I honestly don't remember what was ordered, but everything was soo good amd flavorful! Portions were really big too! I think the only thing was the drink wasn't cold enough for me. But everything else hit the mark! &they have chalk to draw on the outside patio too!

Tried The Funky Frenchie and it definitely lived up to the hype. Got the chicken and waffles with their signature Frenchie-style waffles (shaped like little dogs), and it was both fun and actually really good. The waffles were soft on the inside with a nice crisp on the outside, and the powdered sugar + syrup combo hit perfectly. The fried chicken was juicy, crispy, and seasoned really well. Also tried one of their savory dishes and it did not disappoint--everything tasted fresh and well put together. The vibe inside was clean and chill, and the presentation alone makes it worth coming. Great spot for brunch or if you're trying something a little different.

Good was good. Mom and pop shop. Not sure how long they have been here but seems new. I'd eat that Philly cheesesteak again lots of extras and all seasoned to perfection. My daughter loves her burger and she is picky. Fries were excellent. I do wish they had a homemade ranch for the fries. I hope they add AC or a fan because it was a bit warm inside and we were looking to cool down. I had their specialty lemonade with several fruit juices. It looked awesome but was a bit sweet and for sure needed to be colder.. please bring drinks out faster on a hot day. They have inside and outdoor patio searing. It is in a small strip mall so parking was super limited. Cute decor and the guy who took Our order was super friendly. But the place only has 2-3 employees so not very speedy. Place was clean. Restroom was tiny and in the employee area. But we were happy they had one or we would have left since we had just come from a soccer game. I am glad I walked to the restroom with my daughter.

This is a nice family owned breakfast and lunch restaurant in Lemon Grove. It recently took over a long time deli in the area. I came in for breakfast and ordered their house breakfast burrito for $13 plus tax. The burrito came on a sun-dried tomato and red pepper flour tortilla, and came filled with scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, and cheddar Jack cheese. I liked that they toasted the tortilla well on the hot griddle after they wrapped the burrito. The eggs were well seasoned nicely, the bacon was tasty, and the hash browns were good. I would have liked a little more cheese in the burrito however. It was a very good breakfast burrito and I would order it again. They offer a good amount breakfast and lunch items, not to mention coffees and a handful of signature French Toasts. There's parking right out front and more in the back. The service was welcoming and friendly. This is a nice addition to the city of Lemon Grove.

This is a great breakfast place if you're in the Lemon Grove area. You can find free parking in front. You can eat either inside or outside. The staff was very friendly. You pay at the register when you're finished. We ordered breakfast burrito, tiramisu toast, and funky lemonade. The breakfast burrito was pretty tasty and a good size. I loved dipping the burrito into the sauce. The tiramisu toast wasn't too sweet and is good if you don't want something savory. I recommend getting the funky lemonade. It's strawberry, mango, peach lemonade and it's very refreshing. Prices were very fair.

The newly opened Funky Frenchie in Lemon Grove is a must-visit for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Expanding from their Harbor Island location, this spot features free front parking, hip music, and both indoor and outdoor seating. The heart of the shop is the father-son owner duo, who are as welcoming as the food is delicious. Top Picks: * Vanilla Cappuccino: Smooth, balanced, and high-quality. * Berry Banana French Toast: Incredibly filling and flavorful. current promotion: if you bring in your Frenchie, you'll get a serving of their famous Frenchie mini waffles! Great vibes and even better food--definitely give them a try!

Been here a couple times and the service is great. Breakfast items are decent and they put their own twist on some of the traditional breakfast items. Place is nicer than the outside looks. Dogs welcome and they have treats for dog and water dishes. Overall a new spot that is going the extra mile to get your business place is with giving a shot.

Friendly and prompt service. Really good Vibes! We ordered the Ruben and Buenos Dias BLT brunch sandwich. Both were perfectly cooked and delicious! 10/10 recommend.

What a nice place. This is family own/operated, and it is obvious they really care to make our experience there an excellent experience. We ordered an avocado toast and added egg on top. My friend and I were splitting the order and the dish came out already cut and beautifully presented so we could eat them using the sharing plates. We also ordered the pica salad and added grilled chicken on top. My friend was not sure about the flavor of the chicken, so when they realized that they quickly prepared another salad for us. We also got to try the strawberries and banana French toast which was beautiful and delicious. I will say they serve very nice hearty bread in their dishes, which the plasticware is not quite matched for. I would suggest just getting some better silverware that doesn't bend. I'm so glad to see this new business here in Lemon Grove and wish them success.

Cute little spot! Has indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy the weather. We walked right up to the counter and received quick service. Order three Philly and it was a beast! I will say it had some good flavor and super full!!

Food was really good and the staff is super friendly! The place is a little small but cute and they have dog friendly outdoor seating. I will be coming again and I will be recommending this place to my friends and family.

Art in the restaurant.

The mushroom gravy biscuits and gravy are top notch. They are directly next to the City Farmers so it nice to grab a coffee and supper both businesses.

The ONLY reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 (and I'm usually a 5-star/1-star girlie) is that we haven't seen Cari, one of our favorite servers, in either of our last couple of visits. Over a year ago now, Cari stepped UP when I became faint and almost passed out on Nate's front deck. It was a hot day, I am BAD at drinking water but great at sweating; and as I stood up, I turned paper white and the world got fuzzy. Cari swooped in the moment she saw what was happening - making sure I was safely lying down, getting me hand sanitizer for my forehead and a wet cloth for the back of my neck (rapid cooling!), and orange juice for my fluid imbalance. I'm so SO glad Cari was there to take better care of me than I take of myself. I miss our nerdy conversations, and hope she'll be back soon!

It was about 85 degrees out and no AC going so it did get pretty warm inside. There was only the entrance door propped open for air. Just a couple of burgers made on a grill with some sauce which were pretty tasty. Came with fries which were a bit over salted but tasty as well. The gentleman who made our burgers asked us if we enjoyed our meal before we left. He also mentioned that they make homemade pozole and menudo for breakfast on the weekends. Will definitely come back to try that and update my review. Their prices are pretty fair and glad to support a small business that is family owned.
