Hot Chai on the rainy day :) pretty too.

Update from last review. I tried the hot Chai this time, and I loved it. The staff were all friendly, like usual :) It's been awhile since my last visit. It seems the store was remodeled. It's much better. The owner understand the vibe and functionality of this unique cafe. The layout is perfect for scholars and love those chargers outlets! Also, thanks for changing the tall chairs! They are now more comfy, compare to last ones (metal & too small).

Came here for a tea and coffee date with some friends. Service was ok. They didn't make my friends drink correctly. Space is plenty big. I got a London fog which was pretty good.

This place I've been to twice. Same location. It's alright. I think it's overhyped. I've gotten two seasonal special drinks and they were very expensive for what they were. They also take a crazy long time to make considering what they are. The first was a mango sticky rice matcha and it was like the lightest hint of mango and I didn't taste sticky rice which I assume was supposed to be some sort of coconut rice flavor. It was almost 8 dollars. Then I came back and for the winter punch lotus and it was definitely a fun flavor of winter spices. I think I hoped more for the drinks. It was very cute inside and clean and had an awesome space for studying so I'll give it that.

I live right around the corner from this place and have driven by it for the last three years never going in. I finally stopped in today and so glad I did. The ambiance is not what I was expecting- it was much cooler than a regular coffee house. Would be a great place to work or get together with friends. Lots of seating options inside as well as some outside. Their fall seasonal menu is great- was hard to choose one to drink! Staff is super friendly and were quick to make my drink even with three other people in line. Definitely coming back!

I think visible is a great study cafe, with lots of seating and nice ambiance. Considering there aren't many cafes like this in the area, i think they're doing a good job! They are right next door from LA fitness, so there is plenty of parking. The barista recommended the coffee cake, and it was moist and delicious. The hoppy bunny matcha is a seasonal drink that I saw on their instagram and had to check it out! I wish they had prices on their menu- the 24 oz iced was $9 but after tip, idk if a $10 is worth it. Would come again to try their other pastry items and study- the staff is also always friendly.

I've been dropping by Visible Coffee Roasters for over a decade, back when it was still the Spotted Cow Cafe. After all these years, it remains my absolute favorite study and work spot in the area - I even submitted all my grad school applications here! The ambiance is fantastic, with plenty of spaces that naturally encourage striking up conversations with strangers. In a town like Mill Creek, this place stands out as one of the few gathering spots where young people can actually socialize and connect.

The people are friendly and the food and beverages are great. They are a popular spot so getting a table can be challenging sometimes, but I think that just speaks to how tasty their menu is and the general chill vibe they offer. Their iced matcha is always well blended and their hot mochas are never bitter, excellent coffee craftsmanship!

Tried the matcha flight and smoke bacon chicken sandwich. Both were soo good. I usually don't get sandwiches at coffee places but it was so tasty, I'd want to make something like it. The matcha flight was cute and had many flavors to try. The lavender was the best since it was nice and floral. Nice place to spend time working or hanging out.

First time here today! It's such a cute hip place! It's very spacey inside, clean, and lots of small seating area. Lots of plugs to charge your phone or laptops too. Staff is very friendly. My blueberry scone and oat milk chai are delicious! I think I've found my go-to spot here too right by the fireplace. I'll be back soon!

We came Saturday afternoon around 3ish and it was pretty packed but we were able to get one of the last tables. It was next to the fireplace which was great since it was chilly. I appreciate the glass windows on a sunny day & the long hours - open 7am-10pm almost everyday. A good chunk of ppl had laptops so it's a great place to study. I knocked off a star because sometimes the coffee tastes a little extra burnt and for their white chocolate mocha they use Powder instead of Syrup which my husband said tasted horrible.

Great beverages and atmosphere. Always amazing staff

I got a scoop of their marionberry swirl and had a taste of my bestie's salted caramel gelato. Both were really good though my marionberry had a lot more taste and wasn't as sweet as the salted caramel. Staff up front were very patient with us when we asked to try several of their flavors at once.

However, there are standout flavors like waffle cone that I had to get, as well as the more traditional flavors like pistachio. I sampled the pistachio as they claimed it was the best in town but was a little disappointed since the flavor was not too apparent and it's not the true pistachio hue that I usually see for natural pistachio (it was more green). The flavors I ended up getting were the waffle cone and strawberry rhubarb. I liked the quality of the gelato but it was more on the icy texture than smooth. For the price of $6+tax, it is one of the pricier options around for the portion. If this was the best gelato in Seattle, I'd have written the price off as a premium for quality, but I've had a few spots that in my opinion are better in texture and flavor.

As you can see from my review years ago, when my hubs and I came back from a trip to Italy, we wanted to find a gelato shop that had the same quality as the shops in Rome. Not all the gelato and sorbetto we had in Italy was good, some flavors tasted artificial, and during our time there, we learned how to tell the good from the meh. When we returned to Seattle, we were happy to find great-Italy-like gelato at the Bottega Italiana in Green Lake. After that shop closed (still sad about that!) we started going to their other shop by Pike Place Market. For years, this place featured delicious, fresh, quality gelato and sorbetto that tasted like the flavors they were labeled with--so strawberry tasted like eating real strawberries and so on. But on a recent visit, I got a small cup with strawberry and raspberry-dragon fruit and the first flavor I got when I tasted it was sugar. As I ate more of it, it started to remind me of Jolly Rancher candies, not totally, but enough to turn me off. They use just enough fruit to make you believe it's the flavor that it's labeled with, but the amount of sugar and other things added makes their fruit flavors as meh as the not-so-good shops we learned to avoid in Rome. Alas, I think my favorite gelato shop in Seattle has fallen prey to profit over quality. Why, Bottega Italiana, why??? It makes me and my hubs very sad. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because the service was friendly and efficient, and my hubs's dairy-based gelato flavors were all right--not great but all right. Over the years, we've tried all the other gelato shops in Seattle and none of them measure up either. I guess it's time we take another trip to Italy.
