This place kicks ass, seriously. Genuine homemade chips and salsa, you won't find these chips in a bag. Killer queso, chicken taquitos for appetizers. Got a burger to eat (which felt weird to do at a Mexican restaurant). 1/2lb Wagyu, cooked perfectly. Honestly, now that Tipsy Cow has gone way way down in quality and way up in price, this might be the best burger in the entire Seattle Metropolitan area. None of that thin smash burger crap, this one is big, thick, and juicy. My gf got the Cream Enchiladas and was very impressed as well. Tons of flavor across the board. Excellent service, the guy was so good at refilling our drinks we didn't even notice we were low, or that he'd refilled them. It was kinda like magic. The place is clean, kind of eerily so. So clean that you feel compelled to bus your own table so as not to ruin the immaculate presentation. Artwork is a great combination of local and Mexican, much like their food. We ordered the steak and shrimp fajitas. The worst fajitas I've had! The so called steak is really not steak, but very cheap chewy nerve and tendon strips marinated in a weird sauce almost like burnt mole. Tasted like it was frozen and thawed out. The shrimp was overcooked and very rubbery. Azteca and Azul actually use real steak and is cheaper. 33 bucks for disgusting fake meat falsely claiming to be steak. These are not really steak fajitas! The rice and beans are good not the best. Margaritas are ok . Chips and salsa are pretty good. Maybe other items on the menu are better, but the fajitas are gross in my opinion. The service was friendly and fast. I will say that the churros are delicious too. Stay away from the fake steak fajitas though . Lots of Mexican restaurants are cheaping out by using cheap strips of meat and falsely advertising that they are steak and charging a higher price for it. Don't be scammed! We payed 80 bucks for fake steak fajitas. Disappointed. the inside of the restaurant was clean but needs more excitement and more variety of music not just menudo band playing over and over. read more

My first impression of a Mexican restaurant is from the chips and salsa. If those are right, the rest of the food is almost always going to be good as well, and this was no exception. The chips were fresh and tasted house made. The salsa was also fresh with properly chopped ingredients and a good measure of heat. I had the molcajete which was rich with well proportioned ingredients, including bacon wrapped shrimp, beef, chicken, sausage, and a rich sause. The service was very attentive and thorough. One of the Best Dining Experiences in the Area - Worth Every Penny My friend and I were returning from a challenging hike in the North Cascades National Park and were exhausted. I was looking to treat ourselves to a great dinner. I searched for places with over 50 reviews and a rating above 4.6 -- this restaurant popped up, and I'm so glad it did. Though the prices were a bit higher than some other options, I wanted something special -- and this place absolutely delivered. In fact, it's one of the few restaurants I can confidently recommend to all my friends without a second thought. I'm vegetarian, and while the menu initially looked limited in vegetarian options, the staff was more than happy to accommodate. Just ask! My fajitas were superb -- the black beans were flavorful, and the grilled vegetables included more than just onions and bell peppers (a refreshing change). My friend had a chicken dish (crema?) and said it was excellent. He lives not far from Lynnwood and already plans to return regularly. What really stood out was the chips and salsa -- fresh, free, and unlimited. I've been staying in downtown Seattle for two months and recently spent 10 days in Vancouver, visiting a total of six Mexican restaurants between the two cities. This was the only one that offered fresh, complimentary chips and more salsa without a surcharge. Food Quality: Excellent Portions: Generous Service: Truly outstanding -- probably the best I've had in a long time. We were greeted and checked on by five different staff members, all of whom were friendly, warm, and attentive. None of that "I'll tell your server" runaround -- everyone took ownership and acted with care. I tip based on service: Poor service = no tip or less than10% Decent = 15% Great = 20% This was one of the rare times I tipped more than 20% -- every single employee contributed to making us feel welcomed and taken care of. The gave us a happy, positive vibe - and we felt blessed to have such a great way to end our day. (Often you are tired and you go to a restaurant and you spent money on dinner, but it is just food, and perhaps not even fresh ingredients) If I could offer one suggestion: It would be great to have the option of chopped fresh chilies or jalapeños to spice up the salsa. Genuinely great food. We lived in San Francisco for more than a decade and got relatively good at discerning quality Mexican food. Prado was a very happy surprise, and apparently they have only been open for 3 days! We stopped here for date night during our kids' baseball practice and expected to just get margaritas. The margaritas were huge (a bit sweet, but I ended up loving it) and we decided to get one entree. I got the carnitas and my wife got a bowl of soup. We also loved the thick tortilla chips (all made in-house). The carnitas were incredible. They were so tender (something that most places just can't seem to manage) and the spices were complex and flavorful. We asked for additional salsa for the carnitas, and they brought some excellent salsa that never got the name of (definitely a thicker hot sauce, that was also made in-house!) I didn't taste the soup, but my wife said it was excellent. I forked over some carnitas to my wife (a bit harder to please with how much experience she has with good Mexican food) and she was visibly shocked by how good it was. She repeatedly said "wow, this is really good!" And she made sure to tell the various staff that came by. The staff were all much friendlier than we expected as we both mentioned it to each other when we got our table. All in all, an excellent experience. She was really patient while I was trying to decide - everything sounded really good, and she made us some of the best Michiladas we've had! Even better than when were in PV in March. I had the Chorizo Omelette and my husband had the Machacas. Both were really good, even the rice and beans were more flavorful and better than the usual from other Mexican restaurants! We ate dinner there last week with some friends. I admit I was a little reluctant because I loved the restaurant that was there before., not Prado's fault of course. I was very impressed. The service was friendly and fast. The food was really good. I like the thicker chips and salsa with a bit of a kick. I got a Chile Verde burrito and enjoyed it. The seasoning was nicely done, lots of flavor. The large chunks of pork were tender. Others in our party loved their tacos. We'll be back, and will try their breakfasts. I do hope they expand their dinner menu at some point. More choices would be good. read more

Went with a friend for an early dinner around 3:30 pm on a Friday. I had the chicken fajitas which came with rice, refried beans, salsa, guacamole and sour cream. The chicken was nicely seasoned and not too spicy. Huge portions and I really liked my meal. My friend had the chicken burrito with salsa verde. The burrito was huge and she also really liked her meal. The prices were average for the area. They have a happy hour posted but I didn't see happy hour items on the menu.
