Me with my food
Levi P.

I stop by this gyro spot every time I'm in the area, and it's honestly one of my favorite places to eat--period. The owner is one of the kindest people you'll meet. He actually remembers me every time I come in, which is rare these days. I helped fix one of his tables once, and ever since then he's gone out of his way to take care of me--always throwing in a little extra, totally unasked. That kind of genuine generosity says everything about how he runs his place. And the food... easily the best gyros I've ever had. Perfectly seasoned meat, fresh ingredients, and everything just hits every time. You can tell it's made with care. Places like this are what local food is all about--great food, great people, and real connection. If you're anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in. You won't regret it.

Beef and lamb gyro
Alden M.

I had the beef & lamb gyro on Saj bread & it was FANTASTIC & FRESH! The server has very nice & so was the interior of the restaurant.

I came in ordered went to my car found hair in my food asked for a refund was told to calm down repeatedly and told he wouldn't give me anything if I came in visibly upset... to then I was threatened with the police when I asked if I'm getting my money or not, this place is nasty!

Lamb and beef shawarma with garlic sauce

This is hands down the BEST spot for gyros/shawarma around. They have everything! I have never had better shawarma!! They have great customer service, are super fast, food comes out hot and they have pineapple cream soda which we love to mix with mango lassi. Very honorable establishment, definitely try this place!! We come here every time we are in the area. Great prices too

Gyro Lamb & Beef Pita
Chris V.

Was really excited to try this place. Ordered their beef and lamb gyro in a pita. The pita was so soft and I was super happy with the amount of well seasoned meat they packed into it. Great balance of flavors. Gyro 5/5. Their greek fries are nothing to rave about though. Soggy and drenched in their aoili which tasted like pure mayo, barely any garlic. Wouldn't order their fries again, but 100% would get another gyro.

Kebab saj

I want to start this off by saying that this place is delicious and you should order almost everything from their menu...Everything except a double portion unless you want to get ripped off. I ordered this kebab saj with a double portion expecting a Chipotle sized saj wrap full of tasty kebab, but this is absolutely ANEMIC! I just paid an extra SIX DOLLARS for NOTHING!!! The food here is absolutely delicious and I intend to eat the whole thing because I am starving but I feel betrayed by my favorite local Mediterranean restaurant. Leaving one extra star for quality of food but y'all need to skimp out less when you see DOUBLE PORTION ON THE TICKET!!!!

Shawarma Lamb & Beef Plate, Large Greek Fries

Great food! I haven't been to the restaurant per say as I've gotten the food delivered. This is the 2nd time I've ordered and their flavors are phenomenal. They're the only place I know that tops their fries (or should I say, Greek fries with garlic sauce!) I'm SUCH a HUGE fan of garlic sauce! Most Greek and Mediterranean places tops theirs with feta cheese and tzatziki sauce but man, garlic sauce triumphs it all! Their lamb and beef is very flavorful. Their plates come with a side salad with pickled beets I think, hummus and a pita bread. Their menu is such a wide variety of gyros, salads, plates, bowls and saj. Saj is similar to a wrap, only cut into pieces. Definitely love this place!

Shawerma skewers. Lamb & chicken

Real authentic Shawarma. One of the best Arabic Shawarmas in town. Very clean space. Great customer service. Delicious and healthy tasting food.

1. Pita Sandwich

Cody got to go from this gyro place one night when I was out, and the next day he could not stop talking about how good it was. So a week later, we ended up grabbing lunch here to go and, I would have to agree, I think we found our favorite gyro spot in Lynnwood! And it is super close to our house! We ordered: - beef lamb meat gyro (I think they call it a sandwich wrab) - gyro fries - Cody got greek fries the first time Cody wasn't that impressed with the gryo fries compared to the Greek fries he had the first time, he said you get more sauce and fries when ordering the Greek fries. I loved my gyro! The ingredients were all very fresh. This place is very clean inside, and they build your meal in front of you, like how Subway and Chiptole does it. I am definitely coming back here!

Gyro Greek Salad
Kristin M.

Very happy to have found a healthy Greek place. We ordered via grub hub for pick up. I felt like portions were good for price. There wasn't a ton of dressing on the salad which I appreciated and the meat was delicious. I'd be happy to try other dishes from here.

Greek Fries

I was recommended this place by my girlfriend. I'm a big fan of Gyro's and Greek fries. The food was perfect, the staff was friendly and the servide was great. I have no complaints and its one of the best gyro places i've been to. I will update if anything changes.

Vegan Falafel Bowl
Natalie M.

Want something delicious for your carnivore and plant based palates? This is the place! Delicious falafel that's totally vegan and my husband said the lamb was super tasty. There's a smaller sit down area and plenty of take out and delivery options. The service was great, as I could see my order being made with care, and healthy servings for the price. There's Pepsi fountain drinks or cans to go.

I also asked him to recommend a white wine to go with my lunch. After I placed my order, browsed the variety of quality wines they offer at good price. Here's my riff. These owners clearly have expertise above and beyond their location. As I sat waiting for my food to be individually cooked, I could witness many of the clientele who came in. A crowd preferring their purchase choices to be inexpensive alcohol and chip snacks. A juxtaposition between the food they offer and the clientele I observed. They did an excellent job of catering to the menu ordering crowd and the other shoppers. Unfortunately, many of their clients failed to recognize the quality food being offered them and went with more snack food. The pork slouvaki was my favorite. such vibrant seasonings on the pork and such delicious vegetables that go with this dish. I knew I would want another kebab once I got home, so had to order another. I don't know what white wine they chose for me, but great enough to order a second glass. Spanakopita was good. I am guessing it is deep fried rather than baked. The outer counting of phyllo was overall crispy to me, however enjoyed the cheesy/ spinach insides. The "small" Greek salad with the Slovaki was not small, but two large servings . Tomatoes, romaine, spinach, feta cheese, red onions, cabbage and cauliflower made up a great salad, especially when added with the homemade dressing. Tons of feta cheese. Lastly, pistachio baklava. Nice flavors, but please serve it warm or at least room temperature. The flavors bloom more than when they are not cold. Great baklava once I took it home and warmed it up. Would have spent twice as much at an any other Greek restaurant and had lower quality food. Such a great experience for good food, my first priority.

Not the traditional gyro but an interpretation. It was alright. Strange sitting in a vape…read moreshop/grocery/food place. They were polite and efficient We were hungry so we ate. Other places are around but I'd try their other offerings next time we are in the area.

Prices were reasonable and they had a wonderful array of unique spices, fresh cheeses and fresh baklava! When I told the gentleman at the counter I had never tasted Bulgarian cheese, he offered me a taste, and boy was it delicious! I am on a quest to make more Mediterranean dishes and they have most of the ingredients I would need that are not readily available in my local grocery - I will be back! What nice people too!

They have a small refrigerated section that had various cheeses, a few prepared frozen items, and various meats, falafel, and gyro slices. They also had an assortment of plates and dishes, and other items that could be considered gifts. Prices were reasonable, especially for items that I'm sure they pay to import. I bought a huge jar of Green oregano for $5.99. They didn't have much in the deli case, but I tried the baklava, which I found to be flavorful, but very dry (perhaps old). Will definitely revisit this place to try some of their other items.

Shawarma Time is one of the few places in the PNW that makes chicken shawarma sandwiches in the…read moretraditional Lebanese-style - with bread, toum, chicken, and pickles. No tomato. No lettuce. No cucumber, no other filler like all the "Mediterranean" Middle-Eastern/Greek fusion restaurants that permeate the area. As an additional sign of authenticity - they serve complementary warm sweet black tea! I believe they also only serve bottle water, which they charge for (it might surprise people, but this is yet another mark of authenticity). I've been looking for a place like this ever since moving here from Dearborn, MI! Walking in for a weekday lunch, I saw several people come in for takeout orders, but I was the only person eating in. Chicken Shawarma Wrap ($12.95) - This is a traditionally made chicken shawarma wrap, consisting of only chicken shawarma, pickles, and toum wrapped up in bread. The bread in this case is saj, a thin almost flour tortilla-like bread. It's not quite as pliable as a tortilla, instead enveloping all the ingredients in a warm coating. The menu lists this as "fresh baked" but that's definitely a misnomer. It's more factory produced, possibly weeks ago, given the heavy dough conditioner and preservative taste. The saj is what I disliked about this shawarma sandwich the most. They give a substantial portion of chicken, more than enough protein to satisfy. The seasoning blend they use is sublime, it's earthy and warm, savory and salty, and it brings me right back to Dearborn. The meat is freshly shaved off the spit with an electric shaver (rather than by knife as the traditionalists would do it). It's not particularly moist, but isn't dried out either. They don't add enough toum in the sandwich to overcome this deficiency - it's applied in a thin layer that's barely noticeable inside. Luckily they serve a small cup of toum on the side that's enough for the sandwich - if only they added it inside instead of being essentially a dip! The toum itself is a higher tier one for my tastes. It's heavily garlicky, almost having a pungent sweaty kind of aroma. There doesn't seem to be too much filler at all inside, and while the spiciness is tempered, the garlic is full flavored. The consistency more resembles a paste than a sauce - my preference is to be even more paste-like than this, but the toum here is still great. There are a couple of pickles inside giving some acidity and a slightly crisp bite. Again, they don't add too much of it - I'm actually used to more pickle and less meat in shawarma sandwiches. The entire wrap is pressed and warmed, enough to get some of the saj to develop a crackly crispy edge. The sandwich is served with a couple of olives and two strange orange colored pickles. Super salty and slightly acidic, but somewhat floppy. (5/5) Shawarma Time serves some of the most authentic shawarma that I've found in the Seattle Metro. People who are used to Mediterranean Gyro-fusion shawarma might not enjoy the kind of service and amenities Shawarma Time provides, but for me, I'll definitely be visiting again for more.
