Cafe Dolce is a new indie cafe located next door to Sodam Chicken in Shoreline's North City neighborhood. I finally had the opportunity to stop by mid morning (10/13/22). There is limited street parking along 15th Ave NE or below & behind the shared building. The adjacent lot at street level is for two other businesses and subject to tow. The cafe interior is very clean and plentiful natural light. Upon inquiry, I was told this cafe has been opened for seven weeks, with not much advertisement, and still seeking to hire additional staff. Wall art was currently being hung during my visit. Onsite seating is ample and a few outdoor seating available too. I noticed to the left of the main counter, there is additional conference room space. So if you're a group or organization that needs meeting space, please inquire directly. I ordered a 16 oz mocha and pain au chocolat to go. The mocha was on point - perfect temperature with balanced milk, chocolate, and espresso flavors. The pastry was fresh and surprisingly tasty. The front pastry and refrigerated cases were well stocked with a variety of pastries, desserts, and beverages. I plan to return because I realized I forgot to inquire about stamp cards or note their business hours. I glanced and saw that they have onsite WiFi though. As a Shoreline resident, there are very few indie cafes. There's Cafe Aroma (Ridgecrest), Richmond Beach Coffee Company (Richmond Beach), and Black Coffee Northwest (on 99/Aurora)...so this is a big deal to me and welcome Cafe Dolce to Shoreline. Stop by, say hello, and support another neighborhood indie!

A cozy little cafe, I got the iced lavender latte (they have a selection of flavored syrups) so the creation is endless. It's perfectly sweet and the quality of espresso tastes great. We also got their ham and cheese roll! ALSO YUMMY

The coffee isn't very good, which is too bad because north city really needs a good coffee spot.

I received a subpar coffee experience due to an unfortunate blend of tastelessness coffee with an overwhelming chocolate dominance.

Good espresso. That's literally the only thing I need from a coffee place and they've got it.

The place is cute and well decorated with a good amount of seating. We got the Oreo croffle which was so delicious. My toddler absolutely loved it and kept wanting more. I highly recommend getting one. Only complaint is it was extremely warm inside so it wasn't very comfortable sitting there. Hopefully it will be more comfortable next time.

Can I order an iced tiramisu latte with al--" and was immediately cut off with, "K, size?" I started again and said I wanted the drink with almond milk in a 16 oz size, and she interrupted me a second time to ask, "What size?" It felt like she wasn't listening to me to all. What stood out even more was that customers who came in after me were greeted with a much friendlier and more upbeat attitude. The difference in treatment was noticeable. When she brought my drink, I said, "Thank you," and received a simple "Mm yeah" in response. Combined with the rest of the interaction, it came across as rude and dismissive. I've had positive experiences at this location before, which is why this interaction was so surprising. I hope management addresses customer service expectations and ensures all guests are treated with the same level of courtesy and respect. One thing that also stood out to me was the apparent lack of diversity among the staff. While I can't speak to the company's hiring practices, it was noticeable compared to many other businesses in the area. Combined with the way I felt treated during my visit, it left me with concerns about the overall culture and customer experience at this location.

Their rice pockets are SO good and incredibly filling, my latest obsession. I've tried the packaged 4-pack from H Mart before, but these are made fresh to order and seared, which takes them to a whole different level. Even though I keep coming back for the rice pockets, the rest of the menu looks delicious and gives me plenty of reasons to branch out on future visits. If you're already stopping by H Mart, definitely make time for a visit. I'll keep coming back for those rice pockets!

We visited specifically to order a sweet corn latte, a drink which we've never had before and were interested in trying. Sweet Corn Latte, Iced 20oz ($7) - Surprisingly sweetness adjustments are allowed on this drink. The drink itself has a nice mellow corn aroma and a balanced milky flavor. It isn't too sweet. There's some fresh corn mixed in that's not that sweet compared to most canned sweet corn. There's stabilized whipped cream sweet on top studded with corn and then sprinkled with cocoa powder for some color. We asked to upgrade to 20oz but didn't get charged any more. Not sure how that works! (4/5) The drink probably has better presentation if ordered for dine-in rather than to-go given that the cap they give crushes the whipped cream. Photos from other Yelpers indicate that they have domed lids but for some reason they gave us a flat lid. K Cafe Dabang serves some pretty tasty drinks. We shop at the H-Mart around once a month, so it makes sense to return to try some more sweets. Bathrooms: Two individual rooms, one for men, one for women.

They even had a gulab jamun inspired ice cream, which really caught my attention. There were four of us, so we ordered a sundae with a brownie and two scoops of ice cream - it was generous and easily enough to share. It was my first time having a brownie served warm with ice cream, and I absolutely loved that touch. The fruit flavors were especially enjoyable, particularly the mango and banana chocolate chip. The cardamom flavor was a bit overpowering for my taste, but the mango was definitely a standout. The staff were incredibly patient and let us sample as many flavors as we wanted, all with a smile. I'll definitely be coming back!

I'm a creature of habit and often stuck to the other side of the complex. I did not realize that One Bite Cafe took over the former Great Harvest Bread. I had checked out One Bite Cafe before in Seattle's Roosevelt neighborhood out of curiosity regarding croffles, but it didn't not leave a lasting impression at the time (open since 2019, with that visit in July 2022). However, when The College Friend set up a meet up at the Lake Forest Park site yesterday (open since May 2022, this visit on 4/9/26). There is an interior entry from the two level retail area and an exterior entry adjacent to the big shared parking lot. It took me a few tries until I found a spot. I was kindly greeted upon entry while the counter person was assisting the customer ahead of me. I ordered and paid directly on the convenient touch screen kiosk located to the left of the main register. I liked the interior transformation. Lots of onsite seating configurations and pleasant decor. Overhead music played the Beatles, which was a pleasant surprise. The wrap around pastry cases with well placed menu placards showed the variety of menu offerings. There's a wide variety of bevs, sweet and savory pastries, desserts, sandwiches, and even gluten free items from NuFlours. I ordered a 22oz iced classic milk tea with 75% sweetness and no toppings, plus some Korean sausage bread. The College Friend decided on a toasted Reuben with chips. We also shared a Portuguese egg tart. We were onsite for three hours. I noticed a constant stream of customers who also dined onsite, as well as, folks getting items to go. I appreciated observing the consistent pleasant and helpful counter staff, all with welcoming smiles! I learned that One Bite Cafe has grown to four sites: Seattle/Roosevelt, Lake Forest Park, Woodinville, and Federal Way. That's great to see ongoing success for this local, indie cafe chain. Lake Forest Park Town Center is lucky to have a variety of cafe, bar, and restaurant destinations. One Bite Cafe gets a collective 5 star for this first time visit.
