Gyro Plate split meat with a small Greek Salad 4/5 on all

Inside third place books. Walk up to order. Lots of places to sit. Quick service. It's easy for a quick bite and not bad but I'll plan ahead better next time and grab something else before hitting up Vulpine.

Replaced the BBQ spot. Now Gyro Boss (7/12/25)

I had stopped by Lake Forest Town Center to visit both the adjacent bookstore and bakery on 7/12/25. This time I decided to check out Gyro Boss. It's been around since 2021 and seems to continue to do brisk business at their counter. Nice person at the register. I decided on the gyro sandwich to eat onsite. This was a very tasty gyro, generously filled pita with tender lamb/beef gyro meat and fresh veggies, delicious! I also I appreciated the fork provided to savor each bite. If you're having a Mediterranean food craving, whether casual dining onsite or ordered takeout, definitely stop by Gyro Boss!

I got the lamb shawarma plate! It was super yummy! It was 17.99 for the plate with generous portions. The lamb was good! I enjoyed my dish! It's right next to Third Place Books. Super convenient to browse through books, then grab a bite to eat!

Got the hummus plate with chicken and gyro plate with chicken. Both were excellent and big portions. The people worked there were also friendly. It was my 1st time coming here and I had some trouble finding the place as there was no physical sign. It is located in the lake town center and part of the small food court next to the third place book store.

My brother and I have been coming here for years. The best Mediterranean food and great service. 100/10 recommend

This was so good! My friend and I got takeout and we shared a few things. We got a gyro wrap, falafel plate, and Greek fries topped with chicken. The wrap was SO good! Everything was great, somehow the fries stayed totally crispy on the drive home even with a ton of toppings. The men working were really friendly when I went up to get my order. I was surprised to find this was inside a little strip mall and I had a bit of trouble locating it so if you enter from downstairs you just need to go up the escalator.

Loveddddddd this spot in a food hall. I loved the Chicken Shwarma sandwich and the Greek Fries were a perfect salty delight. Lots of food options, a classic Greek treat. Service was kind and fast! Gonna get the falafel and baklava next time!!!

This is my first time here. With the name Gyro Boss, I had to have the basic gyro. SERVICE They were fast and friendly. Great job FOOD It was good, exactly as expected. At first I thought it looked lettuce heavy but underneath was a generous portion of meat VALUE At $10 in the Seattle area, I would say it was a good value

Gyro Boss is boss! It's so bomb! I discovered this place as I needed a quick dinner before an event I was attending nearby and Gyro Boss was a wonderful find. I would definitely eat here again when in the area. Gyro Boss is located inside the business strip/mall where Third Place Books is in Lake Forest Park. In fact, it's one of the eateries adjacent to Third Place Books, which works out well for anyone looking for a bite to eat before and after book browsing. It was busy because of the event, but despite how busy it was, the food came out soon after it was cooked and finished preparing. I ordered the kefta salad, which was sooo delicious! The meat had that tasty, chargrilled flavor and was tender and juicy. The salad was so fresh, and loved that it came Greek style, with more cucumbers as the base than lettuce. My friend ordered the fries with her gyro, and the fries were double dipped, which are my favorite kind of fries! Gahhh, I need to eat here again!

I love this place! I've been going to Third Place Books for many years and have witnessed so many changes. It's nice to see that Gyro Boss is a mainstay! The employees are always in a good mood, professional and kind no matter how busy they get. The food has been and continues to be so delicious! I absolutely love the crew and how positive they always are and you can guarantee your food will always be yummy!

Hidden in Thirds Place Books store this hidden gem is convenient and delicious. The service was quick with a good portion of food. Lots of ample seating share with other vendors in the store.

    Do you have indoor/outdoor seating?

There is plenty of indoor seating as this is in the Lake Forest Park Town Center. You can sit close to others or far away. As far as outdoors go, there are a couple tables and a couple benches, however I don't see many people use them :)

The moment we walked in, we were greeted with free samples (hummus, baba ganoush, Turkish delight... yes please) and the kindest hospitality. The owner actually came over and chatted with us, shared where he's from, and even offered us Turkish coffee and Moroccan mint tea, which instantly reminded me of my trip to Morocco. We ordered the lamb gyro, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it's one of the best I've had in Seattle. Super flavorful, generously portioned, and just hits the spot. Also ended up buying couscous, harissa, fig jam, and olives from the store section, everything felt really authentic. Special shoutout to Hiba for being so warm and welcoming! Honestly, this place feels less like a store and more like a community spot. If you're in Seattle, don't skip this, come for the food, stay for the people.

There's no other terms on them that specify what qualifies for the coupons. I've had no previous issues redeeming the $2 off any entree coupon on items off their menu. However, one day the worker at that moment decided he wanted to be slimy over a tiny $3 difference and said the gyro platter ISN'T an entree. He was pushing to upsell me to use the $5 off $20 coupon and kept saying the $2 off is only for items in the deli case. I probably should have walked away, but I was hungry and already there, so I agreed to get upsold and added baklava ($5+, but $6+ after taxes) to my order to reach $20+. I should have just ordered only the gyro platter because I wasn't saving any money at all at that point. The baklava wasn't that great because it wasn't even fresh. I've also had hard pieces of rice in my meal before. I don't think that's the standard? Basically this place is a hit or miss depending on who's working that day.

Before heading to the park, I stopped by Sultan Gyro and Shawarma Grill in Shoreline, around 1:30pm to grab a bite. While I was looking forward to the meal, my interaction with the young man at the register left me feeling uncomfortable. When I used the term "lavash," he responded with a smirk and corrected me, calling it a "tortilla," in a way that felt unnecessarily dismissive. I did appreciate the cook's friendlier demeanor and was glad he completed my order, as I didn't feel up to continuing the conversation with the cashier. As I was leaving, the cashier called out "have a nice day" in a tone that felt more combative than kind--an unfortunate way to end the visit. As someone who is neurodivergent, I value environments where staff are mindful and inclusive. Seattle is generally a place that embraces diversity, and I hope that leadership can improve its customer service training to reflect that spirit. Unfortunately, I don't see myself returning, but I do hope my feedback helps bring about a more welcoming experience for others in the future.

Padria: Where Old Family Recipes Meet Modern Kirkland…read more At Padria in Juanita Village, every dish is a taste of legacy. This family-run restaurant is built on a foundation of old family recipes, passed down through generations and now shared with the Pacific Northwest. The Food: A Taste of Tradition For a perfect light dinner that bridges both worlds, order the Chicken Kabob (marinated the Persian way with saffron) served over their bright Greek Salad instead of rice.
