And was told they only had bad seats available, but then someone else walked in without reservations as well as she was able to get a table It was restaurant week so we (3 of us) ordered the 3 course meal. The salad and ceviche were good. The noodles on the shrimp dish were overcooked and mushy. The desserts were ok Our waiter was awesome. He made recommendations and even offered to take our picture. This place is cute! For a group, girl date or date night! Had brunch today and loved that their menu was mostly savory for lunch. They have the Dutch baby pancakes! I came here with a girl friend of mine and got the country Dutch baby! I LOVED it! A good mix of savory with gravy, sausage and eggs, the goat horn pickle peppers added a nice touch. My girl friend got the Early Riser breakfast (all around breakfast of protein, carbs and fruit!) Lane was our server and was really helpful and accommodating. Cute little restaurant in downtown Edmonds. Small, but they make good use of all the space. The staff were all kind and helpful. Came with a friend for restaurant week. I had the Brussel sprouts and bolognese. Sprouts were good, but a little on the sweet side with raisins. Could have used a spice element to offset the sweetness, but still pretty good. The bolognese was not very good IMO. The noodles were a little on the chewy side, and the sauce was just really underwhelming. Also didn't love the taste of the meat. For dessert, I had the chocolate mousse. It was so cute, but extremely bitter. Again, very cute little restaurant. I'm sure they have a ton of great options here, and is a great option for a date night; however, based on the things I tried, I probably wouldn't come again. read more

I'd give 4.5 stars if I could. It's nice restaurant with god food. The foods and their descriptions definitely demonstrate that care goes into preparing them. There were two small drawbacks for me, only. My family doesn't have eating restrictions. My daughter is picky but she likes cheese pizza, so the kid's menu was perfect for her. My husband got pasta with a meaty tomato sauce, my mother in law got manicotti, and my father in law got the same as my husband (they each had meatballs, on their pasta, as well). They all raved about their food. All 4 loved their meals. I am vegan and chose this restaurant for its vegan menu. I'm glad I mentioned it to the server because the vegan food is not featured on the regular menu. I settled on the vegan truffle mushroom pizza. When the food came, I was served the truffle mushroom risotto. I'm not a fan of risotto, so I spoke up. They fixed the mistake immediately, allowed me to keep the risotto (from which I ate the mushrooms), sent a manager out to apologize, and brought my pizza within about 10 minutes. I enjoyed the pizza much more than I would have enjoyed risotto. However, my observation is that the mushrooms were far too salty. This is a common feature of vegan food, I think. The pizza was good but would have been better with a little less salt. The server presented us with a small birthday cannoli for my husband and a bowl of sorbet to celebrate our anniversary. That was very sweet. It's not cheap but I felt they clearly made an effort to rectify the mistake with my order and to make our evening a special one. I'd celebrate an event here again. I am insanely jealous of the Edmonds food scene, this place has a lovely vibe to it and the service is friendly and knows what they're doing (hi Emma!) I had the Old Fashioned Sticky Bun 5/5 it was superb, great texture and flavor will absolutely get again. We also had their Eggs in Purgatory 4/5 great balance in flavor, one of the poached eggs was clearly over but otherwise a great plate of food. Fried Chicken Cesar Sandwich 5/5 an excellent sandwich I will say we went for brunch and it felt like their options were a little limited. We ordered a combo ( sausage and pepperoni) pizza, Caesar salad, Cacio e pepe, and the meatballs. Everything was amazing. Pizza did have a lot of topping and was a little salty, but crust was perfect. The meatballs with the polenta were fabulous. Their meatballs are a little dense, but still prepared perfectly with the creamy and flavorful polenta. Caesar salad was great and had a lot of freshly shaved Parmesan with leafy green romaine. The star of the show for me was the Cacio e Pepe. The green peas had a nice crunch, and the pancetta was the perfect amount of salt to the creaminess of the sauce. Little did I know this fabulous Edmonds eatery's owner also gifted Edmonds Salt and Iron (seafood and steaks), Sankai (Japanese-extraordinaire, Bar Dojo (Asian), and The Market (lobster Rolls. Each of these unique restaurants offer top not h food and service. Shubert Ho is the owner and just has the gift! Tonight we were served at the bar by a talented young staff of servers, bar tenders and bar backs. Really darling young men who took great care of us. Shout out to Caden, Elisha, Brady and Zane. So Service a 10! Now into our shared course! We were starving after a boat ride and visit to a Casino in Anacortes. Since they didn't take too much of our fortune, we decided on Fire Feast tonight and boy what a feast it was. After a small taste of their wine selection by the glass we decided on the upgraded Montepultiano D' Abruzzo and an Italian White. While thoughtfiully sipping those, a lovely bruschetta with the most ripened cherry Tom's I have ever had arrived for our table.. After diving into that great app we were served the best sourdough mushroom and sausage pizza hot out of the oven. Go no further in Edmonds for fantastic pizza. All in all a great experience. The Chicken Pesto Tortellini was to die for, with artichokes and peppers included in the sauce. The Pepperoni Honey pizza was loaded with slices of cupped pepperoni, onion, and honey, making it a wonderful sweet and savory combination. Nice Italian restaurant with attractive menu. My friend and I tried this place for the first time as we felt like trying something new. Not sure if this place is new but the restaurant was clean inside and out. So we were seated by the window at the table. There were still some seats available around us at 5pm on Sunday. We waited pretty long to order as apparently the server didn't know who was supposed to serve us. Some seating mixed up. The waitress we waived and got our attention from and the buzzer were really apologetic we were relieved that we weren't forgotten or discriminated. They didn't charge the appetizer dish we ordered. All the food was really good except for the bourbon chocolate mousse that was overwhelming amount of bourbon in it. I recommend the carbonara pasta dish that the pasta was thick as udon noodle with great texture, and the beets and burrata salad that was a perfect combination of dressing, sweet beets, nuts and cheese. My boyfriend and I have been to Fire and Feast at least 20 times, it's one of our favorite restaurants. The Caesar salad and pizza are must haves and the cocktails are always amazing. Every time we've come we've ordered either an espresso martini or a whiskey sour because they never miss at this place. However today we each ordered both cocktails and I have to say, Chloe (our bartender/server) made these drinks better than ever before. Fire and Feast cocktails are always a step above other restaurants (we work in an upscale restaurant in Bellevue as well as dine out A LOT, so we know what's good and what isn't) but she absolutely killed it and she was really sweet. Let's set one thing straight - this place gives GENEROUS portions. The amount of food they gave for each dish, whether it be the appetizer, entrée, or dessert, was hefty. My wife and I were pretty full....BEFORE even receiving our pasta dishes. So kudos to Fire & the Feast for serving dishes that meet your wallet and the price you pay! My wife and I just came back from a trip to Italy, and when we saw the menu for this place, especially during Seattle Restaurant Week, we hastily made reservations. We ordered: Truffle Fries Roman Meatballs Brussels Sprouts Truffle Risotto Mushroom Carbonara (with extra sausage) Seasonal Gelato Out of the appetizers, the Brussels sprouts were really nice. The level of acidity paired well with the Brussels sprouts, and they gave a lot (which I love). The fries and the meatballs were decent - nothing extraordinary, but a pleasant snack to munch on while we waited for our main dishes. The mushroom carbonara was really hefty and filling, and I kind of regret ordering extra sausage on it. The sausage that was sprinkled over the dish reminded me of the sausage you find at your local Domino's - I think it ruined the overall aesthetic and taste of the dish. (Btw, this is a ding on my decision, NOT on the restaurant). The pancetta was a bit paltry, but the dish was pretty good. The truffle risotto was also not bad, as the truffle flavor was really pronounced. But my wife did notice that some of the rice was still pretty hard, as if it wasn't cooked thoroughly enough. Neither of us could finish our meal, as we were stuffed. We shared the gelato at the end - typical restaurants would serve a tiny scoop, but the generous chefs at Fire & the Feast gave us 3 SCOOPS. Unheard of, but a welcomed surprise. Maybe I'm being too unfair, as we were using dishes in Italy as a benchmark for this food. Overall, the food here was really solid, but nothing mind-blowing. What was phenomenal were the portions, so hats off to this restaurant for being so generous. Definitely a trip worth making for some solid Italian food if you're planning a trip around downtown Edmonds (or if you're famished and looking for a hearty meal). read more

I have eaten dinner here many times but never brunch until recently. The menu looked great but because of my gluten-free and dairy-free needs, I was extremely limited, so I ended up getting a basic omelet that was just average. So for someone with these food allergies, I would call first or skip My sister can eat anything and got one of the bakes and absolutely loved it. Lane was our server and was amazing. He was there right when needed for all of our various ongoing needs and he was always more than happy to help. That was so nice since I was starting to feel like a pain in the neck. Always love the environment there. But this time, it seemed extra loud. It was busy, but it always is when I eat there so not sure what was different. We've been here a few times now for brunch, and each time we are always in awe of how delicious the dishes are!! We haven't been here for dinner, so I can't speak to the pasta, but the brunch here is divine. So much flavor!! The Dutch babies are baked to perfection, both sweet and savory options. We visited Fire and Feast for a weekend brunch on a beautiful day. Although the place was packed and we didn't have a reservation, the staff was quick to accommodate us and we were seated in no time. We started with coffee and shared the Shakshuka, Caprese Egg Benedict, and Berries Dutch Baby. The Shakshuka stood out with its tangy tomato base and perfectly cooked eggs, and the Benedict was fresh and flavorful. The Dutch Baby looked great but was a bit cold, so it didn't quite hit the mark. That said, the food overall was solid, the ambience was cozy and lively, and the service was excellent. I wish I could give 3.5 stars. But anyway. The food was decent, but nothing to write home about. Service was a tad bit on the slow side and we got there right when they opened their doors. Had a reservation and were sat immediately, but it took the server a bit to finally come over to greet us. Service was friendly, menu had a decent amount of options. Even though we sat in the dining room (as opposed to the bar) we could still order items off the happy hour menu, which we did. The Caccio and pepe pasta was pretty good. We were told it was a smaller portion because it was a happy hour item, but it was a regular sized entree portion if you ask me. Which isn't a bad thing, but it was just two of us and we also ordered cheesy garlic bread which was basically an entire "just cheese" pizza. Again, for appetizers for just 2 ppl and we had already ordered entrees to follow it was way too much food. Most people wouldn't complain about too much food, and I'm not necessarily, but I hate to waste food and I'm not one that likes leftovers. Anyway, not complaining about that, just a comment. I ordered the butternut squash ravioli as my entree and my first bite had a hair in it. Yuck. They were super apologetic and corrected it immediately and comped my dish. But overall it was a bit of a let down. My replacement dish was fine but the dish itself lacked flavor and fell flat. The hubby ordered pork shank osso bucco. It was good, but nothing exciting. The wine list was pleasantly well priced which I greatly appreciated. Service overall was pleasant and friendly. Restaurant was cozy and inviting. I can imagine that it's difficult to cook and serve a lean piece of meat like elk loin at the right temperature but at $49 dollars.... That's your job. Fire and Feast is a great stop off if you are spending some time walking around downtown Edmonds or meeting someone who walked over via the ferry. Parking in this area is challenging and street parking only. It's the kind of place where you probably need a reservation, but I have had success on two occasions walking in and getting 2 seats at the bar. It's got a fancy feel and prices to match, but the food is really good and the service is excellent. I am really thankful for the plant based menu, but you do need to ask for it or you will wonder why you heard they had options available, but don't see them on the main menu. I've sampled two of the pizza, both were tasty and plenty of food for just me. My friend thought it was weird that I got a pizza with squash on it, but it really was quite tasty and I appreciate the adventurousness of it. There are a handful of other things I'd like to try in the future as well. Both of my dining partners have enjoyed their food. My main complaints are about the lack of plant based options on the happy hour and brunch menus, I'd love to check them out for these types of meals sometime and am hoping this changes in the future. read more

The place was decorated with tinsel and some other holiday decor which made our dinner feel cozy. The rolled lasagna and duck carbonara were delicious and could keep us coming back. As recommended, we made reservations online prior to going for our party of five. First items off their menu was a round of their craft cocktails: - Fall From the Tree - Snuggle - This one was essentially adult peppermint hot chocolate with the chocolate liqueur - Pumpkin Nog - Can never pass up on house-made eggnog - yum! We came for happy hour, ordering the focaccia , pinwheel lasagna and then mushroom truffle potato pizza from regular menu. AND WOW, everything was so fresh and flavorful. Italian food is tough for someone who doesn't do carbs but I had the Pork Osso buco and it was absolutely delightful. Rich and flavorful. However the fruit the out on top was a bit too sweet for me.
