I had two children with me who wanted to use their gift cards at this Starbucks location. When they went to order a refresher, the clerk told them they were out of syrup. My daughter then asked for two cups of water and was told they could not have water unless they purchased something. I've ordered here quite a few times and I never ever leave bad reviews but today was the last straw. I order for pickup and within 10 minutes of my order my girlfriend went to go pick it up. I ordered the Dubai chocolate iced mocha and there was literally barely any ice and the bottom of my cup was warm. I stirred it and mixed it together and my drink was chalky and extremely powdery. It's not good when my husband's asks me to yelp. That tells me your location deserves a bad review. Today he stopped by to get a blended strawberry lemonade his new favorite. Besides waiting about 20 mins to get one drink.. it came out as a regular strawberry acai refresher... so after waiting 20 mins he still had to wait for then to fix it. What did they do? I don't mind this location usually. I only stop here occasionally after dropping kids off at school if the drive through line isn't around the corner. It does seem to move slower here than Santee does. I always get the same drink (Venti Iced Black Tea, no sweetener, no water, light ice, add Strawberry Acai Base). 1). A few times I have come to this location and they don't fill the cup up all the way on the tea. I'm paying extra now for the added S/A Base and pay for a full cup. They leave the tea foam instead of filling it with the liquid... Last time was worse and asked them to top it off. Today, it was also not full, so I decided to leave a review. 2). The prices keep changing (I know this is not always location based, but...) They just upped the price on adding the S/A Base from $.50 to $1 started yesterday. They don't even put that much in there so it doesn't make sense to me why I would have to pay $1 now. But I would like a completely full cup when I buy. 3). Love my local Starbucks Store. This location is near me and I come here often for my cup of coffee. The staff are always so nice and personable. Sometimes the drive thru line can get long depending on the time you visit, but the staff always does a good job of keeping the line moving. My go-to drink is a brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso. The price of coffee has gone up recently and now my drink costs me $6.25 however I pay this because I enjoy this drink, the great customer service, and the convenience of grabbing my coffee on my way to work in the morning. Holidays can be crazy. I ordered 4 gift cards 20 each. There was a problem that 3 of the 4 had zero balance. Gifted them to only find out by the people I gifted them to. That is point i did not have the receipt. After dealing with customer service on the phone which was no help in the matter. I went back to the store 9760 Wintercrest Dr in Lakeside. So it's not too busy here and it does have a drive through. I had an awesome cashier who was super sweet and honestly what I love about Starbucks is their employees. Thank you again for the compliment on my engagement ring and hope your wedding will go well (shout out to the kind Starbucks employee). If I could give no stars I absolutely would. My husband and I go out for coffee every weekend, as I usually make it myself during the week we spoil ourselves on the weekend. However coming to this Starbucks is a serious disgrace. I dont understand how you can work at a coffee shop and not know a single thing on how to make a good cup of coffee. We both order a white chocolate mocha, mine is always regular and his has an added 3 shots of espresso and every time we decide to come here we are literally let down. We had one good day last weekend where it tasted good but I swear it's been 2 years and still sucks. Half the time our cups arent even full! Today mine was literally HALF GONE. we live right down the street and it takes a full minute to get home. There is no way it was filled with even whip cream or anything. Our sons hot chocolate this morning taste like water. The staff here are beyond rude, they purely lack personality and any sort of customer service skills, I myself have been in customer service manager for a consulting office and in the medical field for 10+ years now and I would fire someone in a heartbeat for treating customers the way your staff does. I called back this morning to tell them my drink was empty and she hung up on me, GREAT JOB! CORPORATE NEEDS TO RESTAFF AND RETRAIN THIS ENTIRE ESTABLISHMENT!!!!! I've been coming to this Starbucks for 3 years. It wasn't 4 since there was a year when I moved to Hawaii. When I left for Hawaii this establishment was going down hill. When I moved back to San Diego California, this place had finally hit rock bottom. "Do you know how to make coffee? No? That's okay you can wing it! Do you have good customer service? No? That's okay, the customers suck anyways! Are you ever late for appointments? Yes? That's okay, I like to sleep in too!" This is how I imagine the hiring manager speaks to the new associates during their job interview. The customer service at this establishment is SO terrible! The only person that I found in the many years coming here is a new associate by the name of Rachel who said she was a transfer. Let's hope that they don't ruin her customer service. Ashley, one of the supervisors, is absolutely a mean girl that you would find in high school. She's rude, won't look you in the eyes, won't smile at you and let's you know without saying a word, that she hates her life...and you! The drinks are never made correctly . Sometimes I feel like they run out of ingredients and they use replacements without letting you know. Don't worry , we can tell without your words! The lines are always terribly long at this establishment, no matter what time time is. Right off the freeway. Only reason I come here is for convenience. Went to this fucking location today at 12:50pm. I order the same drink every time. Trenta black tea lemonade with strawberry açaí base, 6 pumps vanilla, 4 pumps classic with strawberry purée. I know it's supposed to be red. The drink I got today was orange. I was nice about it before I got my drink and handed her my card I asked for a little mini cup half full of purée because I knew it didn't have it in it. I didn't even mind paying for the purée again because I just wanted my drink right. This bitch takes my card gives me my drink and comes back and proceeds to tell me she couldn't do that. Service. This is the Starbucks on Winter Garden. I ordered an ice mocha at the drive through and for the second time they gave me a white iced mocha not chocolate. I said this is incorrect. One thing I noticed about this Starbucks, is that it is a very busy location. Even though there was quite a line when I arrived, they still managed to get my order before I made it to the counter. I ordered their iced green tea. It was great as usual and refreshing. The employees were on their feet the whole time. The drive thru was backed up and the orders were coning in faster that they could send them out, but they managed to handle to rush with smiles. Good for them. I just can't with this place anymore! Went through drive thru and waited almost 20 minutes just to get our drinks and a pumpkin loaf. Ordered a PSL Frappuccino and a pumpkin loaf warmed up. Husband ordered a PSL hot. We get his drink, my drink literally had a dollop of whipped cream and my pumpkin loaf was cold. I asked if they could put more whipped cream. Whomever was the supervisor on august 26th 2023 just said "you should of come back in instead of driving off" and then wanted my name so I could come back in. People tend to Forget that thy only have 2/3 espresso machines and sometimes people order a loooot of shit ! Not to mention they need to make drinks for drive thru while still serving customers for mobile orders and cafe orders . So if you don't mind waiting for drink You should be okay. I can't thank the staff today enough. My dumb car broke down in the drive thru and mid panic two of the managers helping from another location came out and helped keep me sane. One of them FaceTimed her boyfriend who was a mechanic to help, then pushed my car to the auto shop just across the way.
