish (better than Starbucks - way cheaper and wayyyy more cheese in the middle) 5. Oatmeal with berries and almond butter As you can see, they have a very extensive menu. You can literally order breakfast, lunch and dinner from here. They also have non-caffeine options such as smoothies. The vibes are chill inside. You see a wide range of ages, from teens to older adults. The inside renovations are pretty planty-modern and they also have outdoor seating. Service is quick and always friendly. I've never had an issue with my order and its always done the same exact way. Highly recommend!! It's like a hidden gem. read more

I usually come here on my lunch break, and I love that they have a drive-through it's perfect when you're short on time and need something quick and easy. My go-to order is the Chimichurri Steak Sandwich and the Dirty Harry latte. I've tried other items, but I always end up coming back to these two. The only reason I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars is because the sandwich hasn't been super consistent. Sometimes they add plenty of sauce (which I love), and other times it's a bit light. It might seem like a small detail, but it really changes the overall flavor of the sandwich. I'm not usually a big coffee drinker since strong coffee can give me a headache when it's too strong, but the Dirty Harry latte is perfect it has just the right balance of coffee and sweetness, and it's nice and creamy. I also tried the Bee's Knees latte, but it wasn't my favorite. I normally love lavender milk teas/coffees. The lavender flavor tasted artificial & powdery and nothing like lavender. I haven't had a chance to sit inside yet since I'm usually in a rush, but from what I've seen peeking in, the ambiance looks nice like a cute cafe! Dude this place rocks! I used to live only a few miles from this coffee shop and my husband and I would frequent a few times a week if we could. When working remote, the highlight of my day was going and enjoying various drinks from gladly. Most notable is a peanut butter latte, Matcha, berry cooler, and the vegan Mocha. I've had multiple coconut Matcha and other lattes as well. Their food is absolutely scrumptious! Seriously some of the best drive-through coffee breakfast I've ever had everything's delicious. All of the sandwiches are to die for the bagels are great. They loaded up sometimes a little bit too much. I have no complaints about gladly. In the years that I have frequent in here, I have never had more than one mistake that the owners were quick to fix. Additionally, it's nice that they have a rewards program. I love that their coffee syrups are house made, that is a big plus for us. They also have seasonal that we enjoy trying them out. I only had one breakfast sandwich and it was delicious. It used to be a great place to get work done, have a meeting, or simply shoot the breeze with friends, but now they only have the drive thru open. I am not a fan of that. I went here on accident after some mural painting with a friend and it was so good! I got birria sliders and a lavender pollen latte with soy and it was delicious. I ended up stopping by again on a road trip to Arizona (I forgot what drink I got but I got the ham and cheese croissant for food) and the service and food was just as great the second time. I went to purchase two Breakfast Jack Bagel Sammy's with Steak as the protein and I keep eating and eating it but there's no steak. I look & the steak piece is so small for this being a $15.00 sandwich. This is ridiculous. I tried to call to inform them that I barely got what I paid for. I've added photos to show how there is practically no steak & it was the smallest piece I've ever seen in the whole sandwich and the only piece.
