Starting with positives: staff friendly, service fast, place was clean. Chai latte was very yummy! However.. their breakfast "sandwich" was $12... it was really bad. the bagel was rubbery, not fresh.. egg patty smothered in cheddar cheese and the "bacon" was legitimately bacon bits. I mean McDonald's McGriddle is honestly better than what I was given here. I didn't eat it.. texture, taste, all of it was awful. Chai latte was also $7. Steep pricing. ugh. WA state has horrible breakfast food.. I'm not sure what's up with that. I was really hoping this place would be somewhere to stop and get a reliable breakfast sandwich. read more

Very cute cage and obviously very popular. I stopped on my way home and actually intended to go the restaurant next door but they were packed as well. For as busy as they are they could use another staff member. They were friendly and provided great service, but at 9:30 am they were busy. Coffee, was good very mild, but I was thankful I didn't get it to go. I took the lid off to let it cool and it was literally filled to the brim. Had I taken a sip while walking I most likely would have dumped it on myself. The bacon breakfast burrito was good but light on the bacon. We only go to them now since you actually taste the coffee where going to other coffee shops (like Starbucks) you just taste foamed milk and the coffee is diluted down. I really enjoyed my visit here. It's really cute and cozy. They have some unique decor like a wall mural. There was soft music playing. The parking lot is a decent size and I had no problem getting a spot on a weekday afternoon. I had an iced latte with oat milk. It was pretty good. Not bitter and had a nice amount of ice. They had some good looking baked goods, although I didn't try any. The person working was friendly and made our drinks quickly. It took, at most, five minutes to make two iced lattes. I liked that they have a few comfortable chairs that you can sit in for a while. The chairs at the tables look like they might be nice for a bit as well. There were many people working in computers for a while. They have two bathrooms. There is a big garage-like door that was open and a small breeze was coming in. Dang I was excited for this cool looking cafe. When I go to new coffee spots I stick with an original, I ordered an iced mocha. Pretty simple. It literally tasted like chocolate milk. I asked for 3 shots in a 20 oz, they said it only comes with 2, which is why I'm glad I had asked for 3. I would've asked her to remake it but they paid no attention to anyone grabbing their drinks from the bar and I'm not going to stand there waiting for someone to look this direction. Not cool. It's so cool to see beloved old shops, reestablished into even better shops! The Milk House Coffee Co., in Everett, WA, is this super darling coffee shop, that was once a well-known neighborhood milk company. We used to go there, with my grandparents, and get milk (in the beautiful glass bottles). For some reason, milk is always tastier, that way too! The owners of The Milk House Coffee Co. keep the memory alive, of Walt's Milk House, by keeping some of their bottles, as decor! Their furniture and decor are also from former area buildings and establishments, making this location extra special! They also have a convenient drive-thru, if you're in a rush! Their pastries are super tasty, because they're baked by the owner of Pavé bakery, that was once in in downtown Everett. (I legit get no less than 4 pastries, each visit, because they're that amazing!!!) So, if you want a super cozy, neighborhood coffee shop, with lots of love, then this is the place to be! read more

This coffee house was great, you can't beat the location, plenty of parking. It was getting busy even at 6:30am and there is only one barista at the time. But I am not complaining about that because around 7am there was plenty of barista's. The group I was with enjoyed the burritos, the only thing was there was not enough seasoning but who cares. They can add salt & pepper and there was hot sauce if they wanted it. I had a latte first, it was really delicious, my bagel tasted great but a little burnt on the top. I am not complaining but she could have said hey the top is a little crispy again no big deal! Than I had another drink after being there a few hours... I absolutely love this place. Very clean, cute space with friendly employees and a great menu. The food/pastries are amazing. I was able to sign up for an account and order online so I can have my order ready by the time I get there. I met some extended family here and they absolutely loved it. I moved to Everett a few months ago and am very excited to have a great local shop a couple blocks away. Not sure what coffee they use but it is very high quality. I took my son for a hot coco on his birthday and they made the drink super cute with sprinkles and a happy birthday message. Super sweet! Highly recommend!! read more

Here we are in the midst of a very icky pandemic, and, let's face it -- it sucks. But, even when it's icky, there are beacons of light to get us through the storms. That is what this amazing establishment is; a beacon of light in this crazy pandemic. My aide and I went on a late Tuesday morning, and we were taken aback in the best way possible. It's so extremely clean, I think you could eat off the floor. (But, please don't try it). The person who took our order was sweet, amazing and patient. I ordered a mocha frappe, but she misheard and gave me a regular mocha. When I told her about the whoopsie, she graciously swapped out my drink. But, while I was waiting for my drink, I noticed the cookie -- aka manna from heaven... Ill start with the cookie; it was beautifully crisp and the frosting was so good, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. When I realized I didn't go on a celestial journey, I thought it might take them a year to surgically remove the smile from my face. In other words it was a nearly perfect cookie! Now, I want to talk about the frappe; I felt like Meg Ryan in the big "O" scene in "When Harry Met Sally." Except, I wasn't fakin' nuffin! Sooo creamy, with the strength of flavor lasting to the very last sip. I have to say it was 1000 times better than anything I've consumed at Hairbux. It was yommmmmy! Wrapped in foil so it stayed hot on the drive home. Highly recommend- and honestly similar price to McDonald's for full breakfast with drinks and the drinks are waaaaay better here. Had an iced American w/ 1/2 . Knocked off a star for the worst (!) seats ever....cold, hard steel...not conducive for a relaxing coffee break. Cured that by bringing my own pad for the seat. I've been going to the milk house for a few months and after today I think I'm done. The coffee is fantastic, and the food is reasonable. The service, however friendly - is both slow and lacking attention. I don't need to have a full conversation, or even small talk, but what I *do* need is some kind of acknowledgment that I have walked through the door and am waiting to be served. Have been checking out the different coffee shops close to us as we want to support local instead of the "chain" coffee shops. Ample parking, a drive thru, clean indoor atmosphere, and plugs at countertop seating. Caramel Macchiato was delicious, the bagel sandwich not so much. It was so greasy, the bagel was soaked thru and the wrapper was also full of grease. Seemed the sandwich pre-made and heated in microwave. No one said hello when we entered or goodbye when we left-we weren't sure where to order and it was that way with everyone we saw come & go. But, I'd come back and try a dif food item with my drink and maybe use the drive-thru. read more

I went there today for my first time. I was super excited, as I had been wanting to try it. I ordered a soy latte, my husband ordered an iced vanilla latte. She handed them out to us after a slight wait. They were super busy inside so that was no big deal. She told me that it was soy on the hand off and handed my husband both. We drove off. My husband's had zero vanilla, and he will not drink it as it does not taste good. Mine tasted alright, but was most definitely not soy, as I am typing this my stomach is killing me and my mouth is full of terrible saliva, as I am Allergic to Dairy. So I spent $14 on two drinks that I had to put in the trash. The two baristas were dressed in my opinion very unprofessionally as their midriffs were bared while serving me food. Unfortunately I am sick to my stomach and can not suggest this business as there are many very good alternatives to it. read more
