What drew me in was that they serve affogatos! I got mine with the honeycomb ice cream and it was delightful! It's a cute shop located in the lower level of the Lake Forest Park Town Center. Service was friendly and prompt.

Cute shop, spacious, not busy on a Saturday evening. Pistachio gelato was creamy and flavorful. Even the mini scoop is a good amount of ice cream!

So excited to be here this place is absolutely phenomenal. I hope they expand to so many more locations!!

I am so excited that Always Summer exists! The owners are fantastic, and the staff is genuinely friendly and helpful. But what really blew me away are the flavors and recipes--they're so unique, creative, and absolutely delicious. The quality of the ice cream is next level, and I left super impressed. On top of that, the decor inside is adorable--the kind of place where you want to buy every piece of swag on the shelves. I can't wait to come back and try their coffee offerings, too. This spot is in the perfect location for me--it's a great halfway point to meet friends from Seattle (I'm in Kirkland), and it's the best pick-me-up stop after a long day at Seattle Children's with the kids. I'm already planning to come back soon, whether it's with my girlfriends or for a date night with my husband. I really hope they expand throughout the greater Seattle area--this place deserves to be everywhere! am so excited that Always Summer exists! The quality of the ice cream is next level, and I left super impressed. The girl behind the counter let me try most of the flavors and by far honeycomb was my favorite, but I was also super impressed with the cardamom pistachio. Not normally I'm not a pistachio person but it's cardamom heavy and again incredibly unique never again before have I had a cardamom flavored ice cream. Bright and cheery, the vibes are high at Always Summer Ice Cream Cafe! Located in a nondescript strip mall in Lake Forest Park, Always Summer is a cozy little ice cream cafe that features a fun menu of ice cream flavors and coffee drinks. We didn't grab ice cream this time around, but did enjoy their: - Litchi Coconut Latte - Blueberry Cream Latte Shoutout to the cafe as well for not charging for non-dairy milk - woohoo! The guy working at the shop was also very friendly and knowledgeable, taking time to share a little bit about the background of the cafe. Just peeking at their shelves, but it looks like they'll eventually come out with their own merchandise? Overall, Always Summer has such a cheery interior, that I bet it'll be super popular once the weather gets better.

Cute little ice cream shop with unique and tasty flavors! There are seats and games for people to hang out.

Wow! The flavors are simply outstanding. Pistachio & Cardamom ice cream thats amazing, worthy of sharing, and returning. Crepes also are perfectly executed and just delightfully flavored. And of course.. the coffee was pulled expertly with velvety foam. Yes, we will be returning and bringing family and friends.

One of my new favorite ice cream spots! So cute and I love how unique this place is. They have ice cream sandwiches, donuts, brownies, and gulab jamun. Super friendly service. Not too sweet and again the best thing about this place are flavors you can't find elsewhere. I highly recommend this place and would come back!

Amazing and fresh ice cream! Incredible customer service! Such a cute shop :) My cousin recommended this place to me and I'm so happy I went. I'll definitely be back!

We visited and tried their Pistachio Cream and Vanilla ice cream flavors! So, so good! Not too sweet, but nicely decadent! Will definitely come back to try more of their flavors and chai drinks ASAP! The interior was bright and clean, with really cute touches of color! Great place to visit for a sweet treat, especially for the upcoming summer!

New find in lake Forest Park! This ice cream shop just opened in March 2025. The decor is colorful and caters to kids with furniture sized fot little humans. They have the regular flavors but also a variety of really interesting ones with an Indian twist - like the gulab jamun sundae. They also have masala chai - a personal favorite. My kids had the cotton candy and chocolate ice cream and loved it. We will be back to try the others!

Wanted to treat my kids and went to this new ice cream shop, it's adorable! The place is beautiful. My son tried (and loved) the strawberry ice cream and my daughter and I shared the pistachio which was amazing. They also have espresso specials and I tried the cortado bon bon which is made with condensed milk and it was spectacular, really creamy! The service was amazing and the place was immaculately clean. I hope they do great, I'm sure as soon as the farmer's market opens for the season they'll be super busy.

Really good ice cream with original flavors. Prices are reasonable as well. The crepes are a good snack always.

As said the service was fine but the food - hearth roasted mushroom frittata and breakfast burrito - was decidedly bland and under seasoned. Frittata was covered with an excessive mound of arugula. While peppery, it's asking a lot of arugula to carry/cover for a bland unseasoned water bath baked egg concoction with minimal caramelized onions and flavorless mushrooms. Desperately needs some herbs, garlic or strong cheese, some crisp edges... something. A side of chicken apple sausage was just okay. Breakfast burrito was disappointing in its own ways. Tortilla was gelatinously clinging together as if it had been prepared in advance, then reheated, and covered in what was called salsa but was more akin to basic excessively mild tomato enchilada sauce. The carnitas pork was unseasoned and dry. Potatoes were soft and lacking a crisp element that would have helped immensely. The only place salt seemed to show up was in the salted maple latte and in that it was a bit heavy. Likely not stopping back anytime soon.

But first, coffee and breakfast. I ordered the breakfast sandwich, which consists of a croissant, egg, lettuce, tomato, mayo and I added bacon for an extra charge. It was solid, with the roasted/warmed up croissant and was filling. I also liked that they had Victrola coffee, which I ordered a drip of. Strong coffee = no complaints. In addition to their made-to-order food items, like the breakfast sandwich, they also have pastries in the case and a full coffee and tea menu. It's nice to have this cafe in the Lake Forest shopping center with plenty of seats around, next to many other businesses and tons of parking nearby. I dig the convenience of it all.

My brother, who also lives and works in the area, tells me constantly how awful the customer service is there when you order food- to the point where he refuses to go. I'm celiac and can't eat anything over there so I hadn't ever experienced what I did today. Today we're at the bookstore together and I decided we need to make a coffee stop. My brother, Loren, orders a sandwich. He says he needs it to go. Person at the register is pleasant enough. I order a coffee separately and am quickly served. We wait a bit for the sandwich, and we finally go up to the counter after maybe ten minutes and see the same sandwich he ordered sitting in a basket. It has a ticket on it that says "Owen." Easy mistake, really. He says, "Is this maybe Loren's?" And the person behind the counter immediately snaps "it says Owen." Okay. So we wait a few more minutes. We're now 15 minutes out and several people who ordered after us are served. He steps up and say "hey, I ordered a BLTA on sourdough for Loren, I think it may have been put in under Owen, but-" and before he can finish his thought they snap back at him again "it's probably yours because this one hasn't been picked up." At this point he's like, "okay, I ordered mine to go- could I-" and the girl behind the counter slams a box on the counter and says "here's a box." And turns away. I'm annoyed, because while I understand we have inconvenienced you, who is standing here chatting with an off-duty coworker for 30 minutes, we literally did nothing to deserve the attitude. Loren scoops the sandwich out of the basket and puts it into the box and this girl has the nerve to turn around and say "dirty dishes go behind you at the service bar." Oh, so now we have to bus YOUR hand-off bar, too? No sorry, no thank you, not even the offer to box up his food or put away the freaking basket. Is it because Loren is very clearly not white? Or is it because this lady today had a bad day and took it out on someone for interrupting her mid-shift gossip about how the mall security is full of idiots who don't do their job? Go ahead and take a gamble and let me know, because I won't be back.

Walking in, it was nice to see the space reconfigured to allow more kitchen and pastry case space. Plus the interior is a lot more warmer with wall color and vibrant art work which is enhanced by the natural light. This makes for a more pleasant dining area. I was kind of overwhelmed with the immense selection and variety in the wrap around pastry case. I'm glad that the counter person was patient with me as I seriously gave consideration since clearly I can't say - one of each please, lol. I ended up exercising restraint and selected two ham and cheese empanadas with chimichurri and two chocolate covered chocolate alfajores with dulce de leche as takeout. The Homie ate one empanada with chimichurri later that day. I ate mine the next day with the remaining chimichurri. We can both attest that the quality has remained despite the near five year hiatus. The alfajores also was delicious, no surprise there. Next visit, I'm going to inquire further about the assortment of pastries in the front pastry case. There was no individual signage displayed during my visit. Again, glad to see another indie business survive post-pandemic and during these challenging economic times.

Moons ago, my friend and I drove across one state to hunt for empanadas --- that's how badly we wanted one. Seattle -- you don't have to work that hard. "LOVE" is real close by! WESTERN WA & BEYOND: Go to LAKE CITY for the most SAVORY & SWEET empanadas!! The empanadas are HUGE but most of all, DELICIOUS! Walk in, take in the glorious aromas! Breathe it in. It's pure joy! We eat with our eyes. I was mesmerized by the baked good display. It is a very thoughtful, organized and wonderfully presented food items presentation. So much love goes into making these baked delights! Still, that's not where it ends-- look at my pictures. There are many goodies to choose from. Don't drool too hard. Just get there and order a box of many! This place has an OLD WORLD CHARM. In a small way, I fell in love with the decorations, colors, the smell of warm sugar, the space ... I talked the few customers present. Every person said roughly the same thing, "TRY EVERYTHING. You can't go wrong. It's all amazing. Sweet or savory. No matter." Everything is HAND-MADE. The bakery is small but the space, display, warm and welcoming. I found street parking -- no problem. I was waiting for my dog to get bathed and groomed nearby. Found myself wanting a snack. Just needed a little something to hold me over until a real meal. Had no idea that my beef [there is also chicken, many more flavors] empanada is a MEAL in itself. The man who waits on you knows his products very well even though it takes a few seconds for him to WARM UP to you. Still, he is a wonderful, friendly & hard working man. An amazing shop speaks for itself when you walk in. I'd drive across state lines to eat at SEATANGO! Try it and see how you like it. I suspect, like any place -- going OFF PEAK times will garnish you more attention by the wait staff. Still, don't wait to go. Go to Seatango now ... no regrets! PS -- Please Understand. This is my first time ever giving a WA bakery 5 stars.
