Eventually it does get monotonous for me. Recommend sharing it. Cardamom twist was the least favorite item. I'm not sure what it was but there was an essence of something in the background that threw the flavor off for me. I can't seem to describe it. The twist was slightly doughy/stodgy for me. Maybe part of an off batch. I typically do like cardamom centered things. This wasn't my favorite is all I can say. One suggestion I would hope gets implemented is cost of goods displayed for each item. I can say I was surprised at the total during check out. I do go to a lot of bakeries, cafes and artisanal shops. I always felt more at ease knowing what I was getting into from a financial standpoint. Tip is to look at their discounted items. So after lunch, we walked along First Street looking at a few antique stores on our way to Snohomish Coffee Co. It turned out to be a fun local place with a busy crowd being helped by the two guys behind the counter. They were both very friendly and told us they opened just 4 days ago (Saturday, 3/29/2025). They had tried to start with a coffee cart but were told the city didn't allow those in this area. Just as well for all of us as the place is very large inside with a high 2 story interior and an ideal corner location. Their menu and display items at the counter offer things like pastries, muffins, cookies and avocado toast. While there we had an Iced Macchiato and a hot chocolate. Snoho Coffee seems focused on natural flavorings, grain-free and vegan items as well. They even used a date syrup to mimic the caramel flavor for the Macchiato used by most other coffee shops. Overall, it is a nice addition to the Downtown Snohomish scene and should do well. Give it a try!
