Cute little gelato shop in the Burien area with a patio in the back. I stopped by on a summer weekend evening. Foot traffic was a little slow on this side of 152nd. The shop had a decent selection of items and the worker was happy to answer any questions or provide samples. She informed me of the popular flavors and recommendations which were very helpful. I was so intrigued by the Filipino-inspired gelatos such as champurrado, rice, and calamansi basil. I *loved* calamansi basil and would highly recommend that flavor. I would definitely come back again if I'm in the area.

Rice gelato and coffee & Amaretto.

Loved the Rice Gelato! I visited this gelato shop with my husband and we had a great experience. I chose the rice gelato, and he went with coffee and amaretto. All the flavors were delicious, but we especially loved the rice gelato -- it was subtly sweet, creamy, and really unique! One thing we really appreciated was being able to try samples before ordering. It made it easy to choose the flavors we really liked without any guesswork. The shop itself has a cozy and stylish atmosphere, with cute little touches like the flower vase by the window. We had a relaxing time and would definitely come back again! It's the kind of place you want to linger in, enjoy your gelato slowly, and maybe snap a photo or two. Highly recommend for anyone in the mood for authentic, flavorful gelato with a lovely atmosphere to match!

Pistachio and fig

I really liked this place! It's small but service was amazing. The worker let us try multiple samples including the basil calamansi and even let us know of flavors they had in the back. Each flavor we tried was super flavorful and tasted very natural. We settled on pistachio and fig, and also got a small chocolate later. The pistachio tasted like it was full of pistachio butter and the fig flavor had real figs. The chocolate flavor was not too sweet and the cocoa powder really shone through. Definitely would come back and try more. I almost didn't want to leave.

Stumbled across this cute little gelato spot in Burien & tried pandan & calamansi basil gelato with the Dubai chocolate strawberries. Wow, just wow. The calamansi basil was the standout: bright, citrusy, and totally unique. Pandan was creamy and paired perfectly with the crunchy, rich, chocolaty strawberries. Will definitely be back!

Ube

The gelato here is delicious! Their flavors rotate and they have unique flavors. We got the ube and chocolate. I think sometimes the texture of the gelato can be a hit or miss. The chocolate gelato was SUPREMELY creamy, smooth, not icey at all, and very chocolatey. It's one of the best gelato texture I've had. The ube was also delicious but there were some ice crystals. I still enjoyed it! Their other flavors included calamansi basil which was nice and citrusy. And 2 sorbet options as well. The workers there are super nice too!

Dolce diletto is a tiny and fantastic gem in burien. Small space with not huge tables but it's cozy and good for post-dinner dessert. The gelato is deliciously creamy and smooth. Pistachio is so nutty and hits the spot. The chocolate is so rich and dark. A perfect combination.

Such a cute small shop & a hidden gem that was recently discovered! A small Filipino-owned gelato business with flavors like Calamansi Basil and Guava was refreshing and unique to see. As a Filipino American, I was excited to see these types of flavors. The gelato itself was really creamy, soft, and rich. The people here were kind and I was able to sample two flavors max when I went. I wish this was located closer to me in Renton - I'd come here way more often. Overall, I enjoyed trying this place out and will come back again if around the area!

Mint chocolate chip and affogato

Cute little shop, really clean, very friendly owner/worker. I was able to try a lot of the different flavors, they were all good- rich and creamy. I ended up getting the mint cookie because it was really cooling, especially on a hot day. Partner got an affogato with coffee ice cream, the ice cream was good, the espresso was not. Overall fun experience with yummy gelato.

It's a cute small gelato place. I love the calamansi basil gelato and the Italian hot chocolate. There was only one person who was serving where we had to wait for over 20 minutes due to 3 families in front of us.

A Gelateria! Dolce Diletto Gelateria! These are not the most frequent type of frozen treat place in the Seattle area, so I got to adventure to Burien/South Seattle to try this store out. It has been a recent, past few years, trend in my life that people I know/friends go to Italy and make it look good, meanwhile, I am sitting at my computer going... maybe I should just try to find some good gelato. So I finally decided to check a place out and went with Dolce Diletto. The Gelateria owner/worker when I visited yesterday, Wednesday 23 November 2022, was warm and in good spirits. Decor was festive for the holiday season, the store warmer than the outside, and music was playing. After looking over the flavors I went with the pumpkin spice and hazelnut flavors, getting a small bowl to take back to my car to eat. While I have not been to Italy, I have had gelato before, and this by far is the best gelato I have had. It melted a little faster than American ice cream and had a smoother consistency. Spices in the pumpkin spice really shined without a loss of the pumpkin flavor, a balance I had not encountered before. The hazelnut was probably the best hazelnut-flavored product I have had (gelato or otherwise). Both were instant favorites. All around a great experience.

Such a cute shop located in downtown Burien. The gelato was so good, I'll definitely be back to try all of the flavors!

I'm super picky about gelato but I prefer it over ice cream any day. This is going to be my new go to. I literally could have licked the bowl clean. Service was perfect and it's a cute little place with a back patio.

Pistachio & hazelnut on the left and passionfruit & strawberry on the right. Absolutely delicious!

Dolce Diletto is the best gelato and sorbetto in King County, hands down. We drive all the way from Ballard, Seattle to have their super delicious creations. Very flavorful, soft and fluffy and dense all at the same time, and friendly service. So good!!!

As you can see from my review years ago, when my hubs and I came back from a trip to Italy, we wanted to find a gelato shop that had the same quality as the shops in Rome. Not all the gelato and sorbetto we had in Italy was good, some flavors tasted artificial, and during our time there, we learned how to tell the good from the meh. When we returned to Seattle, we were happy to find great-Italy-like gelato at the Bottega Italiana in Green Lake. After that shop closed (still sad about that!) we started going to their other shop by Pike Place Market. For years, this place featured delicious, fresh, quality gelato and sorbetto that tasted like the flavors they were labeled with--so strawberry tasted like eating real strawberries and so on. But on a recent visit, I got a small cup with strawberry and raspberry-dragon fruit and the first flavor I got when I tasted it was sugar. As I ate more of it, it started to remind me of Jolly Rancher candies, not totally, but enough to turn me off. They use just enough fruit to make you believe it's the flavor that it's labeled with, but the amount of sugar and other things added makes their fruit flavors as meh as the not-so-good shops we learned to avoid in Rome. Alas, I think my favorite gelato shop in Seattle has fallen prey to profit over quality. Why, Bottega Italiana, why??? It makes me and my hubs very sad. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because the service was friendly and efficient, and my hubs's dairy-based gelato flavors were all right--not great but all right. Over the years, we've tried all the other gelato shops in Seattle and none of them measure up either. I guess it's time we take another trip to Italy.

Period. No notes. I've been here a couple of times now, and everything I've had has been memorable, which is not something I say lightly about sandwiches- a category that can betray you! The Ragnar's Club is a stellar concoction of herb roasted chicken breast, bacon, cheese, and apple jalapeño slaw. It's a delicious mess. The kind where things are happening all at once and every single thing is a good idea. Absolutely outstanding. On my most recent visit, I had the Fidel Cashflow, which features some of the most tender, perfectly seasoned pork belly I've had on a sandwich. It's like an Uber Cubano--familiar, comforting, but leveled up with serious execution. Two visits, two excellent sandwiches, which now has me fully convinced that everything on the menu is as good as it looks. I trust them. I would let them choose my sandwich destiny. Service is super friendly. You order at the counter, but you're met with genuine smiles and a helpful, welcoming attitude that makes you feel like you made a very good life choice. Parking isn't the easiest, but you'll figure it out. The space itself is tiny, with just a few tables, so while you can eat there, a lot of people seem to grab it to go--presumably to eat it somewhere quiet and reflect on how good it was. Sandwich shops are a dime a dozen. Really good ones are a special find. This is a really good one. Destination-worthy

I was a bit low on monies but I REALLY wanted ice cream and ended up purchasing the single scoop of honey lavender in a cup, which totaled out to about $7.68 with tax. I'm not from Washington, but dang, that's a bit on the pricier side for me, probably because I'm used to a $6 single scoop from Baskin-Robbins. HOWEVER, despite being the cheapskate that I am, I will say that splurging on this single scoop was absolutely worth it. The honey lavender was so delicious and creamy! It was as sweet as ice cream should be, yet not overwhelming on the sugar. I would love to return with more funds to try their other flavors. I heard they have seasonal flavors, so that does pique my interest. There were 2 employees present at the time: one who took my order and the other who was retrieving my scoop of ice cream. Service was okay, but nothing memorable. I didn't stay inside, since I felt weird as a grown adult eating ice cream by myself, surrounded by kids.. so I went for a stroll back in the direction I came, enjoying my honey lavender on a lovely outcast day. There's just something about eating ice cream in cold weather that's simply delightful! For ice cream lovers, I'd recommend trying out Molly Moon's at least once.
