A few tables inside to sit down and an area with chalk colors and a chalkboard if you are in the mood for drawing, which I thought it was pretty cool. The coffee here is SO good...I am comparing their coffee to many places that are high quality including dark horse, birdrock coffee, peets, etc. I personally think it's even better. The coffee is strong but not bitter at all extremely smooth and the latte was very creamy. No bitterness, not one ounce of foaminess in sight it was the absolute perfect latte. Loved our experience at Rob's BrewPoint coffee shop. Stopped by early on a Saturday morning, and upon entering we were greeted by the 2 baristas. Ordered the nitro cold brew coffee, which was super tasty with hints of orange and vanilla, I loved it so much! Honestly better than a lot of places I've tried. My husband got an Americano, and we also grabbed one for our friend with milk. My hubby and I are black coffee drinkers and were impressed with the quality of the beans. The service was wonderful, and the barista answered all of our questions. They have local vendor merch like super cute earrings, stickers, and other fun items. 735 am there were only two customers inside and there was a quick wait while the owner finished up a customer's drink. Free street parking directly in front of the business and walking distance if you're staying at the Courtyard around the corner. I had a Breakfast club ice latte $7.50 and vegan cinnamon toast muffin $4. My muffin was warmed up which made it perfect and a delicious morning treat. Coffee was strong and perfectly brewed. If you're in this area skip the Starbucks and support this local business you won't be disappointed. Only negative in my personal opinion was the music, it was a little too loud for morning coffee and not the environment I would enjoy drinking my coffee. I personally wouldn't choose to dine in. But I'm definitely a fan of employees listening to what they enjoy which is why I still give this business 5 stars. read more

A flat white with 4 shots of espresso and half and half aka keto style instead of milk, with a packet of raw sugar. Ask the barista to put the raw sugar pack in the cup before he pulls the espresso. The half and half will give the drink a smooth, rich qnd velvety mouth feel. With the quality of the beans they are using, the coffee flavor will sit on your tongue with no bitterness. Checked out Rob's Brew Point in El Cajon for the first time, and it's a pretty cool spot. Lots of seating both inside and outside, vibing background music, and great service. They've got a solid coffee menu with fun options like fan fave lattes and seasonal drinks. I went with an iced Breakfast Club, served in a glass cup, which was a nice surprise--haven't had a drink in a glass cup for a while, even when dining in. The coffee is a bit pricey for my budget (paid over $8 for mine), but it's still a nice place to hang out and enjoy a good cup of coffee in El Cajon. read more

Greeted warmly by the baristas and a few regulars popped by around the time I came, I love hearing how well baristas know their community & vice versa, it gives such a nice cozy vibe. The flavors change here which keeps it interesting but they know how to brew coffee here. I had the Purple Rain (80's throwback to the artist Prince and the Revolution). The flavor was a home run with lavender with oat milk substituted. Yes, from the outside it does not look much but once you had a sip of the java here there is no disagreement that place deserves credit where it's due. There is real estate in there if you want to work from your laptop with a view of the street. There are also some tables on the outside to take advantage of a nice sunny day. There is street parking or you can park the Marriott parking lot which is a stone's throw away. I was impressed with the bold and rich flavor of coffee brewed here. I've had coffee in NYC, Chicago, London, Portland, Seattle, Berlin, Tokyo so I have experienced a spectrum of well-crafted coffee and Rob's BrewPoint knows how to make a great cup of Joe. I've never been in this area before and the day we went it was in the afternoon and blazing hot! I went with my brother and was surprised that there was soo much parking available. The design of the area was reminiscent of La Mesa Village. It was so lovely. Upon walking in, the color of the door was pretty interesting -- a minty green color. We were welcomed in by cool winds (AC) and one older man and a young woman. They were both kind and gave us time to go through the menu. In addition, they asked us if they could help us out with choosing. Although I already looked at the menu beforehand and had an idea of what I was going to order. I ordered a caramel iced latte, which means under their menu it was a "caramel dream." This caramel wasn't like anything I've had before! It kind of had a smokey flavor to it. I wanted my brother to give me another opinion about it, but he's lactose intolerant. I give this a 8.7/10 rating. The presentation of it was lovely, a drizzle of caramel on top. My brother had a cold brew that had some foam at the top. It was different than other cold brews he had before. He really enjoyed it and said it was the best one ever!! I had some as well and was pretty curious about the beans used, but me being shy I didn't ask. 10/10 said my brother! They have wifi available (password too), ac, a good handful of seatings, and AMAZING choices for drinks! Gonna have to come back to try their fall flavors for sure.
