Now that's what I'm talking about! 4.5/5! Ended up coming back out to Clem's to give it another shot. Although my last visit wasn't bad, it was just middle of the road and left me wanting more-especially in regards to the Wagyu burger and the bacon. This time around, I decided to switch it up a bit. As we arrived, I ordered my current favorite beer on tap, Coco Ono, from Bay City Brewing. It's a piña coloda IPA that's not too sweet, and has great coconut flavor. Moments later I realized that there was a Taco Tuesday special that was $15 for 2 tacos a draft beer of your choosing. Since the Coco Ono is $9 alone (ouch!), I realized it was a better deal to get the Taco Tuesday special. I asked Karina if I could turn that draft I ordered into the special, and they kindly obliged...nice! The last time I was here, I noticed some wings coming out of the kitchen and they looked awesome. So this time I knew I had to get the wings, $16. I ordered a 9 piece of Buffalo wings, per staff recommendation, and they did not disappoint. We actually got 10 piping hot wings served with stacks of baby carrots, fresh cut celery, and both ranch and blue cheese. I'd love to see them do a homemade ranch because it would better compliment the wings than that Hidden Valley stuff. Wings were a 5/5!!! I forgot to even mention the tacos. That's probably because I forgot about them...lol. While the small TJ tacos had some solid carne with onions and cilantro, they were a bit plain. Served on two tortillas with 2 salsas, and 2 limes, a little bit of guac would have livened them up. I probably wouldn't order them on their own at $3 each, but as part of the $15 deal, it was all good. 4/5 for the deal. Lastlly, we ordered the BBQ chicken pizza, which was a HITT!. I had previously tried a few slices of pepperoni pizza last time, and it was a good snack to have with some brews, but nothing memorable. However this time, the BBQ Chicken pizza was up there with my favorite one in town. It was covered with loads of chicken, which they stated was cooked in-house, cilantro and BBQ sauce. The crust did look like it was a little over baked, but it ended up having a perfect under crust with zero burnt flavor. Only the outer crust was ultimately effected and got a bit crackery. All in all it was a really delicious pie. All the while Karina and Emma were answering my many questions, tapping off our drinks, and providing pretty much anything we asked for. The food presentation was great, the restaurant was immaculate, and the service was friendly, all giving an overall 5 stars. Thanks to Emma, Karina, Paul, and the kitchen staff for making this a delicious evening. I'll definitely be back for the pizza and the wings. read more

Clem's Station is located in the neighborhood of Talmadge located on Monroe and Euclid. This restaurant/bar is a hidden gem and a must try if you're in the neighborhood. Clem's has so much variety of beer, wine and all alcohol. In the past I've had their dirty martini and it was amazing. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and it was seasoned perfectly with minced bell peppers and grilled onions. This plate was generous in size and definitely can be shared. This bar is great if you want to bring your dog because they have a nice patio with plenty of seating. Also, plenty of TVs located inside and outside if you want to watch a sporting event. Last, the service was fantastic and they definitely made you feel like a valued customer. We stopped in after the gym to share nachos and margaritas. This tiny bar only has a few seat seats inside and a few seats on the patio, but it is really a beautiful space. There are walls of every alcohol you can imagine, several big screen, TVs, And a really nice neighborhood vibe. Service was great and very friendly. The drinks were also great; this was the best margarita I've ever had! I got it spicy, and it was perfect. The food was okay. The tater tots were really well seasoned, actually, and might've been my favorite part of the meal, which I didn't expect! The wagyu sliders didn't taste wagyu-y (just your usual ground beef flavor) and had a few too many red onions, but I just picked some off. The nachos were a little bland. But honestly, we didn't mind, because the overall atmosphere and vibe was fun and it was just fine for a snack. We will definitely be back to this little neighborhood spot to see if there are some bites on the menu we enjoy more and for margaritas for sure!! read more

Love this place for food and drinks so decided to try out the coffee they are now serving. The pumpkin pie latte didn't really have much of a pumpkin taste but it was still a good latte in general. Awesome local hideaway in a residential neighborhood where you can watch the game and get some reasonably priced drinks and good eats. I went up and around the hill through a narrow hill road, past some houses, then went up and around the hill again and then there it was, Clem's Station, at a meeting point three roads, wedged between houses and various apartment buildings. Philly Cheese Steak w/ Fries and Tots - Clem's cheese steak feels slightly smaller, like 90% the size of cheese steaks that I have at other places, but it's still filling nonetheless. Buttery, grill toasted bread filled with with a ton of meat, provolone and bell peppers. It was wonderful. If you feel there's too much meat or too dry, you can add some of the orange sauce they provide, but the sandwich is robust and perfectly fine without it too. I asked if the fries or tots were better and my server said, "Both are good. You know you can order a mix and have both?" So what did I do? This fatty here had both. And there was no extra charge! They are both good and they put so much of it on the plate. Whiskey Sour - My whiskey sour was served with a large cube, a fresh lemon peel and they used Four Roses Bourbon as their well whiskey for this which was fine by me. This was well balanced and tasty. I wanted more but I had a long drive ahead of me. Clem's felt like a secret awesome find. Both servers checked on me multiple times, the food came out quickly, they have a lot of TVs and they have a impressive liquor library wall behind the bar. It's too nice and new to be divey but not snooty enough or expensive enough to be hipster. If you live near here, why have you not checked them out yet? read more

This is truly a gem in the Kensington Talmadge College area. Very interesting mix of craft beers wine, spirits along with great bar food. I came in for a pint and pizza in a pinch over the holidays. The craft draft I had was excellent and the staff was very attentive to everyone. This spot totally reminded me of a modern Cheers or Friends vibe without even trying. I've driven by this place several times and thought it was just a "hole in the wall" bar but I was pleasantly surprised when I entered. Interior is really cute and there is a great selection of wines, beers, and spirits. The menu is simple, with appetizers, pizzas and a few desserts. For "bar" food, I gotta say that it's pretty good. "Let's meet at Clem's!" I was at work and got this message, and as I was driving away from campus, this came in... "The new one on Monroe!" 0-o* So I went down Monroe, and there it was. The former wine bar, which another review stated was "elegant and sophisticated..." yet he failed to mention that some of the people that worked at Homeo and Foolieta were a little racist...but they're gone so YAY for all! GREAT place to grab a drink and catch up with friends or watch a game! They have a full bar, great beers on tap, and some really good wines! I met up with my bestie and we were told it was taco Tuesday, so when at Clem's. I had the shrimp tacos and they were soo good! And they used large shrimp not those little whimpy ones. We were so hungry, we forgot we were going to share because she got the carne ones. We then ordered some really crispy fries! Sooooo good! Of course, I'm a fatty, so I ordered the western bacon burger with cheddar and tater tots. The burger was really good! Came with an onion ring and barbeque sauce...soooooo good! I live in Kensington and am a very long time patron of Clem's Bottle House and Clem's Tap Room. We finally got over to Clem's Station and it did not disappoint...loved it. Cool spot, nice outside area and charming bar area. I had the BLT and my husband had the cheeseburger with Impossible Meat. Both were perfect and came with a generous amount of fries / tater tots. I love onion rings so will be trying those on my next trip. All of the Clem's locations have super friendly staff, are locally owned and full of friendly people from Kensington, Talmadge and the surrounding areas. I had been wanting to try this place out for a while since I moved to the area and finally came by today, and I'm so glad I did! The bar itself is quite tucked away has a cute patio and a beautiful interior. Their liquor selection is seriously impressive. My fiancé and I came in for happy hour and our drinks were fabulous! Just had basic mixed drinks but April is a fantastic bartender and made them perfectly. We got the chicken tenders to snack on and they were delicious.
