They pay attention to diabetic orders Much appreciated Very friendly staff Tip these folks

This is the third time I have come to this location and anytime I order a hot coffee they literally give me 1/4 less of whatever oz I order. If I order a 24 oz then it's 3/4 of the way full, if I order a 20 oz it's the same thing. It's the most bizarre situation I've ever encountered. Also, what's the point of asking me if I want my Caramel Macchiato "stacked or blended" and when I say "stacked" to say "Oh, really? That's interesting" and then proceed to blend my drink. Listening skills 0, giving me a full cup of coffee 0, friendliness 3 stars. The Marysville location is fantastic, this one could use a little more attention to detail on filling the cup and listening to what the customer is ordering. read more

This cute little coffee drive through is located around the gas station. I went on a weekday in the evening and it wasn't busy. The girls are sweet there. Lot of options to pick from and I went with White chocolate mocha with less sugar. The coffee was strong, good and flavorful. I like how the coffee differs from each coffee place. They have their unique flavors and definitely worth a try. read more

I really enjoy their iced coffee (16oz Carmel white chocolate mocha with oat milk), it's great. I've been coming in 3-4 days in a row this past week and ordering the same drink in the same size, but I've been charged different prices each time. Just a bit confusing, especially since nothing about the order changed be. Customer service is great! read more

I used to really like union, but this past year I'm not sure what has happened. Their coffee is always off. I recently switched to matcha. I've tried it at Union three times and unfortunately it has been consistently dull in color and very chalky in texture. I love matcha and was hoping for a smoother, brighter cup. For $8, I expected better quality. I bought it this morning, dumped it when I got to work and got another one somewhere else. Look at the difference between the union matcha and the other one...in this economy I'm not going to spend 8 dollars on crappy drinks. read more

I go to the pioneer station because it is closer to me and always has the nicest baristas. They always take the time to interact with everyone! I was over the moon when asked if they knew how to make a frozen hot chocolate or chai tea like I love to get in the east coast. The barista was from the east coast and knew exactly what I was talking about. It was a taste that made me feel like I was back on the east coast!!! read more

Love it usually! I did take off a star for pricing (feels a bit crazy for drinks but I suppose on par for the area) and not a super warm crew but I also do usually come at the crack of dawn so who really is awake and ready to chat. Not me! Overall great, would say it's a bit tricky to get to if you're in rush hour since the carpool lane is right next to it. Otherwise drinks are pretty good. No ambiance of note since it's a drive through! read more

I was going to leave well enough alone, but you guys are relentless in being ignorant and wrong so let me help. Not only do they serve coffee and tea but they also serve nice and hot toxic gossip in the work place. You want to call two people bullies and then put the literal phrase in your hiring ads. Here's the proof, tell me where I bullied you. Union Coffee Bar is just riddled with young girls in management positions putting everyone else down for what?? The owners don't care about anything but money. Numerous girls have complained to management, and have all been punished (take away shifts) and/or let go when trying to explain they don't agree with something. So enjoy the drama, and get your facts right before you start using trending phrases like bullying. read more

Hands down, not only the best espresso, but the best baristas around! They are not only incredibly kind, accommodating and knowledgeable: They all make delicious espresso drinks! I will drive across town to go to the "Trestle" Union Coffee Bar!! read more

I was pretty surprised how expensive the drinks were,My coffee drink lacked actual coffee flavor. It was sweet milk with a LOT of ice. Barista was very friendly though. read more

It would be nice if their menu showed other options such as sugar free. I like to go but if there are more than two people in line before you then NO thanks. You can get in line then have your passenger go inside the gas station and get a coffee and come back while you are still in line! read more

I ordered an iced lavender latte and I couldn't taste the lavender. The coffee is strong tasting, but still better/less bitter than Starbucks. Friendly staff, one to take the order and make the drink, and another to take payment. It can be a bit difficult to get into the line with where it is positioned, but it's convenient in that it's right near Hwy 9. read more

Coffee was blah. Nothing special to boast about. My americano tasted watery and they didn't put enough flavor in it. Their pizza pocket looks like a hot pocket on steroids. It was actually really good. I'd go back for the pizza pocket but not coffee. read more

Favorite coffee stand in the area! The girls are always super sweet and my coffee's are always so good!

Absolutely disgusting coffee (tastes like crappy Columbian coffee ie Folgers), made with expired shots, because the ditzy baristas too busy chatting up and charming the guy in the opposite window ... so gross all the way around. Too sweet. Too nasty. Who thought a Folgers was a good choice of roast?! I wish it weren't so but I'm sticking with Starbucks ... it is WAY better. read more

Union has one of the best tasting coffees compared to other coffee stands I've been to and they're only located right down the street from my house, which makes it really convenient when I'm on the go. The only downside to this business is their customer service. It's honestly a gamble on whether or not I'll be receiving good or bad service depending on the barista. Sometimes they're friendly and quirky, other times they'll have a cold demeanor and it can be unsettling at times. Okay, now, I don't expect Dutch Bro's level of customer service because they will go ABOVE AND BEYOND their service and will talk to you like they haven't seen you in five years, but even the bare minimum is fine for any business, at least for me. read more

Always a long line, but don't let that stop you because they move fast. the baristas are friendly and the coffee is good. the only thing i hate is that a lot of places now take your card and process it for you. they turn they screen around to ask if you would like to leave a tip. when you say no thanks here they reply with "no worries." I was never worried until the barista on more than one occasion said "no worries" Since it makes me feel weirdly uncomfortable I try to only go there when there is no other option. read more

I go to the 91st location (Union Coffee Bar @ Pioneer) because it is a lot closer to me. There is always a line, but it goes by really quick. The Baristas there are always so kind and efficient. I stopped going for about 3 months due to my schedule, but right when I went back, they remembered me and my drink order :) They are the best at making my Iced White Chocolate Americano with Cream & an extra shot! There French Toast Bagel Breakfast sandwich is BOMB! It is also massive so think about sharing :) read more

I have been going to Union coffee several times a week for four years and it is amazing. Wonderful coffee and very friendly staff. So why the one star rating? Long story short, I had a baby 5 months ago who is immune compromised. Yesterday I decided to treat myself by going out for a drive to grab some coffee from a place I trusted. I pulled up to the window and was shocked!! Neither of the women working were wearing masks. As I watched them make the person at the window across from me coffee, without pulling their face coverings back up from around their chins, I decided to leave without ordering. I get some people don't think COVID is a big deal and that's fine. Your body your choice. You do you outside of work. But when you work in the food service industry and handle hundreds of people's food/drinks everyday, you better freaking wear a mask! Like I said, great coffee and staff. If you don't think COVID is a big deal, disregard this post. If you do, I hope this review helps someone with a immune compromised baby or an elderly family member. If the owner reads this and actually cares, I was there November 8th around 1pm. I say this so you discuss proper COVID precautions with the team that was working. read more

We were driving back from a hike in Granite Falls and wanted something hot to warm us up. Driving through Lake Stevens, we spotted this drive thru coffee stand and pulled in. There wasn't a line or anything since it was early afternoon. We ordered: - chai - hot chocolate - one of their specials that had caramel and espresso - oatmeal breakfast cookie Everyone enjoyed their drinks! The barista was fabulous! She was so nice and provided great service, especially since I was indecisive in what to order. She mentioned this coffee stand had just changed it's name. Looks like there's 2 locations for Union Coffee Bar, both in Lake Stevens. read more

Horrible customer service. a lot of side chatter between the girls it's like i didn't even exist to them. The girl who was helping me was so rude and rolling her eyes at me the entire time. don't wast your time or money here. i have been a loyal customer for years and have always loved it don't know what's going on lately but even their waiting time has gone up waiting 10 minutes for a drink is just absurd. read more

My concerns are about failing to subscribe to the rules regarding hygienic food and drink handling. Management should revisit the importance of handling cash and then using those same filthy hands to add ice to a cold drink AND popping in the drink straw touching the end of the straw that would next meet my mouth. I will say I haven't had a bad drink there and I visit there often. The quality of the drinks and food are consistently good but I will ask them to remake my drink if I see this disregard to the rules that each employee is aware of when they received their food handling lessons. read more

I had heard great things about this coffee stand and it's multiple locations from friends, and know many people who frequent religiously. I had always wanted to try but there is always a line. One day, I was by a stand and there wasn't a long line so I decided to bite the bullet and give it a shot. I ordered my normal drink, an iced breve vanilla latte, which I usually get at Starbucks. The drink I received from Union was DELICIOUS! I was blown away by how different it tasted from Starbucks and how much tastier this was. I also had my pup with me and they gave him a HUGE puppacino with dog bones on top. I was very impressed with my experience. I visited each day for the next 3 days (until I left on vacation) and will definitely be back more once I get home! I miss this coffee! The only thing I was bummed about was that they didn't do punch/stamp cards. If I am going to be a frequent visitor, I'd like to have some sort of enticing promotion/reward system. I will definitely be supporting this local business more often! read more

Very rude! Awful customer service (young, long blonde hair girl working 7/13 at 4:25 pm) Really doesn't care about serving customers. Tried to talk about my experience, she could care less. Won't go here again. Highly recommend to avoid. read more

Ride teenagers making bad drinks-don't bother.I expect friendly service and experienced baristas and it's anything but that

Health Hazard - at least three times in the last month I have watched a barista feed dog biscuits from their hands directly to customers dogs, and then not wash their hands before going back to handling drinks, payments, the coffee machines and other food items. This despite the fact the the dogs clearly got their tongues and saliva on the barista hands. When I asked them about it when it happened directly in front of me. the girl just flat out lied and said "You can't prove it. Where are you going to get your coffee then if you don't come here?" I have a dashcam that recorded these incidents and shows it quite clearly. read more

They gave me only one thing of cream cheese for a whole bagel and gave me the wrong sandwich. Only reason why they're getting two stars is because they're usually nice, and the location is the better one to get to I-5. read more

This place is really hit or miss. Some mornings, you get a nice barista and a good cup of joe... Other mornings, you get someone who is not personable, and an undrinkable mocha. I order a quad shot, white coffee, white chocolate, and caramel mocha with nonfat milk and 3+ times now... It comes back tasting like its watered down with out flavor. Maybe they made it an Americano instead? I don't know but because I've worked as a barista before, I know how my coffee should taste and I get really disappointed when I can't finish the beverage I paid for because it doesn't taste the way I know it should. I continue to come here simply because it is the only espresso stand on this side of the lake before you get to the freeway... I mean, its incredibly convenient for a location. I just hope that they can better their quality in not only the beverage but the staff as well. read more

Our go to stand in the neighborhood. Megan and Ashley are usually there weekday mornings getting everyone through quickly but most all of the morning girls are friendly as well. Coffee is good and fairly priced. Surprised at the rest of the negative comments, I'm guessing those people are still one of the many in line everyday. ;) read more

I went in today and I got a blonde girl that I'm pretty sure is one of the managers. She was so incredibly rude when asking me what I wanted to drink and she never kept a conversation going which seems weird for being a family friendly stand. I do not think that someone with the attitude she had should work in a family friend stand, especially be a manager if she was. I was very disappointed because i've been going to union and everyone has always been nice, but this girl was not at all. Pretty sure her name is Neveah and has very poor customer service. read more

Union on 20th in front of the Trestle Station is my go to location-Union coffee has a large assortment of beverages and food for my whole family! I always choose an americano, my husband loves the mocha and my kids love the smoothies and Italian sodas. The coffee is smooth and not bitter. I usually see them with Smith Brothers Milk products which makes me happy they are using another local company for their milk. The baristas are friendly and quick.
