Delicious! Quality is always good! Staff is friendly, courteous, and accommodating. It's not a large place but it's adequate space for 4 people to dine comfortably. I've had their original, New York, and Greek gyros. They're all good but my current fave is the Greek one. The portions are quite large so that's a plus for leftovers or if you're really hungry. Had to go w a middle of the road rating. We ordered the "kraken" sandwiches. The food is tasty but the way my "spicy" lamb shawarma came, it wasn't spicy nor was it edible as a gyro. Too much sauce. Extremely messy upon unwrapping. And wasn't wrapped properly so had to eat it w a fork and knife and really didn't get to enjoy it w the soft pita because it was soggggyyyyy. I know, i know, your gonna say the description does say extra everything but there's extra and EXTRA & it's still a gyro and i should be able to use my hands and not have it oozing out of the wrap. I think I'd also skip the fries inside too. Husband and daughter had the classic gyros. Baklava was fair. Not great not bad. A little dry. I've had lots of baklava & made by Greeks in my life so I have a good baseline. If ur hungry and want a quick fix then this place will do. I'd skip the kraken and go for a traditional gyro if what you want is more of a hand held sandwich experience. Moderately price and good portion too. Got a New York style beef gyro and fries and it's was incredible. Huge portions, tons a flavor and great tasting sauce which in my belief is important in a Gyro. The ambiance of the dining area is simple but comfortable and although there were other people eating, we had not problem finding a table and enjoying conversation. The young woman that took our order at the counter was very friendly, patient, and helpful. Was glad to make suggestions and answer any questions we had. The food came out quickly, was fresh, and there was a lot of it! Felt that we got a lot of food for the price compared to other shawarma restaurants we've eaten at like Aleppo. Service: ordered ahead via Yelp and was super disappointed. Yelp said the order was ready, showed up to the restaurant, and was told it was an additional 20 minute wait. Unsure why the restaurant would mark it is done when it is 20 minutes away from being finished. Half the food was cold too which was odd. The food itself was very good. We got the gyro plates and the fries. The fries were good and a huge portion size, although they were cold and soggy when we went to eat them. This is a very good gyro place on Seattle Hill road. I ordered hummus and then the regular beef and lamb pita. The hummus was nice and creamy and the pitas tasted fresh and were warm. The pita itself was tasty with a generous portion of meat (kind of too much, I would have liked more tomato). My friend had the shawarma plate and also enjoyed that. Thought I'd try something other than the gyro chain down the street and really wish I'd just stuck with the familiar! First off, we did an online order. I walked in the store to be told they didn't have the order. They checked and it had come in but didn't print. The girl said they'd been having that problem a lot lately. Seems like something they'd want to fix. I'd understand more if it was rush hour, but there was no one in the restaurant, so maybe check that occasionally? On to the food- it was okay. Not great. The garlic mayo was heavy and plain. I ordered the chicken gyro, which was the greatest disappointment. The meat was not like what is seen in the pictures, so maybe they changed it? It's not diced chicken, but more the consistency of the beef and lamb shavings you would find in a lamb gyro. Just wasn't a fan. Also, the lettuce, tomato, onion was barely noticeable and was underneath the warm chicken stuff. I think I counted 4 little pieces of tomato. Came for another one of the meeting with our construction manager for the new built. Had to go pick up my pup all the way in seattle after and needed some food. This pops up as a new spot. And new it was, 6 days old! Place was deceiving from outside but inside is gorgeous! I wasn't even sure they were open from outside. It's nice, bright, clean and very welcoming. Lady at the counter was super nice. I haven't had a lot of gyros but this was actually pretty darn good. I got it with beef shawarma: came with French fries inside. The whole shebang! We love Greek food, just about all types. I was really excited when I saw the "coming soon" sign. My excitement carried over when I entered the newly built location. The interior looked good, the food people were enjoying look good, and the menu offered the expected choices at a reasonable price. Then the disappointment started. I ordered a Gyro Salad The price was fine; however, the meal was not. It was kinda small, virtually all lettuce with little toppings. All was not lost; the Gyro Lamb meat was delicious (the only saving grace). Moral of the story, if you want $14 worth of lettuce this is for you. If you want a real Greek salad, go elsewhere. The gyros are legit with very generous meat portions but I only had one half of one slice of a tomato on my greek gyro. Wish there had been more to balance it out. The gyros were packaged well for transport home. No spillage. Yay! My husband loved the fresh and tasty dolmas. Fries were cooked very well but I wish they could find an alternative to the styrofoam packaging. We appreciated that it only took 15 min from the time we placed our takeout order. Authentic Middle-East fusion atmosphere and not-so-fast restaurant food. Can't miss the prominently displayed rendering of the Kaaba in Mecca. I skipped opening day and returned for lunch around 1:45ish. It was ready in a little over a half hour (3 orders in front of mine, and two dine-in families. The Kraken is a good value. I got lamb shawarma ($12) to go. Next time I return I will either share the king's plate ($25 on menu, $26 on grubhub) with spouse or I will risk disappointment and try a kraken lamb gyro for $10. Kraken had no tomato but came with a few fries squished on top so I ate those first with some added ketchup. Delicious and not overdone. Then I pushed half of the lamb and fillings onto a feta topped tortilla to fry for dinner, and I ate the now-more-manageable extra delicious pita for lunch.
