    Egg Plant
    Jacob P.

Service was quick and customer oriented. Cocktails were soso with full bar. Food was a little hit or miss. Appetizer was full of flavor and texture. Mains were on the small side given price. Veal was tender and full of flavors but too much sauce. Eggplant had way too much cheese. Bread service was good, but oil dip had way too much vinegar and no real flavor. Olive oil and balsamic would have been better. May go again just to give them another chance.

Another amazing service here today. Absolutely loved the fettuccine alfredo and the bread platter - the pesto was amazing!

Party of 2 here on a Saturday evening; seated right away even though the place was definitely busy. Decorated beautifully inside for Christmas. We shared the Bresaola Alla Valtinellese appetizer while enjoying perfectly prepared martinis. Our server was prompt and friendly; great pace throughout our night, no rushing. Hubs had the Lasagna Bolognese and I had the Veal Milanese. We agreed the red sauce is indeed delicious. Don't forget the yummy warm bread (hubs asked for extra) and the crispy fresh mixed greens beet salad. We would definitely return!

    Bread? $8

8 ravioli for $34. I have been going to Machiavelli for decades (in Seattle). This is such a sad down grade. I'm bummed. And we paid for bread... $7..... why? I guess I'll stick with Bucatinni. Which is consistently fabulous.

Chicken parmesan sandwich & chicken milanese sandwich!

Visited this restaurant yesterday with my partner for lunch - oh my goodness, SOOOOO GOOD. First of all, the service was great, our waiter was super friendly and attentive. The ambience was lovely, it was a sunny day out and we got to sit next to the window and people watch while we ate. Very very cute place, clean and comfortable. Our food was delicious - we were craving sammies, so I got the special, which was a chicken parmesan sandwich! I loved everything about it - the chicken was cooked perfectly, yummy gooey cheese, and a nice homemade marinara sauce on it + more sauce on the side. Very good portion size, I got to take a little home which tasted just as good the next day. My partner got the chicken milanese sandwich - it was refreshing because of the arugula and cherry tomatoes on it, and the chicken was perfectly breaded! My partner especially liked the bread, because he hates when sandwiches have overly hard / crunchy bread that's hard to bite into - this place doesn't have that. :) We shared a caesar salad, the dressing was super good, and they put freshly ground pepper on top which is a nice touch. We will definitely be coming back for dinner sometime to try their pasta! One of our new favorite Edmonds spots. :)

Caesar with anchovies and orange Italian soda

5 stars for service and the overall ambiance 5 stars for the Italian sodas and salads 3 stars for the food itself Hubs and I popped by the Saturday after Valentine's Day for our evening out. He has been researching all of the local Italian eateries knowing that I am a gnoochi lover and have been craving it since one of our first Valentine's dinners. Hands down the service is very friendly and we were seated right away - though we arrived early to ensure we weren't waiting too long on purpose. We sort of knew what we wanted ahead of time so that made our ordering a lot faster than usual. The salads came out and were very fresh - hubs added anchovies to his (ick! haha!) and enjoyed his Ceasar very much. Not wanting to drink, we went with Italian sodas, both were very good and exactly what we needed, even if we were going to head over to Molly Moon's after! The mains came flying out after. Hubs very much enjoyed his carbonara while my gnocchi was sadly bland and VERY mushy. the gnocchi held their shape until I tried to eat them, at which point they melted into a goopy, gummy mess. As someone who makes gnocchi from scratch often, it definitely should not goop into a weird wet clay. The sauce was also not right, it seemed too watery, and even with the added cracked pepper and Kraft parmesan (not freshly shredded), there was no flavor. I don't know if it's because of growing up in Chicago or from years of having homemade pasta but yeah - maybe we will be back to try the pizza? At least he enjoyed his pasta and everything else was great.

They are still making the best Italian food in all of Puget Sound. We were regulars at the original Seattle location and this one in Edmonds is 100% spot on for flavor and experience. The spaghetti and meatballs is heavenly. Perfect location for date night.

The ambiance its making me super happy by the time we step in. very nice restaurant. The food its delicious. But im very sad with the service. The server asking if we want the drink to be on the rocks or not? And we said yes. But the drink dont come "on the rocks". So We ask the server with the beidge color shirt, and he said our drinks its on the rocks. While on the rocks means a drink is served over ice cubes. When our drink its served on beer glass with ice that already crush or shake together with the drink. If the drink dont come in options "on the rocks" we're totally okay. Maybe saying "my apologies, the drink don't come in options on the rocks, should i make a change" or anything. But the server with the beige shirt teaching us that our drinks is served "on the rocks". It looks like he's teaching us back about our order. while our server its the one giving us the options for that. I do feel embarrassed about this. But it's ok. This place its just not going to be to our recommendation because of the server. Also the server should not took the menu and read whats inside the dish in front of us. When i firm about what i order. I think we are very in awkward situation. The server should more knowledge about the menu more than us.

The biggest problem was the focaccia appetizer and it was embarrassing! Focaccia is typically a nice thick slice of bread with spices on top. Not Fire and the Feast focaccia! It looked like wet Melba toast. Maybe a 1/4 thick with no spices on top. Why would you put something like that on a menu, let alone on a table for people to eat? I have had a service issue the last time I was there and only returned to get Brady to serve us. I do not see myself returning to the Fire and the Feast after a second disappointment of the worst focaccia appetizer! I am not tempting strike 3. Here is what Google says about Focaccia: Focaccia is a soft, flat Italian bread known for its dimpled surface, chewy texture, and rich olive oil flavor, often topped with herbs, salt, and other ingredients like vegetables or cheese. I suggest you either share this with your kitchen or take it off the menu.

We noticed the same thing at several other restaurants nearby as well, since many people had already celebrated and spent money over the weekend. It was not a smash burger at all but a full-on double patty hamburger that was dripping in sauce. What a letdown! A total fail, although it tasted ok, but for $22, I expected much more.
