The owners are very knowledgeable and open to any questions and recommendations. I had their elderberry currant, organic elderberry immune blend and turmeric for wellness. Impressed with the quality of their tea leaves and blends you can't buy this over the counter at grocery stores. The elderberry immune blend was highly recommended to me by the gentleman who worked there it has been my daily wellness tea during this terrible flu season. If there's a good tea for your ailment, it's worth a try. The price is about $4.95 to $5.10 per ounce. When I get a 4 ounce bag, it lasts a long time well over a month since I get multiple steeps out of each teaspoonful of leaves. Friends had me try the creamed earl grey it's simply divine with the vanilla notes. It can be a wait if they are busy the online method with Apple Pay option is definitely the way to go if you know what you want. I really like the 20 percent discount if you get the 12 ounce size. This is a cute little shop. They have all kinds of tea and spices. They sell tea cups and tea pots and all things related to tea. The people that work there and the owners are super nice people. I visited a few times when I was up in Washington state. Now I just order off their website. I am very picky about my tea and I have been very happy with everything I've gotten from them. The only thing that doesn't make me happy is the $11.75 shipping fee on my order. They did not have options for cheaper & slower shipping methods. They sent it two day mail. read more

This establishment has excellent tea choices! They also offer tea to go, so you can pick any of the tea's in the store and get a cup brewed for you. This is an great way to try out new tea flavors before you commit to buying a big amount. The last time we went I got a black tea with licorice, and my wife got a Persian tea with cardamom. Both were very tasty! The shop also has some organic teas, and some wellness teas. I should mention that there is not any room to sit. I went here for the first time yesterday afternoon [so fortunate to be able to find a parking spot two doors down from it]. This is an amazing place! As soon as one opens the door - the wonderful aromas of teas greet you. There are teas everywhere!!!! I spent about 2 minutes just soaking in the wonderful smells - filling all the pores of myself. When the wonderful lady at the counter [the owner's mother] asked me what I was looking for and I said peppermint tea, she immediately came around the counter and found this totally spectacular rooibos peppermint tea for me. As soon as she opened the jar I knew that was the tea for me. The lady was so kind and friendly. And she was absolutely right - that rooibos tea is meant for me. There are a few tables and chairs so that people can sit and enjoy drinking tea there - without having to take it outside. I really like that part. So, this is NOT just a tea shop where one can buy loose leaf tea - it's also a tea shop where one can order a cup or two of tea, and sit down at a table and chairs and enjoy the tea. I found the atmosphere of the place a lot nicer than going to Starbucks! And unlike Starbucks, where there is a limited menu of teas to drink, here one can choose from about 100 teas. A great tea shop in quaint downtown Snohomish! They seem to have between 200 and 300 types of teas, the majority of which are bulk teas by the ounce ($2 and up per ounce, most under $4). They also have imported teas and boxes of teabags, lots of infusers and tea paraphernalia, and fancy boxes of biscuits and sweets. I was particularly excited to see several flavors of Harney & Sons, because I'd heard a lot about them but wanted to try it out before committing to an expensive tin. They also have many flavors of Metropolitan Tea Co. I tried some Lady Londonderry and couldn't resist a French caramel brulee that smelled amazing. Although the tea seems competitively priced, some of the accessories seem marked up rather high (they charge $5.50 for a package of disposable fill-your-own teabags that I get at Daiso for $1.50). But I guess you're also paying for their expertise and helpfulness, and the owner was friendly and helpful, happy to talk about the different kinds of teas with me and the best way to prepare them. With a wide range of teas to suit every taste, this is a fun place to stop whether you're a beginning tea drinker or a tea expert. They even have kid-friendly herbal/fruit tisanes for non-tea-drinkers! I'd combine it with a visit to one of the several cupcake shoppes just down the street for the full teatime experience. read more

I've never actually been to the everything tea location, so my review is based on ordering offline and gifts that I've received of Gina's tea. My mom gets her tea from her and gave me some to try...it was amazing! Now being in pandemic, it's been challenging to get into a shop. I was able to order off their site and get next day delivery. Amazing! Definitely will continue supporting this small business and their wonderful tea selections. My South African boyfriend was even able to get a great selection in rooibos from here. read more

I willingly drive 17 miles out of my way to visit this store, which is in the historic district of old Snohomish. Believe me, it's entirely worth it to make a day of it on a lazy weekend, travel out to Snohomish for breakfast or brunch, and then spend an hour or so browsing Everything Tea and catching up with the proprietors. Everything Tea has a very respectable selection that more than adequately covers the main general types of tea: black, oolong, and green. Pu-ehrs, white, and yellow teas are also available. Likewise, tea is available in brick, tou-cha, and rolled forms. Additionally, there are flavored varieties of tea as well as herbal tisanes and other tea alternatives, such as rooibos. The owners are personable and, more importantly, they know their trade quite well: they can give you expert advice on how properly to brew any given variety. If you're going to invest in a high quality green, for example, it will pay to inquire as to how to brew it if you're unfamiliar with the process. The pricing is a treat: as has been mentioned by a previous reviewer, you will pay quite substantially less for tea of equal or greater quality than you'd pay at a chi-chi mall retailer, plus there's a percentage discount system whereby you can save a good bit more by buying larger amounts. I buy my lapsang souchong by the kilo here as a result, and it's an absolute steal. Speaking of lapsang -- for those who love it, Everything Tea carries a variety called Lapsang Zhivago, which is particularly smokey. Try it out if you're an aficionado. I love this store! It is a small store run by a married couple with literally hundreds of loose leaf tea choices. Some of thier teas can be quite expensive, but most are not. Teas that are on special are generally great buys. You can also buy tea accesories here, but they are usually better priced somewhere else. Full Disclosure - I'm not a professional tea drinker, but my wife is. However, IMO this place is incredible. There are over 200 types of tea's to purchase, sample, smell, and look at. The staff is very nice, accommodating, and not pushy at all. Prices seem to be pretty reasonable, from $2-5 per oz. of tea - depending on quality, rarity, etc. There are lots of tea sets, kettles, etc. from all over the world. Very impressive. Again, I'm not a huge tea drinker but I can certainly appreciate the amount of time, dedication, and seriousness they have put into their business. read more

As many times as I have been to Snohomish, I had never seen EVERYTHING TEA before. My friend, Leona, brought me there. We walked through the door and I had to pause to take it all in. It smells so good! I kept pointing things out, "Look at this! Check this out!" I love cats, and wouldn't you know they have cat tea pots, cat cups, even cat tea balls! For those who prefer other animals, there is plenty there for you. Elephants, monkeys, frogs...you name it. I even found a teeny tiny tea set. The whole thing fit into 2-3 inch box. I've priced loose teas at other places...I was pleasantly surprised to see their prices. Even somebody, like me, on a shoestring budget can afford to buy a lot of tea there. It's called "Everything" Tea but it's really just a place to buy loose tea leaves - and not much else. It's a little misleading, but still a cute shop. I appreciate that everything is well labeled. I love a good blend, but I want to know exactly what's in it. I wish the staff would be a little less stand offish. It's actually kind of creepy just having them stand there at the counter all stiff while I look around at the different teas. You could offer to start getting one ready while I continue looking so I don't have to remember 4 or 5 different teas in my head to tell you when I'm finished. You could come over and maybe give me some recommendations or ask what I like. You could... I don't know.. move? Wow! My hubby and I were in Snohomish for the day to dodge the rain and check out all the cute shops on their main street in this historic town. We went into this shop because we love tea (my husband was born in England!) and tea is easy to pack and bring home. Anyway, what a surprise this shop was with more varieties of tea than you can imagine and great prices too. We purchased the Orange Creamsicle and the Chocolate Raspberry Truffle (in fact I'm drinking that right how!). My only complaint is that I should have bought more but that is my problem. The shop also has lots of tea accessories and is building a website for future online purchases ~ I can hardly wait. Awesome little tea store...more like tea mecca. I stopped in here the other day on my way home from lunch with a friend and was kicking myself for having never been in. They have an enormous wall of all kinds of teas - herbal, black, green, even the coveted pu-ehrs (crazy pressed and fermented teas from China). They also have an excellent selection of Beehouse Teapots and my fave teas made by Metropolitan Tea.
