This place doesn't look like much from the outside but inside it's lit like a party with blue lights on the edge of their bar and the bar was stacked with liquor. Very fun inside and parking is not difficult to find, they have a parking lot right outside. Right away we wheee given chips and salsa, we ordered guacamole which was an extra $5. We where given out menus which was very very extensive so I would take your time with the menu. My family and I ended up getting our dishes which was soooo and the placing was PHENOMENAL. We also ordered a beer to share which was super big as well. Additionally, the food was very filling and nothing was overly salty or sweet. Perfect balance. My aunt is a hot sauce guru so she request special hot sauce, which the waiters gave us. I am rating this place 4/5 because I think that the placing of the food obstructs the portion of the food, that is, the placing looks fantastic but I don't think you actually get that much food. But with that being said the food was still really good. Service is 5/5 at this place. I will also let you know that the take out boxes and take out trays so be wary of that if you are doing take out, the bags and boxes are big! Im a bit of a novice when it comes to tortas, but I recognize foodgasmic goodness when I taste it. I got the Monterey Torta, but I feel I would be remiss in my reviewing duties if I didn't explain what a torta is. It's a sandwich, but it's oh so much more. The bread is soft, but the sandwich is never soggy. This particular torta had Carne Asada, cheese, caramelized onion, Mexican Fresh Cheese, tomatoes and onion. Oh yeah -- and avocado. I learned the bread the bread is called telera, which I am sure telera means grubbin' in some other exotic language. The sandwich by itself is amazing, but it comes with some friends! These friends are fries, but they aren't like sone fries. There ain't no soggies in these fries. They seemed hand cut and were oh so crisp! I love me some good fries, and these definitely won the fries prize! In conclusion, I think this is the beginning of a long and tortaful relationship. Absolutely love it here ! Me and my parents come all the time when we go out to eat. You get there and it's already packed, always ! The tortas are to die for, I think I would sell my soul if I have too. Love to always try new things, so I'll switch it up here and then and try out new things and not stick to one plate. Especially at acá las tortas, not only the food is amazing but the way they treat their customers is everything. You immediately feel welcomed. Ordered a guava margarita, and it was delicious. This location of their three is a good spot to dine in as it's wait service at your table in a pleasant setting. They serve drinks here both alcoholic and na so we took full advantage of a margarita special which was the house margarita made with lime juice and worth the deal. We also enjoyed the carne asada plate and flan and churros for dessert. The carne asada plate came complete with rice and beans, a chile toreado, grilled onion, pico, and guacamole. In addition to the chips and smoky salsa, this was a nice meal, and I didn't feel they were any higher priced than any other place for the quality. The flan passed our test, as the texture was silky smooth and had the traditional sauce over it. I like the flavor a little more cajeta, but it was good. I would only get the churros if you really like churros and are wanting them. They came out warm with a scoop of ice cream. We've had tacos and tortas at the other location, and they were good, too. So, we definitely will repeat. read more

The wait time was long even when we called over 40mins before getting to the restaurant and hidden cost for take out that they don't tell you it will just show up as a charge on your receipt. I will preface this by saying I am a bit of a California Mexican food snob. One of my absolute favorite dishes is chicharron. Tacos, burritos, intravenously--I'll take it however I can get it. Unfortunately, it's pretty rare around here to find somewhere that serves it. So, when I found out Aca offers chicharron, I was SO EFFING EXCITED. Cue the major disappointment. Instead of my beloved crispy pork skin, I received the nebulous meat(?) pictured here. I nearly cried. The texture was indescribable in a bad way, and it was virtually inedible. This food is amazing. As a southwestern I despair at the Mexican food in this town-bland restaurants that use no spice, no acid and no salt always get five stars. This food is crazy good - Perfectly balanced flavorgasm that reminds me of takeout places I used to frequent in LA. I have no idea what is wrong with the negative reviews. I had the al pastor burrito and the Monterey torta. The burrito was so pineapply and bold and the torta was cheesy and spicy. Go here. I want to like this place. It's close to my house and is locally owned, has a decent aesthetic and an extensive menu. But.... The results have been so spotty. First order via delivery was a total disaster (major mistakes on the order + long delivery time even though no fault of the restaurant). We decided to dine in after that and while it's been ok a couple of times, the past two experiences have been terrible service. Last trip in as a couple we were seated in a back corner and ignored. My husband was hungry and ready to walk out. I convinced him to stay, but it didn't really improve. Order mistakes, clunky delivery and lots of time where our server was talking to a friend instead of working. He decided he wasn't going back after that. I went in on my own tonight to see if something has improved since then and I'm sad to say it's still terrible service. I had to wait almost 10 minutes for my server to come over even though there was only one other table occupied that was waiting for takeout!! I also didn't get my glass of wine until after my meal arrived and everything was taken away without asking if I wanted anything else or the check, just making me wait another 5 minutes for someone to come back so I could pay. The food is the one silver lining here - it's good! Basically everything has been above average or excellent. My recommendation is get takeout instead of dining in. read more

WOW, I have no idea why some folks gave such low reviews. This place is a breath of fresh air, and fresh food. -- ACA LAS TORTAS is very worthy of 5 stars! I ate here for the first time yesterday, and am thinking about going today to try more of the fabulous food. Yesterday I ordered 3 crisp beef tacos and when they came, so did 3 selections of hot sauce in large squeeze bottles: Mild (seedy green) Medium (blended red, SUPER YUM), and Hot (blended green sauce) -- I was afraid to try the Hot from the taste of the Medium. The service was excellent. I didn't get the guy's name but he was very knowledgeable about the menu, and friendly. There was an older gentleman playing a HARP (!!!) and when done he made his way around the room talking to folks. I think he might have been the owner because he was asking how we liked the food, the service, and the overall experience. So now to the food. The tacos were very good. As I was eating I saw several other dishes come out of the kitchen. What a sight to behold! I am definitely coming back to try more items. I saw a "Red Beer" that looked like a giant gourmet Bloody Mary, Huge, with cucumber, and orange on the top, I took a photo and will attach. I also saw a "Shrimp Cocktail" WOW!!! I am definitely having that next time I go. It was huge and came in a tall glass bowl with a stem, also took a photo, will attach.. Cost was $16 but looked worth it. If all that is not enough for you, not only do they have beer and wine, they have Cocktails! I had a house (small) margarita which was good. They offered me a "special" margarita but from what I saw coming out of the kitchen, I was not too sure I should drive afterwards so I just got a small house drink. If you want normal boring food, don't come here. If you want to be amazed at a plate of food in front of you, and delighted at the flavors, and watch incredible dishes be delivered to tables next to you, this is an excellent choice. The other two Aca Los Tortas locations are in Bothell and Mill Creek. This new cozy strip mall store is small and possibly the brightest spot on the block that also offers friendly table service of tasty food! The basket of chips and salsa are $1.99 rather than complimentary however, when you consider the overall low menu prices, still a considerable savings over other similar restaurants. We each enjoyed a cold bottle of Dos XXX Amber (me) and her Corona light. A full bar and several beers are on tap including Stella! I ordered the chili verde burrito which was almost the size of a newborn baby and contained tender morsels of juicy pork marinated in a mild verde sauce sided with a handful of chips. Yum! Her 3 chicken street tacos were loaded with shredded white meat, chopped white onions, cotija cheese and cilantro. Lower menu prices than those other local chains but with fresh quality groceries! Large TVs line all of the walls and we enjoyed watching Friday night wrestling in spanish every direction. Still a few bugs getting worked out on the service. Waitstaff forgot her soup and my jalapenos ordered on the burrito. However that is to be expected with a new place. I am looking forward to trying some of the other menu offerings soon. read more

I got to say that if you wish to be robbed go here. Their prices are extremely high for what they offer. I recently ate here. I am Mexican, born and raised there. Now, the plates they serve have high margins. A ceviche shouldn't be 30 dollars. I can asure you that the quality of a ceviche like that should cost you maybe 7-10 dollars max. And so goes for every other dish. I am honestly ashamed that they sell at these prices for the type of food. Now you may say: "it's for the restaurant experience" we'll let me tell you that a restaurant of that kind of prices looks much better. I do admit the food is better than azteca or azul but god damn!! I really hope the income of this place goes well distributed among staff. Had a wonderful time at Ac Las Tortas! This place was recommended by a friend of mine, so we stopped by for dinner and drinks. The margaritas were very imaginative, and the service was prompt. The ceviche was really flavorful without being over-the-top fishy. Personally, I loved the green salsa, but my friend thought it was too spicy. The wait staff was fun and stopped to joke with us after we had a few shots of tequila. I'm excited to go back and try more of their menu items! read more

There are several Acas scattered around south Snohomish County, and I think I've ended up trying them all by now. This one is the most like a restaurant: Full bar Ambitious, long menu Plenty of seating Plenty of parking Nicely built and decorated Now, I've eaten 100+ tacos from these guys in the last year or two, and a dozen sandwiches, and turned many friends on to their food too. But this has all been via delivery. Their delivery fee is low and the turnaround time is rad (they don't employ drivers, they go through delivery apps). But Friday we finally came in to sit down and eat in celebration of a friend's birthday. What a good call. We kicked off the evening with a million baskets of chips and tons of good, fairly-spicy salsas in squeeze bottles, along with three different rounds of mezcal shots. This has to be just about as much fun as you can have in Picnic Point on a Friday night. Three different mezcals is not usually a service I especially seek out, but it turns out I really dig the good ones (one of the three was pretty good, and one was really good, but I didn't catch the names). We had chorizo queso dip, which was rad, especially if you scoop out a spoonful for your chip instead of just dunking--'cause the good stuff sinks in the melted cheese. The mixed ceviche was spectacular, with octopus, whitefish, shrimp, avocado, and cilantro. It's a TON of fresh fish for $20. Three big people worked on it and left too many scraps. Everybody else ordered a smorgasbord of tacos, which as always were really good. Given the awesome prices here, wide variety of food, all the drinks, and super-friendly staff, this place is tighter than ever in my rotation now. Even the desserts were good--really good--and somebody ordered a spicy shrimp dish at the next table that looked incredible.
