    Warm, thick tortilla chips
    Heather S.

In short, as a Spanish gal, I highly recommend this restaurant. Don't let the location being in a shopping strip mall stop fool you! THE INSIDE: We were seated quickly. A/C was running high as it was a super humid and hot Saturday. The restaurant is one big open space with large, comfortable booths lining the walls and a selection of tables in the center. This would suit large groups, too. There's a small outdoor patio area with umbrella covered seating. They had World Cup games on and decor to match. THE FOOD: We immediately had warm, thick tortilla chips and house made red salsa on the table. Salsa is on the spicier side, but was absolutely delicious. We had the Cadillac margarita (moderately strong and well mixed), tacos dorado with steak (fried and seasoned perfectly), and corn tacos with birria (melt-in-your-mouth and perfect temp). The bar is its own little mixology section and is very well stocked. SIDE NOTES: We were way too full for dessert, but there were several nice options that all looked and smelled amazing as they passed us. Can't wait to go back when we have emptier stomachs to try more!

I live in Los Angeles so admittedly, I wasn't expecting much from this Mexican restaurant. Wow, was I wrong. I knew it was going to be good when the chips were brought out and they tasted amazing - still warm and slightly salty with a good crunch. Guacamole was on point and my chile relleno was outstanding: great service! The interior is pretty spacious with some large tvs.

Big portions definitely worth the money! The food was amazing, the service was very friendly. It is a huge open space, great for big parties. And the price makes it all worth it. Amazing food, can't stress this enough!

Good food Good service for a value price. Clean and roomy. Good, a little weak coffee, but not bitter or bad. Solid food and plenty of options.

Side of sour cream and avocado, to complement the chilaquiles!

Outstanding Food and Service! I have tried so many Mexican restaurants trying to find good authentic dishes. Well, Prado will give you amazing Chilaquiles! Just make sure you ask how spicy the dish is and order accordingly. Portions are very large. Give it a try, odds are, it will exceed expectations!

We were looking for a brunch place in Lynnwood recently and found Prado. Its a relatively new location for them and the interiors are fun and the service is great. We both got the Chorizo omelet with fruit. The omelet was great, the chorizo delicious and not too greasy. The fruit bowl that came with the omelet included really fresh fruit including banana and strawberries, instead of the usual melons. We'll be back.

    Machacas with hash brown instead

My buddy and I were looking for an early morning breakfast place yesterday and this restaurant popped up in the search with a 7am opening time. Nestled in the corner of an L-shaped strip mall, the restaurant also has a fenced outdoor patio at the front. Parking is plentiful. We found a gem! Service was so naturally friendly and attentive the whole 2 hours we were there, chatting long after our meal was done, no one hurried us, we felt very well taken care of. The menu offered an interesting mix, ranging from blueberry pancakes and brioche French toast to burritos and tacos to burgers and steaks. This is a rare place where you can from simple to a very full meal in the early morning! Certainly our kind of place! My buddy asked for a recommendation and decided on the Machacas, while I had a Chorizo Omelette. Both entrees were absolutely delightful. Opting for hash brown instead of rice and beans, the Machacas had super tender shredded beef and a rich complex taste. This would be a worthy contender to my usual corned beef hash.. I had home styled potatoes with my chorizo omelette, small cubes of potatoes fried with onions and colorful peppers. The chorizo was very tasty, well paired with the omelette cooked just nice. It also came with a side of toast (I had to bag this as I was too full). Both entrees had volume and were a fantastic introduction to the offerings from Prado. This restaurant is going to be near the top of our favorites list. I cannot wait to try the many other items on the menu!

    Chilaquiles

Prado deserves to become the hottest new brunch spot in the north end. We went with our small kids on a Sunday at 10:30am. At other local places, we would usually find long lines, but Prado has only been open for a month, and it seems word hasn't yet caught on about their breakfast. Their dining area is spacious, inviting, and laid out nicely. Everything we had was wildly delicious. The green chilaquiles came on a gigantic plate. A generous helping of chips smothered in a green salsa that was bursting with well-balanced flavor and topped with two perfectly cooked over easy eggs was accompanied by sides of excellent beans and rice. I almost ate more beans than the chilaquiles themselves, they were that tasty. My husband ordered a veggie omelet which was packed with a fresh, perfectly cooked assortment and came with a massive side of hash browns that he noted were not overly oily like many other comparables we've tried. But the most stellar part of our meal was ordered by my toddler. Their kids' menu lists a Mickey Mouse pancake, but when I asked for that in front of him, he (being almost 4 and obsessed with Spider-Man) kept repeating that he wanted a spider pancake. To our great shock, the chefs made him just that!! They treated us like guests in their home (or better even); it was very touching. It's rare these days to find a restaurant whose food and service are stellar in equal measure, but it seems we have found that in Prado. We hear the dinner food is also delicious, and based on our breakfast experience, we will certainly be back to try it. Check out this new neighborhood gem!

We've been to Prado a handful of times now and each time has been wonderful. Staff is really kind and they check in often, food is SO yummy. My husband's go to order is the chicken fajitas while mine is the tacos al carbon. The margaritas are so good too!!

Machacas (before tortillas and salsa arrived). Giant jalapeno. Janky lighting on my part.

In short Awesome family-style Mexican restaurant with a fun vibe, full bar, and serious brunch program. In long This place is surprisingly easy to miss from the busy streets that run by it on 2 sides. It was a different Mexican place before, and there are lots of other businesses on this big parking lot. It's kinda tucked back in the corner and very much worth seeking out. Out front is a big round cobblestone patio that was clearly built by the developer of this strip mall, but will work beautifully as their courtyard once they furnish it during nice weather. In fact, that patio is the only thing that seems unfinished. They still have the Now Open signs up, but, otherwise, you'd never guess they're new. They're already firing on all cylinders. Inside, there's one big dining room off to the right. Some booths, lots of tables that can easily be combined for groups. I came in on a Sunday morning and could easily have stuck with one of many purely-American brunch options if I so chose. They have mimosas as well. It's your classic brunch hangout. Thankfully, they also have Mexican menu items aimed at the brunch/breakfast patron. I didn't want to go to a place that knows how to make Mexican food and eat a pancake, y'know? The machacas are excellent. All the rice, beans, and tortillas are as good as just about any place around here, and the salsa has nice depth and pops with a little heat. Awesome eggs and shredded steak. I ordered a fried jalapeno, which wasn't spicy (you never know which ones will be), but it certainly was enormous, and friend very tenderly. They eagerly pointed out their dinner menu, which gets traditional, too. The bar program looks really impressive, and the service couldn't have been better--fast, cheerful, super nice, super friendly. I can't wait to come back at pretty much any time of day or in any weather.

We're so excited to have a great restaurant in this community again! Prado New Mexican Restaurant in Lynnwood is a fantastic local, family-owned spot that definitely deserves the support. The food is flavorful, hot, and made with care--our fajitas and guacamole were especially delicious! The staff is friendly, fast, and attentive--they really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The food selection is solid, and everything we tried hit the spot. Plus, parking is easy, which is always a plus. It's clear they're working hard to bring something special to the area, and we're so glad to have them here. Sunday night they have the mariachis, call to verify!

Congrats to the owners on a successful first week! Came with my family on their first day and although they definitely have some kinks to work out, this rating is because we came on the first day and I am interested in coming back to give them another chance. For 4 people (5 cocktails and 4 main dishes), we paid almost $300...definitely pricey. What I loved: the Cadillac Margaritas were fantastic and the bartender was super friendly. Ceviche had a nice kick to it and they did not skimp on the shrimp. My favorite dish of the night was the Mojarra Frits (fried red tilapia), which was crispy, flaky, and super flavorful! Notes for improvement: service was quite slow, although it was the first night and we were a large group. I ordered carne asada which is a dish I typically get at any Mexican restaurant but for the price here, my protein was super small...maybe something I'll skip next time. The molcajete was fun and I loved that they had nopales (cactus) but everything was over cooked by the time it got to the table. Someone at the table ordered Ribeye con Chimichurri which was supposed to come with a baked potato and chimichurri, but it came with neither. When we asked about it, we were told that they hadn't received the shipment but we weren't given a heads up about it before the dish came out. All in all, a great family-owned restaurant that I hope is successful. They have other non-Mexican options like burgers, so they definitely have options for everyone. Looking forward to return to try their brunch menu!

I ordered the Tacos Dorados that comes with 3 tacos beef or chicken, spanish rice & refried beans it was delicious and inexpensive.
