Cafe Dolce is a new indie cafe located next door to Sodam Chicken in Shoreline's North City neighborhood. I finally had the opportunity to stop by mid morning (10/13/22). There is limited street parking along 15th Ave NE or below & behind the shared building. The adjacent lot at street level is for two other businesses and subject to tow. The cafe interior is very clean and plentiful natural light. Upon inquiry, I was told this cafe has been opened for seven weeks, with not much advertisement, and still seeking to hire additional staff. Wall art was currently being hung during my visit. Onsite seating is ample and a few outdoor seating available too. I noticed to the left of the main counter, there is additional conference room space. So if you're a group or organization that needs meeting space, please inquire directly. I ordered a 16 oz mocha and pain au chocolat to go. The mocha was on point - perfect temperature with balanced milk, chocolate, and espresso flavors. The pastry was fresh and surprisingly tasty. The front pastry and refrigerated cases were well stocked with a variety of pastries, desserts, and beverages. I plan to return because I realized I forgot to inquire about stamp cards or note their business hours. I glanced and saw that they have onsite WiFi though. As a Shoreline resident, there are very few indie cafes. There's Cafe Aroma (Ridgecrest), Richmond Beach Coffee Company (Richmond Beach), and Black Coffee Northwest (on 99/Aurora)...so this is a big deal to me and welcome Cafe Dolce to Shoreline. Stop by, say hello, and support another neighborhood indie!

A cozy little cafe, I got the iced lavender latte (they have a selection of flavored syrups) so the creation is endless. It's perfectly sweet and the quality of espresso tastes great. We also got their ham and cheese roll! ALSO YUMMY

The coffee isn't very good, which is too bad because north city really needs a good coffee spot.

I received a subpar coffee experience due to an unfortunate blend of tastelessness coffee with an overwhelming chocolate dominance.

Good espresso. That's literally the only thing I need from a coffee place and they've got it.

They even had a gulab jamun inspired ice cream, which really caught my attention. There were four of us, so we ordered a sundae with a brownie and two scoops of ice cream - it was generous and easily enough to share. It was my first time having a brownie served warm with ice cream, and I absolutely loved that touch. The fruit flavors were especially enjoyable, particularly the mango and banana chocolate chip. The cardamom flavor was a bit overpowering for my taste, but the mango was definitely a standout. The staff were incredibly patient and let us sample as many flavors as we wanted, all with a smile. I'll definitely be coming back!

But we were pleasantly surprised by the quality. She finally chose the Banana Chocolate Chip, and it was incredibly fresh--she loved every bite! The person at the counter was so patient with my indecisive kid, which I really appreciated. We also tried the Honey Cardamom Latte, and it was amazing. They even pressed the cardamom right in front of us! Overall, a lovely experience and definitely worth a visit.

I'm a creature of habit and often stuck to the other side of the complex. I did not realize that One Bite Cafe took over the former Great Harvest Bread. I had checked out One Bite Cafe before in Seattle's Roosevelt neighborhood out of curiosity regarding croffles, but it didn't not leave a lasting impression at the time (open since 2019, with that visit in July 2022). However, when The College Friend set up a meet up at the Lake Forest Park site yesterday (open since May 2022, this visit on 4/9/26). There is an interior entry from the two level retail area and an exterior entry adjacent to the big shared parking lot. It took me a few tries until I found a spot. I was kindly greeted upon entry while the counter person was assisting the customer ahead of me. I ordered and paid directly on the convenient touch screen kiosk located to the left of the main register. I liked the interior transformation. Lots of onsite seating configurations and pleasant decor. Overhead music played the Beatles, which was a pleasant surprise. The wrap around pastry cases with well placed menu placards showed the variety of menu offerings. There's a wide variety of bevs, sweet and savory pastries, desserts, sandwiches, and even gluten free items from NuFlours. I ordered a 22oz iced classic milk tea with 75% sweetness and no toppings, plus some Korean sausage bread. The College Friend decided on a toasted Reuben with chips. We also shared a Portuguese egg tart. We were onsite for three hours. I noticed a constant stream of customers who also dined onsite, as well as, folks getting items to go. I appreciated observing the consistent pleasant and helpful counter staff, all with welcoming smiles! I learned that One Bite Cafe has grown to four sites: Seattle/Roosevelt, Lake Forest Park, Woodinville, and Federal Way. That's great to see ongoing success for this local, indie cafe chain. Lake Forest Park Town Center is lucky to have a variety of cafe, bar, and restaurant destinations. One Bite Cafe gets a collective 5 star for this first time visit.

The dango was OK but the soft serve and the MBR toppings were also tasty. Definitely a nice little treat! I know that there is a seasonal rotation, so may not be matcha if we were to come back.

It's almost a literal hole in the wall, it's a small booth within a restaurant, but you order at the outside window. There aren't many options so you don't have to be indecisive! Hokkaido soft serve topped with MBR (mochi, brown sugar, and roasted soybean powder) is the classic order 10/10, but you can be adventurous! The yaki imo brûlée is a seasonal one (not sure how long it'll be around for) but it's basically a sweet potato mash topped with sugar and torched, a balance of creamy and crunchy from the burnt sugar- I personally liked the OG better but this was a good twist I'd like to try the matcha next time I'm around !
