This is a great local breakfast spot. When you go inside, it feels like you walked into someone's house rather than a restaurant. The food was good and tastes home made. The service was alright, no complaints.

Mimosa flight...sorry I already started on it lol

I have to make a quick update bc it's been a while. The corned beef hash omelette is still phenomenal. Best pancakes around. The OJ is fresh squeezed. You get actual real maple syrup. All with super friendly service in a cozy grandmas dining room kind of vibe. Oh also mimosas and Bloody Mary's.

Charming with tasty food - clearly a fun staple in the neighborhood for years, and hopefully more years to come. I love pancakes and relish just how many different varieties they have. Really enjoyed the chocolate chip pancakes today! And very much appreciate the bottomless hot chocolate, a personal favorite of mine anywhere.

Everything we ate was really good . Chocolate pancakes , pigs in a blanket , Dutch pear pancake egg Benedict Florentine . Service was friendly and fast

Great breakfast! The buttermilk pancakes are a great texture and flavor. The eggs cooked well to order. The green chili omelet was ok, but wouldn't order it again. Wasn't a fan (not enough addins and unsure aboit the baked omelet). Loved the Crispy bacon. Even the strawberry jam for the toast was very tasty. Saw a Dutch pancake - next time for sure!

I've driven past this place a zillion times, and finally made my way in to try it out for breakfast. The orange juice was great-very fresh! I ordered the strawberry crepes and they were good. Not the best I've ever had, but they were good. My dad ordered the chocolate chip pancakes and said they were pretty good too. The service was just okay.

    Checking this place out.

The food was great! They offered a lot of food for a reasonable price. Great service, food and atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Service was pretty good, coffee was tasty, but the food was insanely overpriced and very mid. I still can't believe they're charging $17 for a single waffle with some strawberries with no meat side. Every other restaurant I have ever been to for breakfast would include a side of bacon or sausage with a waffle. And the sausage scramble with ground sausage was really bizarre. Zoom in on that picture. Were the eggs powdered? Why are they little pellets like the ground sausage? It tasted ok but looked really unappetizing, like the whole thing was curdled. We won't be back.

    Not cooked right

The food was made poorly. My husband steak was not cooked right. I got a rotten strawberry and pancakes look like they were made by a kid. Too pricy for the food they made

We walked in, Monday, and were seated immediately. The host took our drink orders. Let me tell you, the coffee was outstanding! The waitperson took our food orders and brought out all the accompanying goodies to go with our food. I had the senior French toast with strawberries and a scrambled egg. The portion size was generous but the taste was outstanding! My spouse got homemade corn beef hash with a perfectly cooked over easy egg. For his side, pancakes were chosen. I tasted the hash -- it's one of the best I've ever eaten. The ambiance is like a cute diner and every staff person was sweeter than the last. If I could give more stars, I would!

I was on my way to church and needed an early cup and was surprised how many shops were not open at 7 AM. I'm sure I could have found a Starbucks but that's always reserved for a last resort. Big props to this spot being open early on a Sunday morning, so I could make it to church prayed up and fully caffeinated. The barista opened right on time (7 AM) I loved how friendly she was for it being that early, and she got me my drink within 3-4 minutes. I am not a big coffee drive-thru guy, but if I lived in the area, especially knowing it is veteran owned, I might become one. Thanks guys and best of luck!

I've had Red White and Badass Brew one other time after my husband raved about this cookies and cream latte he got here. It's a small, local, veteran owned shop, which honestly makes supporting it feel even better. So, I thought getting his favorite drink would help, but turns out that was a seasonal winter drink... please bring it back, it was sooo good. I got in line around 8:30 and there were two cars in front of me. This place is so small and cute, I actually used to work in one of these drive-thru kiosk style cafes so I didn't mind the short wait at all as usually its only one or two people working in there. I do wish they had a menu visible from the line because I couldn't decide what I wanted while waiting. The only things visible were the specials like an avocado toast and a "no lucks given" drink. I ended up pulling up the menu on my phone which works, but it would be more convenient if they had something displayed out front like a sandwich board or something. The employee was incredible, super friendly, my order was taken quick and my drink came out even quicker. It is a little on the pricier side for a cup of coffee but you are supporting a local business. With tip it came out to over $9 for a regular size. I ordered the no lucks given, which is a chocolate Irish cream latte, and swapped to oat milk. My first sip was amazing, a medium dark roast that wasn't bitter at all with a rich chocolate flavor. You could see the chocolate coating the walls of the cup and I'm pretty sure there was a cold foam on top that made it extra creamy. The overall drink was smooth and well balanced, just a little too sweet for my liking but that's something I can adjust next time. I did have a kind of odd moment though. My second sip was great until I got hit with a sudden punch of salt. Like a full on salt crystal just melted on my tongue for a good 10 seconds. It was strong and definitely woke me up... which I guess is what the coffee was supposed to do, I just didn't expect a surprise salt bomb to help with that. After that I checked my drink and everything looked fine and the rest of it tasted great. Overall I'll definitely be back. The service was great, the drink was solid, and I love supporting a spot like this. I can't wait to come here more often, and hopefully one day come back with my husband when comes home from deployment, with his cookies and cream drink back on the menu.

I was very surprised at the amount of options that they had here. The menu had breakfast, lunch, American, Mexican, and even a couple of surprising options. I was impressed because they even had like Old School shakes and smoothies and delicious coffees that you could choose from. We were seated in a two seater next to the wall in. It was really cute the time we came for this visit. Although it was after Christmas, they still had very nice Christmas decorations up on the walls. I loved this! We ordered our food and it came out within about 10 minutes cooked fresh. I went for the black tea, and I'm glad that I did. My husband went for the hot herbal tea. Everything tasted great in the customer service here is phenomenal. We were greeted upon arrival. We were waited on with the great attitude. Our server even answered any questions that we had about the menu and what they had to offer she was kind, and polite. There were other customers there, and I figured that they were regulars. They have an outside patio that you can sit in, and I like that because I saw a lot of groups meeting for lunch so that was cool to see. Overall, this was a great visit and I'm glad that we found Shirley's. Apparently my husband has been coming here for some time, but this was my first experience and I really enjoyed it. Thanks!
