I got a red velvet heart cake, designed exactly like the reference photo I sent and how my mom wanted it! She made the cake quickly in the time frame I needed which was amazing because I was running out of time. Cake was beautiful and the buttercream for the design she used had an amazing taste, not too sweet which I love in my opinion. The red velvet was also perfect. Everything from emailing, accepting, paying and picking up the cake was extremely easy and effortless. Thank you!!
Cakes by Sierra is by far the best!! We ordered a custom cake from them to celebrate my company's 10 year anniversary and she knocked it out of the park! We got so many compliments on the cake and you can tell she took her time with making it exactly what we were envisioning. Thank you!
Sierra has made my girls birthday cakes the past 2 years. Sierra is super easy to provide ideas to and she runs with it and everything turns out beautifully. All our guests are amazed by how the cakes look and even MORE impressed by how delicious it tastes. I've had a number of guests say it's the best birthday cake they've had!! We know other bakers personally, but I keep choosing Sierra because her results cannot be beat and prices seem very reasonable for what you get.
Sierra knocked it out of the park with a cake for my spouse's birthday. They love Lego so I was looking for an "elevated look" with Lego theme, but didn't want too much fondant. Within minutes of submitting the online form and providing inspiration photos Sierra confirmed the design and everything was set. Delivery to our house the morning of was even better! We all loved the cake - it tasted great & was the perfect surprise!
I contacted Sierra for the first time for a hot wheels cake for my sons 4th birthday. Sierra was great sending me a quote and adjusting small details in order to make sure the details in the quote would reflect the cake I wanted made. Communication through email was pretty responsive, not immediate but she would eventually reply. Pricing for the cake itself and for delivery was very reasonable! She arrived on time with the cake and saved me a LOT of stress. Cake itself was good. I've posted pictures of the inspiration cake and the cake she made. We got lots of compliments on it and the taste was actually pretty good too. It was not too sweet and by far the best tasting of all fondant cakes I've ordered in the past from other vendors. The one thing I was upset about were the orange race tacks on the bottom half of the cake. While everything else was done quite beautifully, the tracks were not very neat. I notice details a lot so of course it bothered me more than it should've. The cake overall looked great and no one seemed to notice the tracks. I just wish she would've made sure that she could've pulled those off before making the cake. But again, small detail and not a deal breaker. Overall it was a great experience and I'd most likely order again with her. Thanks Sierra!

The cookies and cream and strawberry cakes were delicious. Strawberry was my personal favorite and had actual strawberries in it. The cake was moist and fresh. The decor was beautifully made to our specification. She worked with us on designing something Dungeons and Dragons themed and integrated several designs into two layers and allowed the perfect amount of room for a topper I wanted, including dowels so the heavy 1.5 lb topper would be supported. She expertly printed the font I wanted for initials and ampersand, made a nice castle with greenery and dice-shaped windows, dragon scales, and a mini dragon tail wrapped between the layers. It was beautiful and delicious, and everyone loved it.

Not only did it look great, it tasted even better! That is so hard to find these days. I feel like if the cake looks nice it tastes bad or vice versa. Not in this case! We ordered the very strawberry and white chocolate and raspberry flavors. They were both amazing. I had to change the delivery address last minute and Sierra was very flexible, it wasn't an issue at all! She delivered the cake efficiently (which is a HUGE help when you are hosting a party) The cake ordering process was impressive. From the very first email, to the very last piece of cake, Sierra was remarkable. I will definitely be ordering from her again!
Sierra is such an amazing and talented baker who surprised us with the most creative cake and cupcakes for my daughter's 5th Barbie birthday. The cakes were so amazing with the most intricate detail, I must've given her information to everyone at the party that asked about her. The cake and cupcakes were so yummy, and we even enjoyed the cupcakes a few days after the party. Thank you Sierra for making such show stopping pieces for my daughters birthday. She is also so reasonably priced compared to competition and responds quickly. Try her, you will not be disappointed!

I ordered a 7-inch White Chocolate and Raspberry Mousse cake for a 50th birthday party. The cake was beautiful and tasted even better than it looked. Absolutely looooved the cake! I ordered a customized cake for my son's 5th birthday of dragon ball z, sierra did the most amazing job! The dragon ball's were cake pops and everything including image of Goku was editable. We chose cookies and cream flavor and it was absolutely delicious! Everyone at the party complimented it and kept asking where I got it from because it was so good! 10/10 recommend and will be definitely ordering again! read more

I looked online for a local cake shop, for an anniversary I was going to celebrate. I then came across Cake by Sierra. It was very easy to fill out an invoice on the website, and they get back to you right away. Very good customer service as they make sure they have all the details on the cake you want, and how it is going to look. Very easy to pick up, and it's perfectly wrapped as well. If the review was purely on looks and customer service I would give 5 stars. If it was on taste and quality of cake sadly I would give less... so overall I'll give it a 4. At first the cake was dense after sitting out for an hour and the custard or filling was not spread evenly so when we took a slice it fell apart. The filling was more towards the center. I allowed the cake to sit out for another hour( 2 hours total) and tried the cake again and it was dry at that point. It is very disappointing because the cake was beautiful. I received so many compliments on Instagram on the cake and was asked where I got it so I referred everyone here in hopes that maybe mine was a dud. I would give her another chance because her work is truly great just the cake itself was a let down. I had a little more than half the cake left over but threw it away even thought we spent a pretty penny on it. I think the cake had good flavor but was distracted with the dryness of it...To end on a positive note Sierra seemed very nice and responded to emails in a timely manner. The cake looked exactly as I wanted it and I was very please with her talent in decorating the cake. Another positive is my 3 year loved the look of the cake as well. read more

Sierra made my daughter's Minecraft Themed Birthday Cake. It was the first time I have used her services and she definitely didn't disappoint. Her price seemed reasonable to me and still top notch quality. From the beginning when I contacted her about what I was looking for, to the end where she delivered it to the party venue. It was top class. Will definitely recommend her to others and will use her for my daughter's birthday cakes again. The inside of the cake was tasty and fluffy and not overly sweet which is what I wanted. Even the icing/ frosting wasn't super sweet and everything on the design was edible. Daughter chose Red Velvet for the cake. Definitely use Sierra for your cake needs. read more

This review is way overdue. We had Sierra make our daughter's quinceañera cake and we absolutely loved every aspect of working with her to make my daughter's dream cake come true. From the cake tasting and consultation to the delivery and setup everything was perfect. And better yet the cake tasted amazing, it was so good we had a layer made specifically for us to take home and enjoy. A few months later, on super short notice, Sierra was then able to make a small cake last minute for us and it tasted even better than we remembered! read more

I don't usually do reviews. BUT SHE IS AMAZING! it was a great experience all the way around. Her customer service is great! I had to reschedule my daughter's party because of weather & she was beyond understanding & accommodating. I planned my daughters party around this cake I had seen. Wasn't sure if I would find someone to duplicate it. BUT I DID! My daughters cake & cupcakes were beautiful! And once we tasted everything, I realized I now have my go to cake person!
