The bread itself is kind of dry and crumbly, either not a typical milk bread recipe or perhaps it had been sitting on the shelf for too long. (2/5) Corn Mochi ($5.99) - This comes with six pieces. The corn mochi has a nice chewy tapioca flour base. There's black sesame sprinkled throughout giving a burst of nutty flavor. I expected to see whole corn kernels baked inside but I think they just use corn flour in the dough. It's way less sweet than the soboro.
