Turkey avocado panini
Dave W.

Nadines is a quaint and cozy little coffee place downtown that also has some decent food options. Good for lunch or breakfast. I had their avocado turkey panini (which was quite good) and a cortado. It's a small place with a few tables and a nice seating area with couches and sofa chairs.

I have been wanting to try Nadine's for a while now and was able to pop in while at the farmers market! The ambiance of this place is amazing. The exposed brick and greenery is so cute, and the playlist was great, with a mixture of soul. The staff was incredibly kind as well. I had the sweet summer sling which was amazing. I wasn't sure how all the flavors would come together but I knew I liked all the flavors, and I was so incredibly impressed with it!! My husband got the iced lemon roll, the flavors were good but the dough was a little dough so it was probably over proofed (I have no idea if they make their own goodies or if they purchase them from somewhere). But I really loved this place and it will definitely be a frequent study spot soon!

Beautiful ambiance. Quaint and cozy. Excellent coffee. Will definitely let my family and friends know about it. Makes me happy.

Deconstructed latte with burnt honey syrup

This cafe is hidden on the side of a building with a little sign. We came around 1pm on a Monday, so we expected it to be dead. The barista wasn't talkative and we maybe exchanged 5 words, including ordering my drink and picking it up at the counter. I didn't realize that this is a very Christian-forward cafe, with mini bibles on every table and a bible study group occupying one of the couches. I guess I'm not surprised because we are in Everett, but it was still a little silly. Menu is pretty small with seasonal spring/summer and fall/winter offerings. My friend got a burnt honey deconstructed latte and I got the Golden Hour. We also enjoyed their cinnamon roll because it was flakey like a croissant, with cinnamon roll filling and a glaze that wasn't too sweet.

Smoked honey latter comes in 8oz cup

I came here on a Sunday and the place wasn't busy. I thought I ordered a latte in a mug but it was served in a normal juice glass. Not sure why since the coffee is hot. The drink was nothing special. I cup $8 for 8 oz of coffee. When I ordered I ordered a 16 oz but the barista didn't say it was not that size since I chose to add the smoked honey flavor. Overall I won't come back. The cafe is cute and moody. I could see it better in the evening.

"Backpacker" latte, so delicious! The coffee itself is so delicious and never bitter/ burnt !

I can't say enough about this place! The coffee is always delicious and the cafe clean and welcoming. It is a bit hidden when looking from the street as the entrance is off to the side behind Good wolf barbershop! Jake the owner and barista really takes pride in his coffee craft and you can taste it! I've never had a drink I didn't like but the backpacker is my favorite.

I love the pastries! The cinnamon rolls are fluffy and smeared with a generous amount of frosting. The chocolate chip cookie was pretty good. Surprisingly my favorite was a crumbly, granola, elly filled pastry that tasted like a delicious parfait. It was a pastry day when I picked up a delicious box but after checking out their insta I have to come back for a cup of coffee! Their location is around the corner of the barber shop that you'll see from the street so don't miss it!

Sweet Summer Sling, Black Velvet

This place is really nice. Beautiful on the inside, cute flowers at each table. Only one worker, but she's nice and is reasonably fast at making drinks. If you want something fast, that likely won't happen because these are specialty drinks. Expect a wait but it'll be worth it. We got a Sweet Summer Sling and a Black Velvet. The SSS has a nice sweet tea for its base and nice citrus flavors. The BV has very strong, bitter espresso with blackberry flavor. Overall, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Graham Cracker Coffee

TLDR; outstanding meticulously crafted coffee; incredible atmosphere that hits different. Found my new favorite coffee in Washington, coming from Seattle. 1) The coffee is perfect every single time. The attention to detail that Jacob puts into each pour is noticed. The milk is meticulously frothed and poured into perfect art each time and the espresso comes through so well. Feels like someone crafting a cocktail, but instead building a warm, comforting latte. 2) There's something special about this place. It feels different, feels calming, and feels like a safe space I can go to - especially on those rainy, gloomy days. I feel uplifted here every time! The presence of the HS is real here and I genuinely believe God will reveal himself to those who ask for him while you're there. Read up Matthew 7:7-8 if you want more.

I am in love with this coffee shop. The ambiance is so peaceful, the coffee is tasty and intentional, and the barista was super kind. Highly recommend both the Golden Hour and the Smoked Honey Latte. My only regret is that I live in Portland, so I'm not close enough to be a regular visitor.

Quiet and cozy atmosphere. Friendly service in this tiny coffee shop. Classy and tiny, very clean with some nice teas. I only wish there were less religious stuff filling the space. Check the place out!

a variety of pastries

Recently stumbled upon this hidden gem on the Too Good To Go app. It was honestly a little hard to find at first because the entrance isn't facing the main street, but the side. There was warm lighting, comfortable seating, and welcoming staff. I got all of these pastries on the app for only $4.99 total. They were perfectly flaky and full of flavor. I'll definitely be back to try their coffee and mocktails.

Super cute ambiance and great tasting high quality coffee with unique options. A little on the expensive side but worth it.

I've been wanting to try their chocolate chip cookie but it's never ready when I've gone. Their burrito is delicious though, it's packed and super filling, not to mention the sauces are the best part! I wish they gave a little more as I end up finishing the sauces before the burrito is done because they're sooo tasty with the burrito. I also wish they had other meat options other than bacon. They don't have chicken add ins but other than that it's a great place! I've also had their biscuit and jam, but that's just ok. I wouldn't get it again. It's not that tasty or memorable. There's lots of seating, food is ready fairly quickly, service is great and employees are friendly, and parking right outside. So convenient!

However, and I'd like to share my feedback on my experiences. - The food is decent, though it's often prepared for presentation rather than taste. It frequently arrives cold. - The coffee and tea are overpriced and tastes mediocre. - for instance, I paid $8 for a 4-ounce mix of espresso and orange juice that made my stomach hurt. - I also paid nearly $7 for the "peach blossom tea" and ended up getting 3/4 cup of ice, packet tea, and sweetener in a cup. - I've tried nearly everything on the drink menu and nothing is 'great' - The wait time for an order is incredibly long, and the employees are often distracted and preoccupied with other tasks, making it difficult to get my order taken. Overall, go to narrative for the ambiance and food, NOT the drinks.

Wow. Velton's has changed my coffee life. I recently discovered Grain Artisan Bakery in Snohomish…read more(highly recommend), & since it was afternoon, I got a decaf latte to go with my rhubarb custard tart. With decaf, I've come to expect that I will need the sweet treat to enhance the drink, but this coffee was absolutely as good as the amazing pastry, which is super, super rare!! It was Velton's Three Ravens Blend, the best decaf - by far - that I have had in more than a decade of searching. Three Ravens is completely delicious standing alone - which is what I've been searching for - and it harmonizes beautifully for the half-caf I like to drink in the mornings. I first emailed the business about which of their caffeinated offerings they would recommend for this, and Velton Ross got back to me right away with the friendliest, kindest reply and several very thoughtful suggestions. So far I've enjoyed the Bonsai Blend - an excellent and delicious accompaniment, just a slightly warmer, brighter profile when full-caf than is my preference - and I am going to order the Twilight Blend next. Although you cannot buy in person from their roastery, you can easily order from their site. They have lovely detailed descriptions of everything they offer, and shipping is very quick and very reasonable. They roast on Mondays and ship on Tuesdays, and I have always received my order (in Shoreline) by Friday, or Saturday at latest. There are also quite a few retail locations from Everett to the eastside - and even one each in Vegas and Montana! - where you can buy their beans and/or drink their coffee. I greatly appreciate that they took the time to list these on their site with detailed information about each establishment. So helpful for learning about local businesses I might have otherwise never come across. Online, you can purchase both whole bean and pre-ground for espresso and drip coffee. The drip coffee grind was a little too fine for my coffee cone method. So I experimented with whole beans and found that, for me, the flavor is perfect when I grind them one setting coarser than I used to use for other coffees. The best part of all of this, is that this is the first decaf I've ever been able to drink without a feeling of compromise, extra doctoring, or gaslighting myself into believing that it's good. Zero disappointment!! I can make a straight decaf cup any time of day and know that I'm going to love every sip. Thank you, Velton's!!
