Wow total flavor explosion! Go now! Order items to share. The pizza was crispy, juicy, moist! So dang good! I will return soon! Kids grilled cheese and fries were delicious we all tried it! My daughter was in heaven with it! Pork belly pieces were delicious! Unique flavor so it was a nice change from the norm. If you are an adventurer try this! Wings were hot and crispy. Excellent ranch! Chicken sliders crispy with pickles and a yummy sauce! Fountain sodas, lots of beer options. Everything made to order. Worth the wait! Get the pizza for sure! Had a small parking lot. Most tables are tall bar tables. A few short tables. 1 large big party booth. Call ahead to reserve it. I went for lunch. We all loved it! Staff was friendly.

LOVE LOVE LOVE their weekend special. Double smash burger and a beer for only $15!!! I love to add mastiff fries for only $4 more. The smash burger has lots of flavor with their aolie sauce and grilled onions. I like to sit at the bar and order so I'm able to try the drinks. The bartenders are always nice and make jokes as the games are on. I love coming here for any football, baseball, or basketball game. They always have them playing, sometimes with the sound on.

Great small, local pub. We had the double smashburger, That's My Boy Pizza, and Mastiff fries (with cotija on the side). Everything was great! I loved the "fries." The harissa aioli was unique in a good way. The young woman at the counter tonight was super friendly and pleasant to interact with. I'm glad we stopped by.

I've had this place on my list for years and I'm glad I finally came in to try it. The service was great and the bartender was so nice and patient and helped me with suggestions on beer and a slice of pizza. Sometimes when you go somewhere new, you don't know where to start. The food was good, the beer was cold, the service was great. The bar isn't too big, but it is a nice place and great spot for locals. I'd recommend.

Mastiffs is one of our favorite spots for game days! During big games, like the playoffs, or upon request, they'll play the game with audio, which is a huge plus. The staff is always very friendly. Our go-to order is the weekend special, a smasher burger and a glass of beer for $15. The smasher burger is perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. This last visit, I ordered the potato wedges as a side, and I'm honestly not sure why I hadn't tried them sooner. They were incredibly flavorful and delicious.

Came here a second time. Burgers and pizza still slap! This time we came for lunch and holy cow their lunch specials are fantastic. Same for their regular specials. Chill spot to catch a game and have some solid food with friendly service. This place is perfect if you want to hang out with your boys, stop and watch a game as a family, or just chill with friends.

Went back tonight for Tuesday $5 pint night and tried the KAC Salad and Hot Hawaiian pizza (we subbed jalapeños for the ham). Both were seriously delicious. Pint night with the Padres game on made it even better! If you're looking for a more filling salad, go with the KAC over Caesar!

Great local spot that's family friendly serving American food. Not quite the place I'd recommend if you were wanting light, healthy entrees. Came to celebrate a birthday and everyone enjoyed their food as well as their beer selection. The seating is tight but I get it, there's not really other options. They have a small parking lot, but I generally find street parking fairly easily. Staff taking our order was friendly, but we didn't have much interaction outside of the order.

This is a nice little sports bar. Ton of tap options for beer, the food was flavorful, service was great. I'm all about those honey garlic fried wings. Need to return just for those. They had a decent sports bar set up for the World Series.

Came to San Diego for a grad my friend decided he wanted a beer! He recommended this spot as it's his usual go to. This place is similar to a sports bar but with great food! I haven't had deep dish pizza since Chicago because I love Chicago pizza in Chicago, sorry CA. I was hesistant on trying the pizza here but it was damn good. The pizza was rich in flavor and 10/10. The drink I got was fruity and paired well with the pizza. I wished for the first time I was a local so I could come here as well! Service was awesome we got a large water for all of us to drink from and staff was friendly and accommodating. The actual area was a chill vibe, somewhere people come on any day to eat some good food and have a drink. Also reasonably priced. Definitely a spot I will return to.

Mastiff nailed it! The double smash burger was hands down the best I've ever had. The patty was crispy, perfectly seasoned, and exactly what I was craving. The 4 cheese pizza was so good even my picky 5 year old said she wants it every day (wow!). My husband loved the pig fries. It was super tasty and the smartly cut potatoes made it easy to scoop up all the toppings. Solid all around. We'll definitely be back!

They offer great combo deals. You can do a whole pie or grab combos like one slice with a soda, two slices with a soda, or two slices with a beer. Solid value. For under $20, I got two slices of pizza and a craft beer. Their craft beer selection is awesome and definitely a highlight. I ordered two slices: *Surf Rider: Their most popular and classic pizza. The New York-style crust was phenomenal, but for my taste there were way too many chunks of garlic. *Basil Pesto & Ricotta: Again, great New York-style crust. I wish they added pepperoni to this one. The ricotta flavor was pretty subtle so while it was a nice pizza, it didn't really stand out. The space itself is great with indoor seating plus two large outdoor seating areas, complete with TVs for sporting events. Dogs are allowed, which is a nice bonus. They even give out dog treats at the counter. There's only street parking, but I still found a spot just a few minutes away. Overall, this is a cute spot with amazing New York-style crust, which is my favorite. The employees were very friendly, and it took less than five minutes to order and have the slices ready. They even brought them out to me. While the crust was excellent, the overall flavor of the pizzas didn't quite hit for me. Still a solid place, especially if you're big on crust and craft beer.

First of all, I've not really been a huge deep dish fan. And these are hefty pies! But once you let your teeth sink into a slice, you are delighted by the crunch and crispness of the edges and yet the delicate lightness of the dough in the middle. How does he do that? It's not heavy. But it's thick on flavor. The classic is the pepperoni, with or without jalapeños (for those who like some heat). Those lil' meat discs are fired to perfection w/ a perfect toasty crunch. That's how I like it. So good. The marinara is just right for me. It's not overflowing and trying to cover up anything. But the spices and combo are well balanced. Ok now, you gotta try a specialty pie. They are orderable on certain days depending on what sources are available that week. Or whatever is cooked up in the chef's mind! I think my fave is the Best Spud (seasoned potatoes, 3 cheeses, black garlic miso ranch, gojugaru and chives...) and w/ a bacon option! We have ordered delivery (DoorDash or Localby Toast) and we've ordered online and picked up at the window, and since Hoffers Cigar Beer & Wine Bar opened a couple weeks ago, we've ordered online and they deliver it right to our table next door! It's such a convenient set up for a relaxing evening. Pierre's hours are 5pm to whenever they sell out. And only Wednesday to Sunday. Pierre's is a family business and right now is working inside of Public Square Coffeehouse which is also their family business. So, if you want to go there, go to Public Square and you'll be home! You can enjoy your pizza on site at a sidewalk table or a cozy table inside. It's seriously, worth every penny. Honestly, it felt like the restaurant was magically reserved just for us. Cozy, romantic, and straight out of an Italian dream The decor is unreal. Vintage and wildly creative in the best way. There's a cork ceiling feature in the center, floral wallpaper that feels like a European café, chalk drawings of famous Italian landmarks, glowing green glass bottle lights that double as art, and, wait for it, an actual old Vespa sitting proudly inside the restaurant. It's whimsical, nostalgic, and charming without trying too hard. My husband chose this spot specifically for their cheese wheel pasta, and WOW was that the right call. The cheese is imported straight from Italy, and Monday is their famous cheese wheel night (10/10 recommend). The pasta changes weekly, but ours came with sage and wild mushrooms and tasted like an elevated, sophisticated fettuccine Alfredo. Rich, creamy, aromatic, and indulgent without being heavy. It felt fancy in the best ways without being pretentious. I ordered the short rib gnocchi, and while I personally wished the gnocchi was a touch less al dente, the flavors absolutely delivered. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, deeply savory, and perfectly paired with the sauce. Great comfort food on a rainy night. And now... let's talk about the real star of the night: THE GARLIC BREAD. We ordered TWO because it was genuinely the best garlic bread we've ever had. Perfectly toasted on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, seasoned to absolute perfection. Surprise: it's drizzled with their house-made balsamic vinaigrette. I didn't know I needed balsamic on garlic bread until this moment in my life. I will never be the same. The service was just as delightful as the food. We drink a lot of water, and for funsies our waitress brought refills in different whimsical containers -- including a literal glass fish We were cracking up the whole time. Attentive, playful, and warm service that made the night feel special instead of rushed. This is officially one of our favorite Italian restaurants. We wished we lived closer, but even with an hour drive in the rain, it was 100% worth it. Romantic, cozy, creative, and absolutely delicious. Come hungry. Order the cheese wheel pasta. Or try any of their weekly specialty days. Do not skip the garlic bread. Trust me.
