Awesome cafe. Highly recommended. I ordered the double macchiato with oat milk. Delicious. Met a friend here for work. Awesome. Great time . Lots of Great pastries available. Extremely busy Ana very friendly, quick and efficient. They have square and you can use your Toast rewards. Yeah!

Feel good food. Breakfast or brunch. Coffee lovers dream. Seasonal options, limited parking, cute town. Order when you walk in. Cozy vibes.

    Bacon quiche and Chai latte

Met a friend for coffee and ended up having a bacon quiche and a Chai Latte. Very delicious! Service is always fast! Barely any waiting. However it was 9:00 am, and only 2 tables were full by the time we left nearly all the tables were full including outside seating. This is a quaint coffee shop. Families, couples, friends, people with dogs all seemed to be enjoying their Sunday mornings.

Cozy spot with a great location! French toast was good but not memorable; crepe was fluffy, could use a flavor boost.

The strength of this place is the atmosphere. The service is mediocre. What brings you back in my opinion is the food, quality of the ingredients, and good vibes. I like the seasonal pastries, although they can be a hit or miss on certain. I love the range of offered items, it's nice that the hours often are longer than other cafes.

I'm a regular and love Red Twig and today was just awesome! Hurry in for the Timberline Turkey bowl with tarragon dressing! So delicious and only for a limited time. Staff was super sweet and friendly and the drip coffee is my fave in Edmonds. Yum!!

Fun spot to hang at. Entrance is on the side of the building. There may be a line where you order and after find seating. Staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered 2 lattes, one for here and one for a to go cup. Ended with both cups for here. Coffee is picked up on the side of the counter. Once you order they give you a number if your dining in. They will deliver your food at your table. The pancakes were fluffy . The whip cream and sauce worked well with the pancakes. The Scrambles Spinach, Cherry Tomatoes & Feta dish was delicious. Looking forward to trying another dish soon!

    Turkey Sandwich

My mom and I both ordered the turkey sandwich and the only redeeming quality was the garlic mayo. The turkey was just a big chunk in the middle of the sandwich, the lettuce was not fresh, and the bread was so dry and tough that it was hard to swallow. It also took about 30 min for us to even get our food which seems a bit long for two cold sandwiches. I would never order this again but the pastries they had looked very good so I would maybe come back to try those.

TLDR: no seating inside for strollers, and bland food/drinks. I came with a fellow mom and our strollers around 5pm. There was plenty of seating inside, as well as some seating outside as well. The hallway to order was pretty narrow, so I would have understood if they asked us to put our strollers to the side or something. But they told us strollers aren't allowed inside, and suggested sitting in the white tent outside. Unfortunately, there wasn't any heating in the tent. I am a bit disappointed that we weren't able to put our strollers against the wall or something so our babies could stay warm. The inside was almost empty, so it wasn't like there wasn't any space. Food & drink: I ordered an earl grey latte and spinach & cheese quiche, while my friend ordered a mocha and cookie. The theme for my items are: very subtle flavors. For the earl grey latte, I guess I expected an espresso latte with earl grey syrup. But it was literally earl grey tea with milk. No coffee to make it a "latte." The quiche was very healthy - or basically very plain and if there was seasoning, I really couldn't tell. It just tasted like eggs. I enjoy quiche when it's a little more savory and has more body/depth of flavor from fats (either butter or bacon or something). Or at least add some salt and pepper!!! All in all I'm pretty disappointed in both the accommodation for families and the very poor quality of food and drinks.

I do enjoy Red Dig. Great coffee, wonderful food and great customer service . They offer both inside and outside seating which is great

Red Twig is fantastic. I appreciate the fact they don't cater to self-obsessed birthing persons who think the world revolves around them and their strollers--oh, and the food and coffee are pretty good too. We stopped here just before hopping on a ferry, so we didn't get to spend as much time as we had wanted, but it was still great. We sat outside in the covered area--the heaters kept it comfortable even though it was raining. Service was pretty good from what I recall.

Small but good vibes. Local. Good coffee. Friendly staff. Wasn't busy on a Wednesday morning. Good place to visit if waiting on the whale watching tour.

A tasty sweet to round out the afternoon.

Street parking only, but if you're open to a walk, downtown Edmonds tends to have ample parking around the area. When busy, they do provide a buzzer that has a short range, but opens up the opportunity of walking around slightly. Items can be a bit pricey, but they're also very filling. Large space, lots of chatter, and friendly service. Number Three Combo Club - we wanted waffles this time but also bacon and sausage. This was the variety pack we desired, though wish it came with both sausage and bacon! Opted for the bacon and it was thick, fatty, and delicious. One waffle cut into the four quadrants, ready to soak up syrup. Simple, but a classic. Chunky Monkey Pancakes - goofy perhaps, but another timeless classic combo of chocolate and bananas. Three chocolate chip pancakes, fluffy and ready to absorb the Nutella drizzle. Could have a few more chocolate chips embedded for a more balanced spread, but the chocolate drizzle helps spread flavor. Bananas for the healthy balance of course.

That said, we waited nearly an hour for a table for our party of six. They sat us in a booth, clearly designed for 4. A large metal bar sits on the edge of the booth just under the fabric, but there isn't a way to avoid sitting on it when crammed in. OK, it's very uncomfortable, but so be it. The check comes, the (excellent) server graciously separates the bill for us which I appreciate. She added a 20% gratuity which I understand for large parties. However, I did some basic math and recognized they add the tip amount and then charge tax on the bill plus the tip. I pointed this out to the server but she was clearly too busy to do anything about it. While for our table, it's not a ton of money, over time and who knows how many tables, this is, in my opinion a massive and unacceptable mistake.

The menu has classy options and is rather understated, which is a relief. [I positively despise the Cheesecake Factory model of long menu of items with small variations on the same boring narrow band of ingredients -- which taste roughly all the same...marketing to a customer base with limited palates is all kinds of unappetizing!] Here, in addition to more reasonable portion sizes than the Cheesecake Factory, the menu choices are delectable and artful. Each crumpet topping or combination demonstrates care and good cultural taste. I had the savory pesto, ricotta, and tomato...it was adroitly put together on a plate. I wolfed it down at the outdoor seating patio with my fingers. An off-the-street enclave of restaurants, pubs, and ice-cream shops is a nice setting -- albeit a bit too concrete and too hot in summer.
