There is one place that I absolutely love to go in the morning at Starbucks. The Starbucks is totally awesome. It's really nice quiet but it's an absolutely beautiful store so when I came in today, I made it clear that I was from out of town. Even those is originally my hometown, but they were super cool to me. They let me get the decaf. Love you sweet cream drink, and it tasted so good I think I wish I could've gotten a bucket size Store was super clean. Service was excellent. It's well worth it to tip the extra two bucks you won't regret it. I definitely recommend a Starbucks showing much love from California. My barista give me the pistachio cream with an iced decaf Americano because I can't drink caffeine and let me tell you... It has been a long time since I have been in a Starbucks with that old customer fun feeling, but yesterday was a pleasant experience. I am glad we changed our mind at the last minute to come here. We scored a last minute Rock Star parking spot, and our Barista taking our order was perfect. Cooper clarified our orders and made sure everything was perfect. The rest of the team making drinking off the bar, cooking food, and working the blenders were like perfect gears on a team. Energy was fun in there. All of the customers seemed to have that elevated vibe right along with the team. I had made a mistake with my order and they were so wonderful at fixing it FOR FREE, I gave them an additional tip. I will definitely be stopping by this Starbucks again. OH! Added wonderful bonus was MATCHA NOW IS NOT PRESWEETENED and can be requested without sweetener. I can have my Matcha without all the carbs. I don't care what anybody says. I love Starbucks! No matter where I am in the states or in the world, except Italy, I know I can get my favorite drinks and they always taste the same. My husband comes to this store nearly everyday. He walks from home to get his daily exercise. I think he likes to come in to see some of the locals who work in the area. He's a political groupie. I rarely give reviews or any thought of reviews of franchises, but this is the most friendly Starbucks I've visited besides the one I frequented in Clairemont Mesa in San Diego (now closed :( ) when I used to live across the street from it in 2010 to early 2014. It's right in the middle of Edmonds, which is convenient for many. This is my second visit. Today, the manager even pointed that she made an error in my pour over because she got confused with another order. She also was willing to make another one if I wish. My mother was elated by her birthday visit to Starbucks. Turning 95 is not an everyday thing. The Starbucks crew and customers sang to her and seeing all the Halloween costumes from a warm place made her very happy. We're not in Seattle anymore, Toto. Walk into this downtown coffee shop and you'll agree. This starbucks feels as far removed from Seattle as the Beverly Hillbillies were in the 90210. It doesn't seem possible to feel this Pacific Northwest-y, but you do, and it totally works. All we need now is a break in rainy weather and clouds. I absolutely love this location. It is in the heart of Downtown Edmonds so it is convenient to to walk to many different locations as you are enjoying your drink or snack. The views are great. From just outside the store you can see the Puget Sound. Inside you windows wrapping around the exterior of the business which resides on a corner. You can look at the downtown fountains in the middle of Main St or just watch all the people and dogs passing by. The true gem is the excellent employees who work here. They are truly a step above all the other Starbucks around. They actually care about making your drink and they are happy when you are happy about your drink. If you want the feel of a small town coffee shop with the familiarity of Starbucks...this is the place to go! read more

Great location near the roundabout in downtown Edmonds.. They stay open later than just about every coffee house in the downtown Edmonds area. The main reason they are getting 2 stars is because of what we observed when we wanted to order a pastry. One of the staff had just finished emptying the waste from the recycle bin. He then went to the other side of the counter to serve drinks and pastries. He decided not to wash his hands after handling garbage so we decided not to order anything. read more

I'll admit it. I was mad when they violated the small town charm of downtown Edmonds by opening a Starbucks right in the heart of the city, next to the infamous roundabout and fountain. However, given the lack of coffee shops and the sheer amount of foot traffic in downtown, I have embraced Starbucks as an Edmonds necessity. Starbucks, Red Twig, the bakery, and just a couple other places downtown are the only real walk-in coffee shops where I can sit down and grade papers for a couple hours. I don't drink coffee, so I really could care less about the quality of coffee, as long as they have Tea and/or Chai, I'm good to go. As I have frequented this Starbucks many times over the past couple years to sit in a corner, read or grade quietly when it's not warm enough to do so on the beach, I have come to appreciate the central location, friendliness of the staff (who remember names/drinks of locals), and ease into the laid back Edmonds vibe. It's one of the few Starbucks that does not feel like an international chain, but rather a neighborhood coffee shop, which is just what Edmonds needed all those years ago. read more

It's a Starbucks and there aren't a lot of twists to this one that you haven't seen if you were at that other Starbucks... It's usually pretty busy here, but always friendly service and good drinks. Located right next to the fountain in downtown Edmonds, it's a great place to walk to and there is a lot within walking distance. I love to grab a coffee here and walk down to the waterfront to either catch the ferry to Kingston or sit by the water and watch the ferries and trains and relax. It's also a couple blocks walk back to the library, though I'm never sure if I shouldn't bring my coffee in the library. It's also a good spot to just sit in, cozy-like, or walk next door to the bookshop and peruse the offerings. Great location close to everything in downtown Edmonds (since it's small as it is), the service is always great and the coffee's what you expect it to be. read more

We are ordering our drinks when Fabian decides to dip out before finishing the simple two drink order. Because of this another barista had to take over and the cups did not get written on; which naturally is their only way of keeping track of which drinks are to be made. We stood there patiently for about 15 minutes and finally asked why a hot chocolate and green tea were taking so long. Oh! Because Fabian didn't put in the order for the drinks we paid for. Seriously the rudest, weirdest interaction with a barista ever. This location is always very busy (both inside and out) and yet still seems to offer the exceptional customer service and coffee that Starbucks is known for. Starbucks staff are always rude and want to rush me.. Their coffee always taste burnt! Starbucks are always flowing with people so it takes too long to get a coffee and there is lots of "device" people that take up all the seats. Too many kids in there!!! Why are kids this young in a coffee shop? I don't need tweens laughing and making noise when I am trying to do work. Highly overrated... Corporate coffee always sucks! I'm not sure that a Starbucks can vary from one to another besides by comparing service (not item sold) so that's what I am doing here... By far, this is the SLOWEST Starbucks I have EVER been to. It really seemed like one of the baristas was trying to be kind of "cutesy like" in the way he was making drinks and calling out drink orders - I think it wasted time and was not something I was interested in seeing. Also this guy obviously couldn't follow directions because he made a person (from behind me in line) their entire order including an iced/blended something before just pouring my iced tea! More specifically ( I know the above might not have been that helpful ) - I waited in line behind approximately 4 people and it took at least 10 minutes to get a simple iced tea! And the girl who was working the cash register looked like she was affraid to touch the pastries in the show case so she was slow to put them in bags for customers. The price to buy coffee is worth it. I would definitely recommend getting a gift card and registering it on starbucks.com and using the gift card whenever coming in so you can get the best savings.
