Every year I come back I love this place. I really enjoy the ham and cheese croissant but lately I've not been able to enjoy the delicious coffee here so I had steamed apple cider with caramel in it. I believe it is called the candy apple and is worth every sip. I'm so glad to come back home every year this is my favorite place to stop . They have a number of other pastries that I can't wait to try and when I can drink coffee again it'll be my first stop.

Me loving my cappuccino this morning , thank you to my lovely ladro friends

Excellent coffee , excellent baristas I love them Best soy and oat cappuccinos in town Their homemade syrups are out of this world The rose cardamom and honey lavender are exquisite . The espresso chip coffee cake is the best

Good for studying / working. Tables with enough surface area that are placed by outlets. One big table if you're ready to set up camp. Two "comfy" areas: One for chatting and another for a solitary activity like reading. Coffee is good, baristas are nice, wifi is good. Added bonus: good natural lighting around sunset in the winter. The rays shine through but don't get in your eyes (at least from where I was).

In short Everything you love about a friendly neighborhood…read morecoffee shop and hangout. Great coffee! Even the merch is interesting. In long My little coffee side trips in this neighborhood will continue for a while. I'm now regularly in Edmonds with just enough time to grab a cup. This is the first sit-down place I've hit. I had just enough time to get something to go. It's a modest older building a couple blocks away from the main drag, and in Edmonds, a couple blocks is all you need for serious peace and quiet. On a Monday afternoon, there wasn't even much vehicle traffic on the road outside, but the locals were out in force--couples, groups, everybody cheerful. All ages. There are maybe 20 seats in here, with that many more outside. First thing you see when you walk in is the little farmer's-market type merch display that some local independent coffee shops often seem to have. Stickers, mugs, hats. I am anti-clutter overall, but still a sucker for stickers and mugs, and almost bought some stuff here. The kids behind the counter are super nice, super upbeat without being overcaffeinated. Very warm and genuine. My sister and I took our time puzzling through exactly what we wanted and the dude was smiling the whole time, got the order down perfectly. Couple minutes later it was ready. The drip coffee was fantastic, really hit the spot for my sis. It was late in the day so I got a heavily modified cup of tea (bergamot with lavender, something else, and almond milk). I've never had tea any way but black, ever, and this was delicious. I've never had tea with a cute name, either--"Edmonds Fog"--but that just made it easier to order. We were out the door with that and a really tasty jam biscuit for under $15. When I have time to park and go in to order, this place will be tough to beat for sure.

I ordered my usual Mocha Breve, and the coffee was surprisingly good - great flavor and just the right temperature. But let's chat about the service... As some reviews suggested, the service was a major letdown! The front servers seemed more annoyed than a cat in a bath. I asked for a bagel on the side, and both servers were less than thrilled to help me or even mention that I had to toast it myself! Apparently, there's a DIY toasting station for your pastries. The kicker? I ended up tipping 15% even though I did pretty much all the work - toasting the bagel and spreading the cream cheese. Which btw the bread even toasted is hard as a rock! It's a local joint, and the lady next to me clearly a local , was practically tapping her foot, trying to rush me as I waited for the cashier to make sure she's ready to take my order. Would I recommend this place? You might have a different experience so go. Am I gonna do a drive to comeback probably not. Don't believe the hype.

Despite being in business for nearly 13 years, this is my first visit to Cafe Louvre (12/9/25). After two days of staying in due to the stormy weather, I decided to venture out and try some place new. I snagged a 3 hour parking slot, yay! The cafe is in a shared building with six other businesses. Pleasant interior with natural light, mellow overhead music, various seating with 2 & 3 tops, communal seating by a fireplace, and group seating off to the side that can be reserved. It is currently decorated for the holidays, but also featured work from local artists. First visit & first meal of the day coming up on 1pm, I opted for a grande mocha and a 4 inch proscuitto sandwich. The overhead menu and display cases have a nice variety. Pastries are from Macrina and coffee roasts are from Caffe Umbria. Their espresso beverages are very generous. The grande mocha was served in a huge mug, reminiscent of a souffle ramekin. Well crafted too. I enjoyed the 4 inch proscuitto sandwich. Perfectly sized and sliced, not too big, not too small, Goldilocks just right. Served warm with proscuitto, melty cheese, pesto spread, spinach, and basil in a soft, square roll. Most of the folks onsite are having active convos or business type meetups, only two on laptops. And one doing a Yelp post, lol. After being onsite for 2.5 hours on a weekday early afternoon, seems to be an older demographic that visits here. Clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Love discovering new & established businesses in the north end, like Cafe Louvre.

Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with cozy vibes. They have a lot of different coffee and pastries. We got a variety of pastries to try. First was the cinnamon roll, we had it warmed up at home and it still tasted super fresh and delicious. The M&M's cookie was huge, not too sweet, perfectly soft and crunchy. The other pastries we had was raspberry croissant, and a muffin, all tasted pretty good. I think all their pastries are fresh, delicious, and not that sweet compared to other bakeries. I highly recommend getting their cinnamon roll. This cafe is perfect for the all seasons especially summer if you want to sit outside and enjoy the view of downtown Edmonds. They have plenty of seatings inside and outdoor. Parking is limited since it's downtown Edmonds so it's a bit challenging but it's worth it because you get to enjoy fresh pastries and you can also have a nice walk down to the beautiful town and beach after.

Large space, lots of chatter, and friendly service. Number Three Combo Club - we wanted waffles this time but also bacon and sausage. That said, we waited nearly an hour for a table for our party of six. They sat us in a booth, clearly designed for 4. The check comes, the (excellent) server graciously separates the bill for us which I appreciate. She added a 20% gratuity which I understand for large parties. However, I did some basic math and recognized they add the tip amount and then charge tax on the bill plus the tip. I pointed this out to the server but she was clearly too busy to do anything about it. While for our table, it's not a ton of money, over time and who knows how many tables, this is, in my opinion a massive and unacceptable mistake.
