They have such creative coffee drinks! I got the honeycomb latte and the flavors shine without being too sweet. I also got their new savory breakfast offering, the Breakfast Wrap, with bacon. Whidby is less than ten minutes from our house. We love to pick up our drinks and then head over to Picnic Point. The girls are very nice. Our drinks are always good everytime . The temperature of our drinks is always perfect, not too hot. Perfect for drinking right away. My partner likes his caramel latte to not taste like burnt milk and they do a phenomenal job, and the drink isn't too sweet. I always order the matcha latte with oatmilk and honey. They make a great matcha, the matcha is mixed well that I have never had any clumps when drinking. They also add the right amount of honey that I can taste the matcha flavor. We love coming here. In long I've been meaning to try this place forever due to the high rates, but I almost always finish drinking coffee for the day with what I make at home. Finally pulled in to the drive-through lane yesterday to check it out. It gets busy here, even with 4 windows (2 on each side) and every one of them staffed. They seem to have a really long menu and take lots of special orders; the person in front of me ordered before I pulled in and was still there 2 minutes after I got my coffee, waiting for one drink that was very colorful and fancy-looking. As a drip-coffee drinker, this kinda cracks me up, and I wouldn't mind not being behind people like this in line. Definitely not Whidbey's fault at all, though. You pay with a little hand-held deal, and you can tip based on % or custom. All standard. The kid was super quick and super friendly. My drip coffee was maybe a bit on the over-roasted side, but that's almost every place's standard for drip coffee anymore. You have to seek out the geekier places to actually taste beans rather than roast. I'd hit this place up again for sure, and very happily. read more

I am not kidding when I say I've driven upwards of 2 hours to go to whidbey coffee. Before I knew they had a location in Mukilteo (found them on a random trip to anacortes) I would drive from Seattle to Anacortes to get it. They are the best!! People are always nice and even though I live an hour away from the Mukilteo location I go there at least 3 times a month. Great coffee, great food. read more

Local coffee brewer. Makes the best cold brew around. I have tried the majority of other branded cold brews in a can. Whidbey is far most the best. Service is always friendly and engaging. Service that is almost gone from most other Coffee shops. They are only interested in volume - speedy sales. They also sell signature k cups with Whidbey Island favorite blend. A wonderful option. Our local Starbucks closed for remodeling so we had to find a new place. I don't really enjoy coffee because it is either too bitter or too sweet to cover the bitterness. But it has become a habit I indulge in pretty regularly. We decided to stop and try this place and I'm so glad we did. The service is friendly and quick. Every drink we have ordered has been well made. To start the base of all the drinks is the coffee and these beans are smooth. None of the burnt taste that other places have. They have a good variety of flavours for their syrups so there are a lot of good combinations that can be made. I get oat milk in my drinks and I believe that is a dollar extra, which is a little steep but I'm not going to gripe when the coffee is this good. It's also nice to support a local small business. We will definitely keep coming back and I suggest you give them a try. read more

Everett seems to be devoid of good coffee, so I often just opt for Starbucks. But I decided to give Whidbey Coffee a whirl since they are drive-thru and are right by my office. Meh. Super cute and homey upon driving up, but the drinks I got were not that great. I went with a nonfat hot chocolate that tasted like chemicals...and my friend's soy chai was too sweet. Not bad coffee. I don't normally review chains but figured I would. I ordered a London fog with some lavender, and an iced Americano with white chocolate and cream. The coffee was good... but I was pretty disappointed because my London fog was made with English breakfast rather than earl grey. They should usually default with earl grey.. Kinda put me off :( Two drinks were 8 dollars so not necessarily cheap. But a decent place. read more

Very nice drive through coffee hut. Coffee was very good, lots of fresh backed goods (muffins, scones, flat muffins), lady was friendly and helpful. Blueberry scone was large, and tasted more like a cake than a standard scone. Maybe too much baking soda (?), but I like that they prepare their own pastries instead of selling the same brand sweets as all the other coffee huts do. They share a large parking lot with the hardware store, so you can find a spot to drink your coffee without being in the way. read more
