New owners, not the same service…read more This location has been my go to for year- graduations, retirements, milestone birthdays, etc. Just called today to place an order for my son's birthday, a basic cake with his name on it. No fondant, no printed image, just frosting and script. The party is this weekend and I've always ordered week of, no issue. When I called the woman who answered the phone was very rude and just kept repeating "We only take orders 3 weeks out. We only take orders 3 weeks out. We only take orders 3 weeks out." Literally over and over. I totally understand their policy may have recently changed- but say that to me instead of repeating yourself over and over while I'm trying to speak. Again, I totally understand that policies change but at least acknowledge that it's changed. I've ordered week of many times. A simple, "Oh no! We're totally booked this weekend." or "You know what, our policy has recently changed due to high demand." would've had me coming back in the future.
