My favorite spot for Filipino food. Everything is hot and fresh and portion sizes are huge. The only meat option you can select that isn't massive is a skewer, but theyre worth it. They smoke them directly outside and they're packed with flavor. Today I ordered a K2 plate with half rice and. Half pancit, lechon, and a bbq pork skewer. Every plate also comes with a cup of their sinigang soup (which you may need to remind them to give you). Ambiance could use improvement but this place is authentic and not trying to be anything boujie. Service is nothing to be excited about. Sometimes you have to ask specifically for the sauces or dips that come with items. Prices may seem steep but when you take the portion sizes into account, it's fair.

Came here to get some pancit. The inside is very large and there is ready made food for you to order. The service was incredibly friendly. There is plenty of seating for any party size. Overall very good experience.

We came here for dessert, but I really want to try their plates now that I've been inside and looked at their menu. They are located in a plaza type spot that's probably seen better days, BUT that means it's a hole in the wall type spot, right? We go in and there is a table full of aunties and uncles who are all just vibing and have all ordered halo-halo, which means you know it's good. I got a scoop of pandan ice cream for $2.16, and I was pleasantly surprised at how much ice cream I got! The ice cream was delicious, creamy, with bits of like jelly mixed in, and not too heavy. I would definitely go back if possible. Also, the lady who was running the dessert section of the restaurant was really efficient at getting orders out. I wanna go back and try the other ice cream flavors now.

Wanted to try this spot after watching a TikTok and man it was soo delicious! The owner attended us and he was super nice, really down to earth! The ambience felt very family like and friendly! We got a plate with three entrees including fired rice, pancit, lechon, sigsig, pork adobo, and a chicken bbq skewer, as well as a halo halo with ube ice cream. Everything tasted homemade and was hot! My favorite was the pansit! We will definitely be coming again and highly recommend others to give it a try!

Kujo Eats is serving a different variety of Filipino food on my second visit. AMBIANCE No frills SERVICE Pickup order - staff knew the drill. FOOD 4.5/5 Pork Menudo with Rice: thick, chunky, savory and comforting with a rich seasoning and saucy tomato base. There were also some Vienna sausages alongside the pork chunks and diced potato's, carrots, and peppers. This dish pairs well w white rice. 4/5 Munggo Guisado (mung bean stew): flavorfully pungent, with an earthy nutty mung bean mush that's quite filling ?/5 Sinigang soup broth: a savory and very sour tamarind broth with some veggies and pork. I didn't use this quite right, and will try to rotate between this dish as a palate cleanser or with bites of rice.

This was my first time trying Kujo Eats and it was average Filipino food. We came around 11AM and ended up getting the 2 entree with garlic rice. We chose longanisa and lechon kalawi for the entrees. We were able to get a small scoop of garlic rice until they ran out and filled our plate with regular white rice. We also got fresh bbq skewers. Our plate came with a complimentary cup of sinigang which was nice. The bbq skewers were our favorite, they were big, juicy and delicious and would definitely get again! The rest of the food was decent and a bit cold and didn't seem fresh. Also, I love my sinigang sour but this was REAL sour lol. Service was good and the cashier was very friendly and helpful. It's very chill inside but also not too many tables.

I placed an order using the app that offers discounted meals to reduce food waste. I was pleasantly surprised by my goodie bag. A variety of dishes were packaged with a well-sized portion. The staff members were friendly and quick to serve. I ordered a halo-halo on the side just to try and it was tasty. I would order here again.

If you were in search of Filipino Hawaiian food you have found your place. Kujo Eats offers a great variety of yummy food. I also ordered the Halo Halo and took it home. That was the first time I've had Halo Halo. Kujo Eats is a family restaurant, and they also offer karaoke a few nights a week. The service was friendly and very welcoming

My boyfriend and I like eating here since they have a lot of variety of Filipino foods. Today I give KUJO EATS four our of five stars since the cashier who was an old lady didn't know how to accept cash payments along with a debit card. I'm sorry to say but if you're going to have a business you need to properly train your employees how to operate a cashier register before they operate the cash register alone. Please understand how frustrating that would be if you were the customer.. Make sure to add your phone number at the register so you can earn points for every purchase towards either small halo-halo or a scoop of their Magnolia Ice Cream.

Ordered through the "Too Good To Go" app just to try something new and we are sooooo happy we did. Portions are insanely large for what we paid for, and special shout out to their sinigang. Loved the tangy sourness of this soup on top of the delish boxes they packed for us. Wish I knew the names of the dishes but my favorites were everything in the left box but you can't go wrong!! Definitely looking to come back to try more and learn all the names of what I am eating. SO GOOD.

Finally returned to try the food!! Its been over a year since having Halo Halo here. Three of us came for lunch and the place was packed!! The ambiance is simple table and chairs w a big screen tv playing Filipino Artists! Order at the steam table/counter and pick your food. Friendly service and good Filipino food!! The fried fish was dry but had flavor. The longonesa was flavorful and tender! The beef steak was delicious!! In a flavorful sauce and the beef fell apart. The pork adobo was in a great abobo sauce! The pancit was simple but seasoned well! I encourage patronizing local family run businesses/restaurants, and I highly Recommend trying Kujo Eats for Filipino food and desert. Corn Cheese Ice Cream is a must try!!! YES it has corn and cheese. But Filipinos love corn cheese! Give it a try!

GUT BUSTING (4 stars) I felt like I left a Filipino Party and a Tita packed you way too much left over that could last you DAYS. TGTG Surprise bag for $6.99 was very much with the gut busting. I didn't know what to expect except on TGTG app it received a high rating and high ratings on that app means lots of food. What I was surprised was to see a Filipino restaurant participate in that program - so I had to see what it was about and show support. They usually have about 5-6 Surprise Bags available on TGTG daily and on weekends they do sell out fast. Pickup time was between 7-730. Upon arrival the bags were laid out on the table and after showing them the app order I was told to select one of the bags. What I was told the most part each bag had the same things BUT some slightly differed. When u got home and opened my surprise bag I sure was surprised! (2) Suman (1) Cup of Pork Sinigang Chicken Pansit Chicken Adobo Chicken Curry (Pinoy-style) Overall the meal was tasty! This $6.99 is possibly the best budget meal to feed 2-3 people. Until the next Surprise bag!

My group was deciding on where to grab dinner, and one of the friends, Faith D., suggested coming here for a kamayan feast as many of us have never had nor heard of it before aside from the one who suggested it, me and Srey Y. The friend who suggested it said this restaurant does it best! It's located at the end of the Nordan Plaza next to a cafe and a thrift store on E 8th St in National City. There's a huge open parking lot with ample stalls. Upon entering the lot, my boyfriend and I were kind of confused if we were in the correct area because the area seemed dead which made sense as all the other places were closed and there were only two food joints at the corner of the plaza. Prior to coming, Faith made a reservation through their online form where she had to fill out the things we would like to have at our kamayan feast. The base pay is $49.95 per adult that included steamed rice, pansit, pork lumpiang shanghai, 2 seasonal fruits, 2 seasonal vegetables, tomato/onion salsa, sauces, and four selections of menu item. Additional items were $5 more per person. There were menu item upgrades as well. We had a total of five items with one being an upgrade item: pork kare kare, fried tilapia, BBQ chicken skewers, pork longanisa, and additional lechon kawali. Upon arrival, the workers were laying everything on banana leaves, and we had to eat with our hands, which was the traditional way. The feast was beautifully laid out (peep at pics)! We couldn't wait to feast! And everything was delicious! We all kept eating as much as we could with happy, content faces. My personal favorites were the lumpia, BBQ chicken skewers, and pork longanisa. The workers also provided a variety of sauces, some upon request, to use to dip our foods. After our kamayan dinner, we all decided to get a halo-halo as well as some of the group have never had it before. We could have added it to our kamayan feast for another $5 per person, but we realized it would be way too much food. My boyfriend and I shared a mini which was $5, the same price as if we were to add on. A huge plus was the availability of singing karaoke! The owner, Joel Soriano, was so kind to us and allowed us to sing karaoke while we waited for our feast to be prepared and after we finished. Probably because there wasn't anyone else in the restaurant when we went to annoy, haha! But thanks to Joel for the amazing service! Overall, a great kamayan experience for those who have never had it before! The food and service here was amazing and definitely worth the price per person as we all had leftovers to take home.

And most of the ones I have tried does not compare to moms cooking. Because of mom's health she no longer cooks.... Husband was so kind listening to my food cravings and doing research, he found this place. First, this place is located in strip mall mostly made of food stops. Secondly and importantly, the parking is no joke! Come early and watch where you park. The parking is not plenty and the area is narrow, making it a challenge to see when pulling in or out of a parking space. When you get out of your car your sensory will be on overload on the aromas that seem to hook you by the nostrils! You walk in the restaurant and you will see the tables most likely all taken. How it works is you walk up to food counter and select what items you want. They offer different platter options. It was a lot going on up the food menu on the wall above the staff. Behind the counter it is well staffed so even though the line may be long it moves pretty quickly. Husband and I decided to go with a two item platter. My platter I choose half and half (rice and noodles) . My two items were chicken adobo and diniguan. We got an order of lumpia too. I found the chicken adobo to be pretty good! The chicken portion was pretty good. With chicken adobo there seems never to be enough of the sauce to saturate the rice. The diniguan to my surprise passed the test! It was tasty and had the right balance of flavors! I saved half to share with mom and she liked just as well. A plus for us is they serve seltzer (soda water)! They do have a self serve water station off to the side. The lumpia was good, but I probably would try one of the skewers next time. I forgot to mention that we had to ask to share a space at a table with another couple as there were no more open tables. They gladly shared. There are not outdoor seating. I would definitely visit this spot again.

I really liked the bangus, they fried it and it's big and so fatty which I love but the only thing was, they don't have tomatoes that should go with it. After the bars close, I'll often hunt down a plate of sisig. And I'll follow any such meal with something sweet, like hopia, halo-halo, or anything ube. But I'm also a big fan of Filipino breakfast, and that's where Zarlito's comes in. I've never eaten there after 10 am, and while I'm sure I'm missing a lot of good stuff, I've been happy with the breakfasts I've been served, not least because the ladies running the place are kind, always seeming tickled to see a large white man enthusiastically chomping through plates of their food. Any -silog will do the trick. Zarlito's always offers great food at a decent price. I'm glad the place is still around, and whenever I'm in the area, I try to stop in. You should, too.

I haven't been to Zarlitos in so long, maybe even years and nothing has changed! I came in wanting…read morea simple Filipino breakfast and I found exactly that here! I walked in and the restaurant was pretty big inside with lots of seating and it was nicelt decorated. The host sat me right away and gave me a menu. I did have to ask for water though but that's okay because there were only two people working from what I could see and there were a lot of take out orders coming in. Initially, I asked for a small bowl of sinigan and they sais they only do large orders so i decided to skip it. I ordered the beef silog with a side of spam and lumpia. The beef was well seasoned but a little tough honestly, it was still really good the eggs were cooked perfectly, sunny side up and nice and runny. The garlic rice was a nice balance to the dish as well. The spam was cut at a decent thickness and added a good depth of flavor to the meal. And the lumpia was alao pretty good. Not the best I've ever had but still very enjoyable. Overall it was good ans worth a visit if youre looking for a nice homemade meal.

I saw that Lia's was going to be parked outside a coffee shop I love so I was excited for lumpia and my caffeine fix in one go. The truck was supposed to open at 11 but when we arrived at noon, they were just opening up. Obviously not ideal that they were an hour late but that meant we were 4th in line. We ordered the pork sisig and adobo lumpia and were told that it would be 20-25 minutes. Totally get that they're hand-rolled to order and that it's only one person. But if we're the 4th order, then you should have a decent idea of how long it's going to take you to prep and serve to set expectations accordingly. Over an hour later we got our food which was great - crispy and well filled. The garlic sauce was nice and punchy. The adobo was a little bland and didn't make a lot of sense with the sweet chili sauce. I think a traditional vinegar, garlic, and pepper dip would have been more true to the OG flavor. I'd rather be told it'll be an hour and then have it ready sooner if that manages to happen, but over-promising on the wait time is just a bummer. I'm not sure if I'd try Lia's again.
