Can't decide between gelato and coffee? Get them both here! No, seriously, get both. The mocha is to die for. I wish they had more flavors of gelato, but I really like how soft and light their gelato is, unlike any other gelato I've ever had before. I had the signature canarino which has hints of lemon. Cute seating inside that looks like it would be cozy in the winter, but too stuffy in the summer. Everyone's favorite is outside when the weather is good.

Beautiful day out in Edmonds!! It's the perfect time for a delicious gelato, tonight I had to have the rum raisin. My absolute fav! The hubby had chocolate . Both we were delicious creamy, soft, cold and oh so good. Be patient this place gets busy it's the only gelato spot in town, there is a outdoor patio area where you can sit and enjoy. Canarino is surrounded by a nice variety of dining spots, Mexican, Italian, Thai, local seafood even a wine bar (Vinbero) and Salish brewery (fish n chips gotta try) and so much more. If your ever in the area stop by and give them a try. *Friendly staff :)

4 dairy free sorbetto options is amazing. Most places only have 1 or 2. Made me a very happy vegan. I got the mango pineapple sorbetto and it was so refreshing. This place can get very busy on the weekends. Fast casual atmosphere and sitting outside on a nice edmonds day is a must.

Cool facts about gelato I've always wondered!

Service was splendid + gelato was SO GOOD. The room was large + felt industrial in decor. Will come again!

Randomly spotted this gelato place. It was insanely warm in the building. I know it's an older building but we couldn't even enjoy our gelato inside because it was uncomfortably warm. I ordered one scoop of their Canarino gelato. Tasted creamy with a hint of lemon flavored bits. It was unique and interesting. I think a bit expensive though for $4. Overall, this place was just okay.

Caramel coconut, Whiskey cream and Butterfinger what could be better than really tasty gelato with a sunset at pleasant Edmonds very impressed with this place, prices are very modest and fair the staff was very friendly and helpful with great customer service tried lots of samples quality product very pleased and would most certainly highly recommend!

Lemon Gelato on legs lol - pretty small scoop for like 4bucks but it was super refreshing

Cute little gelato shop! Its rather expensive for such a little scoop they give, but I presume its because of the quality. They're open late on a weekday which is why we went in to celebrate getting a new work contract haha. We got a lemon, a strawberry, and a strawberry mango, the flavor is very condensed, fresh and delicious. You may notice some of the bins of gelato are larger than others. The larger ones appear to be the best sellers - those will probably be your best bets! Street parking out front

I'll give this place a 4, simply because they have some great gelato flavors. The inside is big and is decorated for the holidays and there is comfy seating all around. We got the almond gelato and a side of espresso so we could make our own affogatos since theirs has way too much liquid in their ratios. But it was fantastic. Staff is always friendlyish. Photo doesn't look great, but it tasted great!

But after stopping by the Edmonds location, I'm happy to say that Moto Pizza is the real deal. I kept things simple with a pepperoni pizza, and it was absolutely divine. The texture and flavor was perfection, and everything I could hope for from a Detroit style pan pizza. There are many other options available in the Seattle area, but they all have issues ranging from underbaked crust to overly salty pepperoni. With Moto, I had no notes. I'll also give a shout to the staff. They're super helpful and clearly love their job. If Moto can keep the magic consistent as far out as Edmonds, I'm sure they'll be successful anywhere they open up.

To order a pizza, you use their kiosk to enter your selection for a full or half size pizza. I ordered the KISSD half pizza and a lemonade. The KISSD pizza has pepperoni and spicy sausage with a spicy honey sauce on top. The pepperoni and spicy sausage were perfect, but I thought the spicy honey sauce elevated the pizza to another level! I would come back to try their other popular pizza, Mr. Pig. They also have a weekday happy hour special that looks like a great deal!

I honestly think they have excellent gelato; by itself, it would have been five stars. I also honestly think their prices are hella expensive. $7.95 for one scoop. $8.95 for the two scoops stack on top of each other in the same small cup. Downtown Seattle gelato shop charges $5.95 and $7.95 respectively. They need to lower their prices.

However, there are standout flavors like waffle cone that I had to get, as well as the more traditional flavors like pistachio. I sampled the pistachio as they claimed it was the best in town but was a little disappointed since the flavor was not too apparent and it's not the true pistachio hue that I usually see for natural pistachio (it was more green). The flavors I ended up getting were the waffle cone and strawberry rhubarb. I liked the quality of the gelato but it was more on the icy texture than smooth. For the price of $6+tax, it is one of the pricier options around for the portion. If this was the best gelato in Seattle, I'd have written the price off as a premium for quality, but I've had a few spots that in my opinion are better in texture and flavor.

About a minute after getting my drink, I took a sip and was surprised that it was cold--not even lukewarm, but actually cold. I didn't go back to ask for a remake because there were several people in line behind me and I didn't want to wait. Instead, I ended up microwaving it when I got back to my Airbnb. The latte itself was decent and had a strong espresso flavor, but the mocha syrup was way too sweet for my taste. I think it would have been much better if it had been about half as sweet. The price was also pretty high for a 12 oz latte. The customer service was disappointing. The young woman who helped me came across as rude and seemed like she didn't want to be there. That's especially unfortunate for a business located in the middle of a major tourist area. As for the drink, I'm not sure how a hot latte ends up being served cold, but it definitely shouldn't happen. I also sampled the tiramisu gelato, which was overly sweet and didn't taste very authentic. Overall, I regret spending the time, money, and calories here. There are too many great coffee shops in Seattle to settle for an experience like this.
