This place was great! I stopped in with a friend around 8am on a Saturday and there was a very small line. I love that they have a seasonal menu, so I went with that brown sugar thing, which is exactly what I wanted (how did they know?). I also grabbed a morning bun because everything in the case looked delicious! The coffee was great and the morning bun was warm and flaky with a little hint of citrus, it was glorious. There's a ton of seating, so my friend and I had no problem finding a spot. They also have a good variety of seating depending on what you want, including a studying pod! I've been coming here for years and have noticed the added seating to accommodate its growing popularity, which leaves little walking room during peak volume. Most of the patrons seem to be students having study sessions, so I'd plan meetings with friends or associates elsewhere. It gets very hot and stuffy during the summer, I don't think they have AC. Window treatments would be good as well. The iced matcha latte and iced vanilla latte are not very good. The cortado flight is great. I've yet to try much else. I wandered up to Visible, 30 minutes from home, because it was the only coffee shop open late on a Saturday. We're talking open til 10 pm on Saturday nights! It reminded me of my college days, both the closing time and the flood of 20-something's with their laptops that were there when I got there. There is a lot of seating, some of it even comfortable. My crochet hook and I were happy. Only downfall was the weak Americano I was served. That late, though, it was probably a blessing to have a bit less caffeine than desired. read more

Came here with a group of 4 on a Tuesday night and found a seat pretty quickly. They offered some unique flavors of gelato I saw like rice flavor which was surprisingly delicious. I also ordered a chocolate muffin and croissant which were both delicious. This place is a great place to hangout and bring your pet. read more

Visible Coffee Roasters is one of the best coffee spots I've ever been too. They have an excellent variety of drinks, food, and bagged coffee. I occasionally come here if I need to have a change of scenery for remote work and want to be in a lively, yet relaxing atmosphere. I typically get whatever latte is in season here, but I've had the matcha drinks and iced coffee before and everything I've tried has been delicious. Another perk is that the drinks are never too sweet. If you're hungry, the food here is pretty solid too. All of their breakfast sandwiches and pastries I've tried so far have been good. Every barista that has served me at this location has been wonderful. Props to them for choosing employees that understand great customer service while being able to handle the busy hours excellently. Further, I've bought several varieties of the bagged coffee for the past two Christmases as gifts and everyone who's received it has loved it. I've since moved away from the area, but I try to stop here everytime I'm in Mill Creek. Keep up the good work VCR! read more

Love everything about this cafe. It's located in a really nice place. Has a very rustic chic modern vibe going. Ample seating complete with a fire place. I almost always order a capuccino first, at any new cafe that I visit. Fabulous! One of the best I've had in recent times! They also sell their coffee beans which is a plus. We both are NOT coffee enthusiasts but we both looked at each other after our first sip and agreed that yes...indeed very watery. - Coffee cake: A solid, fluffy, traditional pastry with all the right things. - Breakfast roll / Kouign Amann: I am an absolute koiugn amann enthusiast (best in the state: The French Guys at UD and Ballard farmers market), so I was very excited Visible Coffee Roasters offered this. Sadly, it was hardened, tasted days old. But I could taste the butter and had a hint of what it might have tasted like when it was freshly made? I will say that the place offered an AMAZINGLY cozy atmosphere to relax, study, and get together. The space was big enough where the ambient noise was just right for peak focusing mode. I was able to write, read, and relax in contentment. Overall, I didn't love my short time here. I'm not sure if it was an off day or I had a barista-in-training, so I do plan on trying the latte's again in the future to give it another shot. The baked good we're almost gone by the time we showed up ...but did try their blueberry scone warmed up and it was delicious. Very flakey and yummy ...I didn't get to enjoy it w my Americano as I had hoped and the Americano was definitely less than perfect. I noticed several customers who came in after us were served before us and am not sure why. I needed some coffee and looked up the one nearest to where I was. It was a mile down the road. I get there and go in and was the only one in line. They greeted me and the They took about 5 minutes to take my order. I got a chai lay latte and white chocolate americano and 2 breakfasts sandwiches. Love this place! Staff was friendly and fast. I remember when this was the spotted cow and I like the decor much better at Visible. I am obsessed with lavender at the moment and they have a great lavender latte. I only wish they had the option of actual mugs if you are consuming inside to avoid waste and to keep the beverage hot longer. The other problem was my friend and I had to keep moving because the sun kept shining through the windows and was blinding us (I know I shouldn't complain about that! Lol). Here to grab a London fog and found out the gluten free mint chocolate cookies are no longer being served here. This was one of my favorite things, and I am not a muffin person, so while I appreciate the barista making the offer for an alternative gluten free option, it's not a 1to1 substitute. Service and beverages are still great, but I won't be coming here nearly as often since it's not worth the trek when there are (closer to me) places that do have gluten free options beyond muffins. Stopped in to grab a drink, cashier said hi to us without looking up and then promptly turned away to do something else? She seemed like she had forgotten something for the previous customers...she finally came back to take our orders, didn't look at us/make eye contact. Honestly, I just wanted to walk out at that point because the vibe was NOT inviting. Partner ordered a chai latte with oat milk and I ordered the seasonal blueberry lavender latte with almond. My drink was meh, didn't taste any lavender and the blueberry was very slight. I don't get sweetened drinks any more but didn't feel like getting a black coffee at Visible. First time here! I was actually looking for spotted cow which is what this was before and then we learned that ownership recently changed? Cute open space with ample seating that are varied from cozy chairs to high chairs and normal tables of different seating arrangement. 2 bathrooms available inside. The servers are nice and surprisingly didn't kick us out even though our kids were extra obnoxious. There is also games and books available for entertainment which is a nice touch. Most people are quietly working on their laptops Now the food: my daughter had the Nutella brioche and she said it was nice and warm topped with sugar crystals. I didn't get a chance to take a photo. We also got a London fog (earl grey tea latte) which was very nicely made and not too sweet. I had an iced honey peach latte, which was DELICIOUS and so smooth. Unfortunately my friend's pesto sandwich was disappointing with very little pesto inside. Overall it was a great experience and I would love to hang out here again. read more

The spotted cow is only a few miles north of the city I grew up in, so I used to frequent this spot quite a bit toward the end of high school & beginning of college! It's really fun to come back here and sit down in a comfy chair to read a book or catch up with a friend. I've always loved being by the fireplace, if I can steal a chair near there. I love the small-town, mom and pop vibe that their farmhouse decor brings to this coffee shop. If you are in Mill Creek Town Center and really need to get some work done, grab your laptop and head over here! It's much quieter and cozy than the nearby Starbucks. read more

I have been drinking coffee at the cow since 2007. There have been so many highs and lows as management was always changing. The cow finally has new owners that truly CARE! They care about the coffee, the customer, and the environment. They are also doing a great job in keeping the coffee shop clean and sanitized during this pandemic. The customer service always blows me away. The sweetest group of young adults. The coffee is amazing. In times past the coffee tasted burnt and like pure dirt. There is now a significant attention to the quality of the coffee and the ingredients used to make different types of coffee. We escaped here during the great heat wave of 2021 when it hit 108 degrees in Bothell and I had no AC at home The keto hazelnut brownie is very delicious. So was my cardamom latte and the gelato!
