    Chicken Gyro Plate

Amazing! Walked in to pick up my order and the woman behind the counter was finishing cooking it, service was fast and friendly. Only took ten mins from the phone call to pickup. I lovedddd my chicken gyro! My bf lived his chicken gyro plate, both an amazing price for the portion. Other people were inside the restaurant too, not too quiet and good vibes!

Not sure if they're related to the spot south near Renton, but regardless they definitely make gyros. Visited off a recommendation from my good friends at Alfi Real Estate (shoutout Mike) as they just recently opened. Overall delicious food with fantastic service, so very happy to welcome them to Edmonds. Some price bias as I loved the Greek options near U-District and those options are friendlier for college budgets, so I thought prices were a little higher, but the quality is high. Gyro Plate - was starving after surviving on matcha for the day and this filled me up. Could be made into one and a half (or two) meals. Well balanced flavors, savory, salty, and slight sourness from the tomatoes and tzatziki. Rice was a bit plain underneath the layering and mixing didn't quite get all the grains. May benefit from some sauce immediately above the rice, sandwiched below meat but still very tasty.

I met the owner and he was wonderful. His cook was a special kind of guy too. Both very likable because they were so personable. They had only been open 2 weeks. I was getting something from the UPS store in the same storefront, and although I had something else in mind for lunch, I decided to give Gyro Makers a chance. I figured at the very least it would make it easy for me to just hop back on the ferry without navigating my way through Edmonds and Lynnwood in search of a somewhere to have lunch. The restaurant is super clean it has a nice "gyro restaurant" ambiance about it. The menu was extensive enough, but I was only going to get either a gyro sandwich or salad. And I settled on the salad with the beef and lamb combo. I'll try the chicken one the next time. The portion was ridiculously large, but you paid that price for it. So literally I think I'll have three meals out of it. Today which i've already enjoyed. Tomorrow where the flavors will probably be more connected. And the day after, if it's still good and I'll have to check and make sure. But that's how much food they gave me! I will say that while it was good the flavors weren't quite as sharp as what I'm used to with greek food. A little more pungent punctuated flavors, the kind that leave your mouth still tasting it for at least a a little bit of time after the meal is done, was not quite there. I'm just pointing that out, and not actually complaining. Joseph, the owner, asked me if I like falafel, and I don't. And he was going to offer me a sample, so of course I took it, and because it's pretty rare for me to turn down free food. Anyway it was quite delicious. It wasn't as dry as I am familiar with falafel everywhere else I have had it. The fact that it was moist was very appealing but it was also different. When I took a bite and looked at the inside, it was green. Yes, the color green. I'm used to biting into falafel in it being brown all the way through. I'm not sure what the ingredients were. I was in a rush to get out to grab that ferry real quick, so I didn't take the time to ask. But it was actually quite good, enough that I actually might order it someday. Even though this is a newer restaurant in Edmonds, they have some experience because they've owned a restaurant in Renton the past four years. I wish them the best. I'll return occasionally when when I am that side of the water from time to time.

Friendly service and the best chicken gyro salad! You can taste the quality and I love the variation of herbs and spices and veggies in the salad. The yogurt sauce they put on top was so yummy. This is my new go to Greek spot. I can't wait to try more of their food.

Greek fries and beef and lamb shawarma

Came here on a Sunday evening and we were serviced very quickly. The staff were very friendly. They gave us lentil soup on the house while we waited for our food, and we thought that was very generous of them. (Which was delicious and flavorful btw!) We got the chicken gyro, beef and lamb shawarma, and two sides of fries, one being the Greek fries. Everything was very good, 10/10! No complaints at all. The meat in the shawarma was not greasy at all, the chicken was juicy, and everything tasted fresh. The side of fries was large enough for 2 people to share, so we really could've gotten away with ordering just one. Definitely coming back and recommending my friends to this place. (Forgot to take pictures of everything was too excited to eat)

My girlfriend and I had been anxiously awaiting the grand opening of this new place. They've been open a little over a week now, and they certainly did not disappoint! Kind and welcoming as we entered, and clean as a whistle inside (everything is brand new). We ordered a shawarma wrap and a gyro. Both were very generous portions, and well-seasoned. Eager to impress, they also offered us some lentil soup free of charge, which was appreciated on a chilly day. Hearty and delicious. I plan to be a regular. :-)

There were a few other people at 11:30am We asked if they do lunch buffet as I didn't see any self serve food. The staff said they offered in the past but not today.. it might come back in 2 weeks? We ordered hummus, garlic naan, fish masala and special kebabs without lamb which was accommodated per our request. The food even the side veggies were really good, we all liked everything. I like this place for good quality fresh ingredients that I don't feel overstuffed. It's probably because the food is easy to digest? This doesn't happen with other Mediterranean and Indian food. I also asked him to recommend a white wine to go with my lunch. After I placed my order, browsed the variety of quality wines they offer at good price. Here's my riff. These owners clearly have expertise above and beyond their location. As I sat waiting for my food to be individually cooked, I could witness many of the clientele who came in. A crowd preferring their purchase choices to be inexpensive alcohol and chip snacks. A juxtaposition between the food they offer and the clientele I observed. They did an excellent job of catering to the menu ordering crowd and the other shoppers. Unfortunately, many of their clients failed to recognize the quality food being offered them and went with more snack food. The pork slouvaki was my favorite. such vibrant seasonings on the pork and such delicious vegetables that go with this dish. I knew I would want another kebab once I got home, so had to order another. I don't know what white wine they chose for me, but great enough to order a second glass. Spanakopita was good. I am guessing it is deep fried rather than baked. The outer counting of phyllo was overall crispy to me, however enjoyed the cheesy/ spinach insides. The "small" Greek salad with the Slovaki was not small, but two large servings . Tomatoes, romaine, spinach, feta cheese, red onions, cabbage and cauliflower made up a great salad, especially when added with the homemade dressing. Tons of feta cheese. Lastly, pistachio baklava. Nice flavors, but please serve it warm or at least room temperature. The flavors bloom more than when they are not cold. Great baklava once I took it home and warmed it up. Would have spent twice as much at an any other Greek restaurant and had lower quality food. Such a great experience for good food, my first priority.

Unlike many Edmonds establishments, you don't have to make a reservation a month in advance to get a table. We went tonight on a beautiful summer evening and only waited a few minutes to get an outside table. The hosts were clearly young adults/older teenagers and they were so sweet and welcoming. I wish I caught their names! Our waiter (I wish I got his name, too!) was super helpful and attentive. They obviously updated their menu over the past year, because I saw many dishes that I had never seen before. My biggest complaint is just that I wanted to order too many things. I ordered oysters and clam chowder in a bread bowl, but I am definitely going back for the grilled peach bruschetta and the coconut prawns! They also had a killer key lime pie on display that I was sadly too full to eat! We had the best view of the train tracks, the ferry, and divers going in to the sound. We had an overall lovely experience, and will definitely be back. I don't know who their current head chef is, but he or she is doing a killer job! Perhaps my favorite part about this restaurant is that it is actually reasonably priced! You don't necessarily have to pay $40-$50 just for your entree. Also, the menu is so large and diverse that it satisfies both picky foodies (my husband), kids, and people who just like a lot of variety (me). That's a hard thing to do! This place is one of the best spots Edmonds has to offer, year round!

It was not a smash burger at all but a full-on double patty hamburger that was dripping in sauce. What a letdown! A total fail, although it tasted ok, but for $22, I expected much more.
