Rosemarie's Buns & Brews may be small and cute, but wow--what it lacks in size it more than makes up for in flavor and service. The place was busy when we arrived, so we grabbed seats on their little patio, which ended up being perfect. The service was friendly and welcoming from start to finish. I ordered the eggplant sliders, my husband got the Little Munchies and the Rosiemac sliders, and we shared the spicy elote fries. OMG--those fries were heaven. So, so, so good. Everything came out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Zero complaints across the board. Highly recommend, and we would 100% return the next time we're in town!

Rosemarie's Buns & Brews is in a class of its own! Voted the best sliders in San Diego- and for good reason! These little masterpieces are packed with tons of flavor! For starters, we ordered the spicy elote fries! They were fire! We love Mexican street corn, but this was next level! The charred corn and chipotle aioli, topped with pickled peppers and cotija cheese, on a bed of crispy fries offered a unique and delicious blend of flavors. My wife ordered The Classic and Little Sal. I ordered the Rosiemac and Little Munchies sliders. The patties were cooked to medium (just the way we like it), and the onion rings were meaty and extra crispy! Overall, service was great, and the vibe was chill and relaxed. Parking is a doozy! But that's to be expected due to it being located on a busy street!

Was so excited to try these burgers since I've heard nothing but good things. Made my way all the way there in mission beach, struggled to fund parking on a Sunday evening around 6:45 pm. We walked in and asked stood at the counter for a minute before any of the employees acknowledged us, then the girl at the register turned around and with a big smile on her face said "we're out of burgers tonight." We looked at her for a moment because we thought she was joking and then she said "yeah sorry". We thought she was joking because of the way she said it smiling but she was serious.. so then her tone was kind of rude.. it was uncomfortable the way we just stood there with the menus.. We sat down and skimmed the menu but decided we wanted burgers.. so we decided to leave. I think running out is a great sign for business but the way interaction and delivery of this bad news was uncomfortable and a bit contradicting.. I wouldn't go through the trouble of coming out here fighting for parking and trying again if especially if I'm risking them running out of burgers..

We stopped in for a mid day snack! I had the eggplant sliders and when I tell you, how savory this was! I did not regret not getting a burger, and I love burgers. The cabbage inside was such a nice touch! We also had the Big Ol Tasty Fries. Plenty to share! We sat at the outside patio and it's fun to people watch and enjoy the beach energy. The service was great, everyone was sweet and made great recommendations!

I understand the hype. These sliders are big. The original double thing will fill you up like a double quarter pounder with cheese. Patties here are so so so greasy. The meat however is pretty good quality. They taste like they were boiled in beef tallow then seared. They're missing some of that crisp isp to me. Rosemaries lends itself to the surrounding neighborhoods culture. Post surf post beer come grab a rich Lucious burger. Family wise though. Good lord this is for little chieftains only. They sort of messed up our order putting club sauce on everything (which we parents loved) they gave us 2 too many sliders and grease just slid everywhere down our arms and faces. Do not take these to the beach or eat them in your car unless you have a rinse kit after every bite. Totally get the vibe. This place is for 20 year olds. Rosemaries will light you up. For families... there are better places. Next time I come by I'll try the chicken or soft shell crab. Those look awesome.

Holy woooowv Nick!!!! You've crushed it with this place. The elote fries are a must. One of the best versions of fries I've had. The Rosie Mac is award winning and I can see why. It was amazing. Lastly had the Bombay chicken. Super unique and delicious. Great outdoor seating and local draft beers.

Good chicken sliders and sides, high cost and mediocre burger sliders. At $8.50 each, a single slider is ideally the price of a single full burger at another location. For a casual restaurant, $17 is a steep cost for a less than filling meal of two sliders. The sides are the star, and the paprika dusting on both the fries and onion rings added a nice rich flavor to both. The homemade ranch served with our sides also complemented the spicy chicken sliders nicely. We preferred the large, crispy chicken sliders to the disappointing burger sliders, which were nothing special. Located along busy Mission Blvd, it can be challenging to find street parking at Rosemarie's. The restaurant is dog friendly and the staff kindly brings your food to your seating location. We just prefer the flavor and cost of San Diego's many other burger places.

Tried this place based on Yelp reviews for the first time today and brought my two dogs. There was an exterior dining area off the sidewalk that is narrow and separate from the exterior/interior of the restaurant. Perfect for the dogs! I ordered the mahi Mahi and the Little Sal sliders and a small order of onion rings. There was plenty of onion rings for two to share! They were out of the soft shell crab so we went with the Rosie Mac and Nashville hot chicken. All four were delicious! The bread was overwhelming and not too thick. They also didn't cheat you on the meats. The flavoring of each slider was delicious and tasteful and seasoned just right. The little sal had a bacon jam type of spread on it which was really good! Would definitely return to try others or the same!

Came for the sliders and specifically the Cajun Soft Shell Crab for me. Tasty but a bit too saucy with the aioli. The Spicy Elote Fries were also very saucy to everyone's liking in my party of three. The fries did stay crispy but the pickled peppers and red cabbage overpowered the flavors of traditional elote roasted corn. Brushing them aside helped. I would come again but modify my order and ask for sauces on sliders to be on the side and try their onion rings. Service was prompt, friendly on a Friday at noon. But a line was forming as we headed out. We walked from Belmont Park so no issues finding parking.

Cute cute cute Little nice burger joint with cute little sliders that were good! Not much, was cared when I walked in with my party of 6 at lunch time on a Tuesday afternoon in the dead of summer. But we got a table and the staff was super patient and answering all our questions. What I was amazed at was the kids chicken...such a big portion and it was really good Check this place out

I had been waiting for our trip to San Diego to come to this spot and it was a huge disappointment. The sliders are underseasoned and the fish sandwich was salty. Be prepared to drop a pretty penny. An average of $25 a head for a single slider. The kids meal is a much better deal, same size and it comes with fries. The elote fries are different and not in a good way. If you like extra large slices of pickled jalapeños making your fries soggy along with canned corn then this is for you. The ambiance wasn't anything special, typical order on the counter and food is delivered to you. I'm not sure what made them too 100 spots to eat. Perhaps they used to be but not last weekend.

First time here, we ordered 2 sliders: Round Up, Classic Rosemarie. Plus a side of spicy elote fries. Spencer and staff were amazing-- definitely a must when you're in the area!

You can drive past this place and easily miss it, but it's worth finding a parking spot. You wait in line to order at the counter, take a number, and find a table. They only have 5 tables inside but also have patio and street seating. It's very casual. The staff was nice and efficient, from taking our order to taking away dishes when we were done. I think the food menu is great. Not that many choices but all of them sounds great. We settled on each getting a lil Sal and shared the bacon blue cheese fries. The sweet burbon sauce on the burgers was really good. The fry portion was huge and had a good amount of cause sauce and toppings. The beer list isn't extensive but they have a variety on tap and canned.

I'm just extremely disappointed with how poor my experience was today because I had only super positive experiences previously and was looking forward to dining there this morning after sometime away, but holy hell ....today's experience has been so profoundly bad. Firstly, my husband ordered two breakfast burritos - one with bacon and the other with bacon on the side. I'll chalk this one up to miscommunication, but they put bacon in one, and bacon in the other too - and then added bacon on the side to the other and charged us $5.50 for the extra bacon. Again, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt here and will be sure to communicate explicitly next time. They kindly made me a new one, but the new one had potatoes that weren't cooked thoroughly (likely to rush the food to me, so I acknowledge the difficulty here), however there was hardly any avocado. I literally had to complain again because I didn't believe there was any avocado at all. I wouldn't be as pissed if this weren't an EIGHTEEN DOLLAR breakfast burrito. Lastly, the coffee lids don't fit on the cups. We tried to put one on and ended up spilling the entire coffee. I chalked this up to an accident on our part, however another patron who observed our incident said "their lids don't fit the cup, right??" And I was like "oh so it wasn't just us??" And she was like "no, I almost spilled mine all over too." This random patron encouraged us to ask for a new cup of coffee as a result (thanks, random patron!). The Molly's team did kindly make us a new (albeit quite bitter) drink, which I appreciate. However, the lid was still an issue - it would spill out of the cup all over the rim between the cup and the lid when I'd try to take a sip, so I took off the lid entirely, but then was stuck with dealing with spills while walking around - I had to move at a snail's pace to prevent spills altogether. This was easier to deal with random leakage around the entire cup every time I'd sip with the lid on. Ultimately It was just a lose-lose with the ill fitting lid situation. All this to say - Molly's Team, yall were fantastic just a month ago. What happened? I understand food and services in the beach area stuff are often expensive and rarely good, but you guys are *too* expensive for this poor of service and quality. Two stars because at least the folks there are generally nice.

I had gotten something similar to an Espresso Martini, but the drink fell short in both the taste and the presentation. My beer battered fish tacos were good, but nothing extraordinary. I believed they lacked a bit of taste...perhaps seasoning? The jam burger on the other hand, extremely juicy and flavorful! The fries were nice and crispy & seasoned. Overall, the food and drink were a bit inconsistent, but it may also very well be the items I ordered. For that, I'm docking it one star, but again it may come down to my taste buds and previous items I've had from other grills. I'd definitely give it a try, again, and keep exploring their menu.

The obvious lots on either side are reserved for other businesses. Staff were very friendly - the perfect balance between helpful and leaving us alone. The only food complaint was the wings appetizer was a bit boring. Porkchop and cauliflower were cooked perfectly. Margaritas were good. Creme brulee dessert was perfect size for 2. I don't go to PB often and there's lots in this area but I'd consider going again. We thought the EDM playlist was unique and an unexpectedly good choice while still being plenty quiet for conversation.

I got their Patient Pisco Sour while my partner got the Pomegranate Mojito. The Pisco Sour definitely packed a punch! Quite strong, yet rich and palatable. The real star, however, was surprisingly the Pomegranate Mojito. Pomegranate happens to be one of my favorite fruits, and it's quite rare to find anything pomegranate flavored, let alone a drink! Tart and refreshing, this might just be my new go-to drinky drink.

I ordered a mahi mahi sandwich to take home, and it was excellent. As was the Ahi tuna. The ceviche looks bomb so that's next on my list. My server was top notch and friendly. The best time to go is during the week when it's more chill. The weekend can get crazy, but I've never had a bad experience here. I love that the owner is from MN and keeps true to his Midwest roots by serving fried cheese curds!

We got there for the start at 7:30 and the trivia was probably the best I have played. Fast and the host was great and it was over in two hours. We ordered a Cali' Cream pitcher of beer and after that a pitcher of Pizza Port IPA. $33 for the pitcher of Pizza Port "Ouch!" Seemed a little (Lot) steep. We also ordered a chips and salsa and the salsa was fantastic and the chips were warm. Really good. Nice atmosphere with a laid back group and our server was super cool. We really had fun, my only complaint would be the price of the Pizza Port Mongo beer. Next time I will try a taco on Taco Tuesdays, they had shrimp if I remember right.
