If you love bar food I recommend Mastiff Kitchen! Keep in mind seating and parking are limited. Went on a weekend and the restaurant was fairly busy, luckily seating was available so that wasn't an issue. Decided to order their smash sliders, Hot Hawaiian crispy pan pizza nad the crispy brussel sprouts. The pan pizza is HEAVY so be prepared to get full fast. My favorite dish were the smash sliders, nice and crispy edges with a delicious melted cheese. The crispy brussell sprouts were interesting I was not expecting the maple sauce. Usually 5-star and I hate this because I love this place. Monday is happy hour all day and that's great. We had the HH Mastiff Fries, chicken wings and two slices of the burata pizza. The food was stellar as always. The service was great. What was not great was the fries came out and about 5 minutes later the wings came out (my order) and 10 minutes after that the pizza came out (my boyfriends order). He had to watch me eat (or I let me food get cold) and then I had to watch him eat. Always better to have all the food come out at the same time. I tried the velvet glow and really enjoyed it. It is a light Russian beer. Now, I came here for the food. And it by far exceeded my expectations. I should've taken pictures of the food, but it was devoured so fast. I did not have a chance. I ordered the special chicken pot pie and it had the flaky crust only on top, but it was flavorful and good and very hot. We also ordered three Smashburger sliders, which were the hit of the table. The flavor along with the grilled onions was incredible. It had a garlic brioche bun to tie it all together. We also ordered a bratwurst sandwich. That one was the least favorite, but still good. There was a bit too much sauerkraut on it. But it was served with something very unique called crisps that have aïoli sauce on them and are nice and spicy with a good kick. We were really excited to try this place after checking out the website and menu, but the experience was disappointing. There was a party of 4 ahead of us waiting to order, and for over 7 minutes, no one acknowledged them or us, despite employees at the bar and in the kitchen clearly seeing everyone waiting several times during that period. I asked the party ahead if they had been helped, and they said no. Eventually, a man from the party ahead went up to the bar to speak to the employee. He stood there for over 30 seconds while the employee was interacting with another customer at the bar, then watched the employee walk to the order area without acknowledging him, leaving the man visibly confused. The employee later told the group to sit down and order. A woman from the party responded that they were ready to order, which was understandable given they had already been waiting for over 7 minutes and had more than enough time to look over the menu. The employee began taking the order while they were standing there but then walked away mid-order to get the man's beer. When the employee returned with the beer, he appeared confused and could not find the man who ordered it, even though the man had been standing there the entire time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Between the repeated lack of acknowledgment, the cleanliness issues, awkward service, and the overall disorganized and uncomfortable atmosphere, we decided to leave while still hungry.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The experience was disappointing and a waste of time. This is an excellent place to come and enjoy lunch, early dinner, or dinner. They have daily lunch specials as well as TVs and ample seating for about 35 people. I ordered the chicken, bacon, ranch salad, and a mimosa and my friend ordered the KAC Salad with wine. We shared the skillet brownie a la mode dessert, which was perfect. I really enjoyed my salad and my mimosa. Everything just tasted perfectly and was very well prepared. My friend didn't like her salad only because she's not a sweet and savory person she would just rather have savory. So she went ahead and sent it back and they were very sweet and kind about getting her a new salad. They have good customer service here and the vibe is really nice and calm and relaxed.
