Everyone working here is super nice, my complaint is that no one makes the drinks the same! Every time I go, my drink tastes differently depending on who is making it. Which is kind of annoying because it's just an ice vanilla latte. Also, I get charged differently every time. The only reason why I keep coming back is because it's on the way to my daughter's school. This spot is definitely not my to go Spot and I wouldn't recommend it. read more

Drinks are good. Huge variety. If you want sugar free and dairy free options they have so many syrups to choose from. Love tat I can get something other than an americano w sugar free vanilla syrup. Ambiance? It's a drive thru not much to say here. Cute little log cabin style tho. Service- neither w a smile or like they're happy to see you. Just going thru the motions to earn their hourly rate. My regular spot to get a coffee. I'm here because the coffee is great and the service is good until last Sunday, Nov 28 around 2 pm. I had to repeat my order six times because she was standing across the room and didn't want to come up to the window to take my order (I was wearing a mask). I always order a 16 ounce iced almond milk latte. she ended up putting regular milk instead of almond milk (I'm lactose). I was over it. I didn't care for her to correct it. Only a couple good baristas. I am a barista myself and I can say only some of these girls really listen and make me what I want. Majority of the time I pay $5 for something I personally wouldn't serve. Only reliable for redbulls and lotus. Please learn how to make good Americanos and white coffee. I always ask for extra ice and am lucky to get half a cup. All the workers are very nice though. But I'm not paying for that. I'm paying for a good coffee. read more

I drove through today to grab a pink lotus with guava, passion fruit and coconut milk and the very nice woman with darker hair who made it did a perfect job! Perfect amounts of everything equaled out in the drink! The consistency was beautiful coming from a barista, she could not have made my day better! :) The blonde who rang me out was also very sweet and patient when I accidentally gave her the wrong card and did not realize! I walked to this busy hot spot during my lunch to get some sun and caffeine. Usually this is a place you typically drive up to and be on your way, but they also have a window to walk up to. They have a table for sitting and large menus, making it easy to see what you'd like to order. The prices are decent and you are served with friendly faces. Everyone there knows my drink order and has it made before I even get to the window. They are the nicest people on earth! They seem genuinely interested when they ask how my day is or what am I up to. It's not just words. They have great decorations at Christmas - these giant reindeer! It's a cute corner location with a walk up window and a picnic table to sit at. I've been coming to this place ever since I moved to Mill Creek. I live very close so I've even been known to drive over there in my pjs if I'm too lazy to make my own coffee!! read more

But the past three times I purchased iced vanilla lattes for me and my husband.. 24oz.. they put SO MUCH ICE! We always requested light ice. Maybe next time we just will do without it lol. We are regulars to this location. It's one of the few coffee stands that actually serve drip. An Americano is not the same as many other shops like to believe. This place is great, my only feedback is that I wish they would switch out their plastics straws for compostable straws. read more

I was convinced by my wife to give this place a shot (excuse the pun). So we went in just before 1pm and was greeted by the happiest woman on the planet (hooray for sarcasm). My wife placed her order for herself and our son. I was up, im a tea drinker and thought I'd give a blended coffee a try. I asked about a blended coffee and was looked at like I had a penis growing out of my face. A few minutes later our drinks came out. Blended lemonade for our son? Not what I asked for, but a 4 year old doesn't care. My drink was alright I guess, it was a mixture of roasted coffee beans, ice, and hatred. I tipped a dollar and ended up turning the wrong way out of the place. What did I do to lift my spirits? Cruised by the house that was on fire yesterday because there was certainly more love between the firefighters and that meth lab than there was this woman and her job. 1 star for a peachy attitude. read more

Some of the girls are super sweet HOWEVER. They tried charging me $14 for a 32oz redbull with 2 cans of red bull's in it. With ONE can of redbull the price said $6.02 and then all of a sudden I add a can and the price goes up $8? So essentially i'm paying.. $8... for ONE 12oz CAN of redbull. Not to mention they're stingy on the syrups. I've been to my fair share of coffee stands (dutch bros, gourmet latte, bigfoot java, starbucks) - extremely well known shops and i pay HALF what they were trying to charge me at every single one of those places. I was in shock that that is what they are trying to charge.. you wanna go far in business you don't overcharge for drinks like that. Needs a lot of work read more

The smoothies here made me sick, I'm pretty sure they used something overdue to make my smoothie. The smoothie also tasted like raisins even though I ordered a peach smoothie, I still feel kinda sick after drinking that. I do NOT recommend the smoothies here read more

I stop by the Buffalo Expresso on the corner of 35th. and Seattle Hill Road every morning. The girls are always friendly even though it's usually really busy. Kaylie is a sweetheart... always a big smile! My dog loves her too and he looks forward to "his" treat as well. The coffee is always perfect! I actually feel bad that I don't know the guy who is always working when I come here because he's honestly one of the nicest baristas I've ever come across in my life! I don't come here often because it's not in my neighborhood but when I'm in Mill Creek and thirstin for somethin besides a cup of coffee at Starbucks or Spotted Cow, I come here! My sister was the one who introduced me to this place. She said she was craving a yoguccino (sp?) and I HAD to try it! It definitely did not disappoint! It's like a milkshake but it's made with yogurt. Next time I go, I'll try a fruity flavor since I've had chocolate and coffee before. My go to drink, however, is the red bull Italian soda. Would recommend mango guava if you wanna try something besides your typical strawberry. Definitely pick up a punch card if you live nearby! read more

This little coffee stand is on the crazy-busy corner of Seattle-Hill road and 35th ave, so I think it's a must-try little stop, especially if it's not busy. I swung by this place on a somewhat sunny afternoon and really needed a caffeine fix! So, what did I end up ordering...? A Freaking Toddy Shake!! If I were rating the shake alone- it would easily get 5 stars. This deliciously crafted shake is basically a cold-brew coffee milkshake!! WHAT?!! So dang good! It was the perfect mixture of coffee and icy-goodness! Next time I stop by, I already know what I'm ordering! Also, I wasn't really able to taste the coffee itself (normal drink is an americano con panna) but the cold-brew tasted pretty good! As somewhat of a coffee snob (grad school ruined me for life), I was actually somewhat impressed with the body and flavor of the coffee itself. I only rated 4 stars because the barista was super-sarcastic, which isn't always a bad thing, but it just left a weird taste (no pun intended) in my mouth. When I pulled up, said she was "amazing" very rigidly. And, as I was driving away, she said something to the tune of: "Have a great day" but with a straight, non-smiling face and somewhat tongue-in-cheek. Either way, I'll be back here for another Toddy Shake (I might go again today...) and will update my review as necessary if my next barista is any better! read more

EEWWW! Gross!! The first time I went there, it was great. Then things went down hill. This coffee stand is just up the street from my house so I thought, "Great there's a cool coffee stand right by my house." The second time I went there, the girl was very nice. But she proceeded to show us her hives. Not exactly what I want to see from someone I know is preparing my food and/or beverage. And I realize that hives aren't contagious but still. The next time I went there there it was 7 am on a Saturday. Obviously, not all that busy. The barista said 3 things to me, "What can I get you?", "Want a straw?" and "The total is...". The rest of the time she talked, in a super gossipy fashion, about a time off request to the other barista. I was the one that said good morning. I waited a few minutes for her to at least acknowledge me. I mean it's 7 am on a Saturday, I was probably the only customer in a 15 minute period, the least she could do is put her conversation with her friend on hold and talk with me. All in all the coffee is ok, the building looks very nice, but the baristas may need a little more training. read more

Buffalo is lucky that they run the monopoly of the drive thru espresso business in this area. A couple of years ago they would have been rewarded with a much higher rating. Since moving back to the area, the only consistency I have experienced has been their ability to mess things up. Highlights of my many bad experiences have included asking for a 16oz iced quad shot Americano and receiving instead a 24oz iced Americano because the girl refused to fit all 4 shots in a 16 oz cup. Having over 4 years of barista experience myself, you can imagine the dismay of receiving 8 extra ounces of liquid. Also, how cheap is a business for charging $4 for half a can of red bull? I would never return to this business if there was only one competitor in the area, unfortunately I have driven to Bothell, Lynnwood and Snohomish to avoid this place. read more

I only come here for the ice cold blended granitas. I love their sugar free chocolate one, but the only problem I have is on the menu it says all the sized granitas except the small one, come with a double shot. I ordered a 24 oz (large) and asked what was in the drink. As the barista explained, she added that it has only one shot. As I was about to question this, she started talking over me and didn't give me a chance to ask. I wasn't in the mood to argue or ask anymore but I wish Buffalo Expresso had an official website or email.
