two people in a tea shop

I keep showing up and buying more tea. I've introduced more people to this tea shop and then they buy tea, then I try it, then I come back and buy even more tea and I'm running out of room on my designated tea shelf. Our most recent pick up was the double bergamot and it's delicious. I've also tried both oolongs I got last time and they're so distinct and wonderful in their own ways.

Busy place, I did not mind waiting, it gave me more time to shop and look around the shop. Super freindy owner. Gina really knows her Tea. Never seen so many different kind of Tea in my life. She is expanding.

    So many teas...

A great tea shop in quaint downtown Snohomish! They seem to have between 200 and 300 types of teas, the majority of which are bulk teas by the ounce ($2 and up per ounce, most under $4). They also have imported teas and boxes of teabags, lots of infusers and tea paraphernalia, and fancy boxes of biscuits and sweets. I was particularly excited to see several flavors of Harney & Sons, because I'd heard a lot about them but wanted to try it out before committing to an expensive tin. They also have many flavors of Metropolitan Tea Co. I tried some Lady Londonderry and couldn't resist a French caramel brulee that smelled amazing. Although the tea seems competitively priced, some of the accessories seem marked up rather high (they charge $5.50 for a package of disposable fill-your-own teabags that I get at Daiso for $1.50). But I guess you're also paying for their expertise and helpfulness, and the owner was friendly and helpful, happy to talk about the different kinds of teas with me and the best way to prepare them. With a wide range of teas to suit every taste, this is a fun place to stop whether you're a beginning tea drinker or a tea expert. They even have kid-friendly herbal/fruit tisanes for non-tea-drinkers! I'd combine it with a visit to one of the several cupcake shoppes just down the street for the full teatime experience.

They have an enormous wall of all kinds of teas - herbal, black, green, even the coveted pu-ehrs (crazy pressed and fermented teas from China).

I rarely make it up to Snohomish, but now I have a reason to. This little cafe is mostly known for…read moretheir gluten-free baked goods, but their coffee is really something special. I tried their "Wild" coffee, and it has notes of watermelon that you can actually taste. I'd drive out of my way just for this coffee, it's that good. The staff are also great. My order got a little mixed up (switched the espresso types and put in to go cups), but the staff were super kind and righted it as soon as they realized. I only tried their cardamom ginger molasses cookie sandwich (delicious and not too sweet), but I'll absolutely be back to try some of their other gluten-free goodies!

I liked this place. It would be on my list of places to walk into when I am in the area. A variety…read moreof baked goods, drinks, offerings. Upon entering, i immediately noticed baked goods display and the drink menu. The case was filled with a bunch of interesting types of baked goods. On top of the rose cardamom latte, brioche tart and cardamom twist. We also got a savory scone and another item that escapes me. I enjoyed the savory scone the most. It had chives and bacon amongst other things. Great texture and not too dry. The brioche tart was a meal all on its own. Heavy and will put you to sleep. The cheese I think that was in there was gruyere but I could be wrong. I enjoyed it but definitely will splooge out if you down eat it on a plate with utensils. Eventually it does get monotonous for me. Recommend sharing it. Cardamom twist was the least favorite item. I'm not sure what it was but there was an essence of something in the background that threw the flavor off for me. I can't seem to describe it. The twist was slightly doughy/stodgy for me. Maybe part of an off batch. I typically do like cardamom centered things. This wasn't my favorite is all I can say. One suggestion I would hope gets implemented is cost of goods displayed for each item. I can say I was surprised at the total during check out. I do go to a lot of bakeries, cafes and artisanal shops. I always felt more at ease knowing what I was getting into from a financial standpoint. Tip is to look at their discounted items. They are a steal. They also have a rewards program that gets you a drink with every new sign up paired with a purchase I wish I had known prior to purchase as I was only able to spot signage at the register.

It's a real treat for me - staff here is nice and friendly I could go to a new place here in downtown Snohomish but Gorilla Bites has never served a disappointing meal. Go with what you know:)

Tried this spot for a weekday lunch and had a pretty good experience overall!…read more I went for the salad bar. It was decent and definitely filling. As a vegetarian, my protein option was pesto tofu, while the other options were salmon and tuna. They had all the usual greens and vegetables, and everything was served cold. There were a few in house dressings along with some store bought ones. I tried the balsamic vinaigrette and a honey ginger dressing. It was good, but I think it could be better. My husband ordered the pesto tofu sandwich with Moroccan soup, and that was the highlight. The sandwich was delicious, and his only regret was not getting the full size. The soup was also really flavorful. The place itself feels cozy. The food came out quickly, and we finished everything in no time. Parking is street parking, which might be tricky, especially on weekends. Overall, a good experience. I would definitely come back to try more sandwiches or burgers, but I would probably skip the salad bar next time.
