Blended white chocolate mocha cold brew with caramel drizzle.
Jessica S.

I was recommended here by a friend and came on a Sunday and the drive thru line was insane. It like wrapped around. So I parked thinking I could go in but the inside was closed. Not sure if it's every Sunday or just that day. I was sad to leave and not get to try. I came back today a Friday morning and the line was just as long. I opted to go in and so glad I did. I ordered the white chocolate mocha blended cold brew with caramel drizzle and it was so good! Now I understand the long lines! They have so many good drink and food options to select from. The inside is so cute and so perfect to catch up with a friend or on work emails or just relax and enjoy a coffee. The workers were friendly and fast. I waited maybe 5 minutes for my drink. The inside was pretty busy as well. This is definitely somewhere I plan to come back to again.

I don't even know where to begin, everything we ordered was top-notch. Every single coffee and dish was amazing, and I'll definitely be coming back. The seasonal menu was incredible, and honestly, I wish I could give more than five stars. And the tater tots? Absolute fire. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area, don't sleep on this place!

This is probably my 3/4th visit. Every single drink I've gotten from here never disappoints. From the banana espresso, to the chocolate shake, mochas and the cookie butter chai I had today - so good! And the service is always pleasant, so far always friendly ! The food is very good too, have no complaints. I will say the sausage in the breakfast sandwich is too sweet. But the steak Sammy's are very good! This place is definitely chill vibes! Would definitely come here again and again! (Especially love the drive thru!)

I was looking for a new drive-thru coffee spot and was lucky enough to find this gem pretty close to me. Not only do they have tons of delicious hot and iced drink options, but they also carry the best selection of breakfast and lunch items as well. Everything i've had here so far has been absolutely delicious and I can't help but tell everyone I know about this place. The inside dining is spacious and very modern. The service is always quick as possible and friendly. If you like bold flavors, i'd recommend the BLTA chipotle bagel sammy. Best sandwich i've ever had, hands down. I don't think you could go wrong with anything you choose though. The drive-thru/parking lot situation can be tough on a busy day, since it's tucked in a small corner right off the freeway but it's more than worth it. Don't forget to ask for a punch card to earn free drinks!

Stopped by Gladly Coffee--not really a big coffee guy, but this place surprised me. The Chimichurri steak sandwich was the highlight. Really solid--great flavor, good portion, and cooked right. Stopped by here to get my Grill coffee, did not expect the food to be filling, but it was. Tried the Dirty Harry Latte even though coffee's not really my thing, and it was actually pretty good. Service was great. Overall, came for a quick bite and ended up impressed. Definitely worth it, especially for the food.

I've lived here 10 years & just discovered Gladly Coffee. The steak sandwich was divine! The Peanut butter Latte was a PB lovers dream! 10/10!

Breakfast Jack Bagel Sammy from Gladly Coffee

My absolute favorite coffee shop! The Dirty Harry shaken espresso is literally the best iced coffee drink I've ever had. It's strong and rich and just perfect. Also, the Breakfast Jack Bagel Sammy will make any sad day a happy one. It's amazing. Definitely try this place if you haven't before!

Didn't get the chance to take a picture of our drinks but we opted for the two most popular: the Peanut Butter latte and the Dirty Harry latte. The peanut butter latte has a very strong flavor and was my favorite out of the two, the Dirty Harry was very rich in flavor and a bit too sweet for my taste. This coffee shop has a drive through that was packed so we ordered inside and they also had a line but it moved quickly. Staff was very friendly despite being busy, the was loud atmosphere but that was to be expected due to the amount of customers for a Saturday morning. Will be back for that peanut butter latte again!

Just tried Gladly Coffee and it absolutely delivered. The Chimichurri steak sandwich was packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, juicy, and balanced with that fresh, herby kick. And the Dirty Harry Latte? Easily one of the best specialty lattes I've had, rich, bold, and just the right amount of indulgent. Great food, great coffee, and an all-around solid experience. Definitely coming back.

Outside drive-thru

I've been driving this drive-thru for the past 3 years now. I no longer live near this location but I still make my way there (that should tell you something!). It has been a drive-thru since I remember but officially, this year you can walk in and order! My favorites (in this order) 1. Spicy Jack 2. Dirty Harry Shaken Espresso (1/2 sweet) 3. Bees Knees Latte 4. Cheese Danish (better than Starbucks - way cheaper and wayyyy more cheese in the middle) 5. Oatmeal with berries and almond butter As you can see, they have a very extensive menu. You can literally order breakfast, lunch and dinner from here. They also have non-caffeine options such as smoothies. The vibes are chill inside. You see a wide range of ages, from teens to older adults. The inside renovations are pretty planty-modern and they also have outdoor seating. Service is quick and always friendly. I've never had an issue with my order and its always done the same exact way. Highly recommend!! It's like a hidden gem.

Pumpkin chai. Love my seasonal drinks and this did it for me.

Always love a drive thru for my coffee spots. Parking does suck here. But the drinks make up for it. They are delicious. This place is on one of my rotating coffee places. I will say I didn't think I was into sweeter drinks but this place has changed my mind.

Iced coffee and breakfast sandwich

Now I get why there is always a long line for the drive through . I can on a busy day so I decided to go it and I was not disappointed it's got a great coffee shop feel like stay awhile meet up with friends lots of couch like seating . Orders a breakfast sandwich and coffee price point was perfect . But coffee was a little strong and lacking that small coffee shop sparkle . Breakfast sandwich was great .

Convenient location, fast service, reasonable prices and most of all, not a giant conglomerate. Will go again.

I don't think there is one, it's just hang on in the meantime. I'm sure they'll toss one out.

Is the inside close to being open yet? Hating the drive thru situation since someone always seems to cut me. TY ☺️

I was on my way to church and needed an early cup and was surprised how many shops were not open at 7 AM. I'm sure I could have found a Starbucks but that's always reserved for a last resort. Big props to this spot being open early on a Sunday morning, so I could make it to church prayed up and fully caffeinated. The barista opened right on time (7 AM) I loved how friendly she was for it being that early, and she got me my drink within 3-4 minutes. I am not a big coffee drive-thru guy, but if I lived in the area, especially knowing it is veteran owned, I might become one. Thanks guys and best of luck!

I've had Red White and Badass Brew one other time after my husband raved about this cookies and cream latte he got here. It's a small, local, veteran owned shop, which honestly makes supporting it feel even better. So, I thought getting his favorite drink would help, but turns out that was a seasonal winter drink... please bring it back, it was sooo good. I got in line around 8:30 and there were two cars in front of me. This place is so small and cute, I actually used to work in one of these drive-thru kiosk style cafes so I didn't mind the short wait at all as usually its only one or two people working in there. I do wish they had a menu visible from the line because I couldn't decide what I wanted while waiting. The only things visible were the specials like an avocado toast and a "no lucks given" drink. I ended up pulling up the menu on my phone which works, but it would be more convenient if they had something displayed out front like a sandwich board or something. The employee was incredible, super friendly, my order was taken quick and my drink came out even quicker. It is a little on the pricier side for a cup of coffee but you are supporting a local business. With tip it came out to over $9 for a regular size. I ordered the no lucks given, which is a chocolate Irish cream latte, and swapped to oat milk. My first sip was amazing, a medium dark roast that wasn't bitter at all with a rich chocolate flavor. You could see the chocolate coating the walls of the cup and I'm pretty sure there was a cold foam on top that made it extra creamy. The overall drink was smooth and well balanced, just a little too sweet for my liking but that's something I can adjust next time. I did have a kind of odd moment though. My second sip was great until I got hit with a sudden punch of salt. Like a full on salt crystal just melted on my tongue for a good 10 seconds. It was strong and definitely woke me up... which I guess is what the coffee was supposed to do, I just didn't expect a surprise salt bomb to help with that. After that I checked my drink and everything looked fine and the rest of it tasted great. Overall I'll definitely be back. The service was great, the drink was solid, and I love supporting a spot like this. I can't wait to come here more often, and hopefully one day come back with my husband when comes home from deployment, with his cookies and cream drink back on the menu.

Recently, I spent some time back in La Mesa and thought I would go back and try this spot out. So much space, friendly staff, reasonable prices, with a bunch of gluten-free and vegan options when it comes to food. Plenty of parking, outdoor seating as well, and even when they were busy, I think I did not wait more than five minutes for my drink. I chose to use their honey syrup instead of regular honey, and was not disappointed with my iced oatmilk latte also, I have to point out something you don't typically see at a lot of coffee shops. Both times I went, there was an incredible mix of generations in that shop. From younger to older, it was awesome to see generations coming together. Great job guys!

The vibe is definitely part of the charm. Inside, it's on the smaller side, but they've put so much thought into the decor. It has this vintage, feminine, all-pink aesthetic that feels really intentional and pretty. It's one of those places that's just fun to look at and be in. I ordered a coconut matcha, and it was honestly so good--definitely something I'd go back for. My kids got an ice cream sundae, and they loved it too, so that was a win all around. They also have outdoor seating, which is where we ended up sitting since the weather's been so nice lately. I will say, it did get pretty warm inside and didn't seem like there was much AC, so sitting outside felt like the better option. The service was great--they bring everything out to you, which I always appreciate, especially when I'm with my kids. It made the whole experience feel more relaxed. Another little bonus is the area itself--the street is super cute, with a few other small shops nearby, so it's nice for walking around before or after.
