Update: The owner reached out to me with an apology, the screenshot is included. I appreciate them looking into the situation and offering a giftcard. Giving everything that happened I'm not interested in coming back with or without a gift card. Had the owner looked into the incident first before accusing me of maliciously lying maybe I'd feel different. I hope this situation doesn't happen to anyone else, but want to update and post the screenshot for transparency.

Strawberry Sorbetto + Mexican Vanilla Gelato
Maxine L.

Wanted a bit of a sweet treat, so came by this fainting goat spot. It's a super casual spot with a few tables and counter seats to enjoy your treat. It was relatively empty, so we were able to try a bunch of samples without feeling rushed. We ended up getting the Mexican vanilla bean and the strawberry sorbetto. Separate, they can be a lot, but together, it paired well. I wouldn't say they're very gelato-y though, it's not as creamy and thick as other gelato places. I also wish they had more variety in sizing. I like having 2 flavors but the small is still pretty big :c

Good place to get gelato. I still prefer a squirrel still gelato. I wish it was a bit more creamy as it taste like ice cream. Good service, great location and I'd come back!

The staff was very friendly and patient with me as I tried some flavors! She was also very patient with the kids after us. The place feels clean and has a good ambiance for hanging out if you need a moment to rest. Regarding the ice cream and sorbet itself, it is very very sweet. Admittedly, I am not a fan of super sweet desserts and ice cream but if you are, you might like this! My boyfriend and I got the pineapple sorbet and sea salt caramel. Both flavors are good although the sea salt caramel tasted like coffee. Not exactly my go-to ice cream place but I'm glad I tried it! Decent price for ice cream!

so yummy! i got the pear sorbet which was so refreshing on a hot day. it tasted exactly like an american pear. texture wise it wasn't like the typical sorbet and kind of had a fluffy texture. my friend got a chocolate flavor of some sort and it was so rich and creamy. kind of reminded me of those popsicle fudge bars from childhood.

Pistachio, tiramisu and fig

I highly recommend this place! I was absolutely blown away by their gelato--it's that good. We ordered a medium size, and it was more than enough for the four of us to share. We tried pistachio, tiramisu, and fig, and every single flavor was incredible. On top of that, the staff was so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I'm already planning my next visit to explore more flavors. If you're debating which gelato spot to try, stop thinking and just come here! It was about $9.5 for medium size (3 scoops/flavors).

An amazing local gelato spot, simple favors, generous portions, and good service. I wish the prices were a little lower, typical Seattle dessert prices, but it's cheaper than a plane ticket to Italy.

Small - one scoop Pistachio, one scoop Mexican Vanilla Bean

Came in, server let me try four flavors. I probably could've tried more but didn't want to get too much LOL. It was all pretty good, but I ended up getting the Pistachio and Mexican Vanilla Bean. The matcha was pretty good too but my friends ordered it and I hate ordering the same thing. Pretty good dessert, would definitely come back!

A medium with chocolate, Mexican vanilla bean, and pistachio

My friends and I tried the chocolate fondante, Mexican vanilla bean, and pistachio, and tiramisu in a pint. The medium size, which allows 3 flavors, was pretty hefty and definitely for sharing with friends. The gelatos were all smooth and creamy. The chocolate had a fairly bitter taste to it and I thought it tasted like cocoa powder. I'd categorize it as an adult chocolate rather than one you'd want to give kids. I've never had Mexican vanilla bean before but the flavor itself was so pronounced and strong in the gelato, which I appreciated. The pistachio and tiramisu ones had more subtle flavors The medium was $7.50

Went after dinner for desert- I was hoping for one vegan option but they were all out. The group I was with raved about the tiramisu flavor and pistachio. I really loved their event poster wall and they had good jams playing.

Delicious dessert that's sizable too. Though not quite crazy enough to impress and exceed expectations, Fainting Goat is above average. Gelato is an improved version of ice cream that can also be considered healthier with less fat and less sugar. It's also typically denser with less air whereas ice cream sometimes is half (50%) air. We got the Mint stratiacella, chai latte, Fainting Goats Milk with, and Chocolate Fondante I'd rank my favorite to least favorite as: chocolate fondante, chai latte, mint, and fainting goat My partner ranked: mint, chocolate, chai latte, fainting goat The fainting goat simply had a more indescribable taste that was a little too unique for our likings. It wasn't necessarily bad, just different. Some type of vanilla with The mint was very standard but hard to go wrong with. Chocolate was extremely rich. Chai latte was a cinnamon flavor with strong hints of sweetness One complaint was that my utensil had plastic bits ripping off and I eventually found out I ate some bits thinking it was part of the gelato. Super tiny bits but awful to think about. Debated on how this affected my perspective for a bit but I think it's a negative.

Top to bottom - chocolate fondante, goats milk, pink guava

But honestly? The energy worked. The staff was moving with that calm, unbothered flow only seasoned baristas have. Friendly, attentive, and somehow keeping the line moving without making anyone feel rushed. Respect. Light was flooding every corner; that soft Seattle glow that makes you want to pull out your journal and pretend you live inside a cozy indie film. Ventilation was perfect. Temperature was perfect. Seating options? Abundant. And not the awkward wobbly kind either. This spot is built for lingering. I grabbed a latte, sat down, and immediately fell into an art journaling trance. There's something about being surrounded by curated shelves of books and cute little treasures that just unlocks your brain. It's the kind of place where you look up after ten minutes and somehow an hour passed. This was my first visit, but it's already on my list of "places I'll actually come back to and get work done." A rare category, honestly. If you're looking for a café that feels like a creative reset button; this is a great one.

I looked up their yelp page as well as their Instagram and knew I had to come just to get one of their lattes with their amazing foam art! They have a variety of waffles and sandwiches on the menu that seemed appetizing however because I got here after 3:30 the kitchen was closed but they have a variety of pre-made burritos and sandwiches that you could still buy. I love that they have a huge variety of non-dairy milks including soy which is my favorite. I wanted to get the turmeric latte however I mentioned that I couldn't wait to see the foam art and the Baristas told me that due to the light color of the latte, it would be difficult to see the foam art so I instead ordered the red velvet latte with soy and it was as delicious as it was cute! I also got the egg and sausage cheese burrito and it was chock full of eggs and sausage... very filling. The decor and seating options are plentiful upstairs and downstairs. They also have free pineapple infused water for guests to drink which I appreciate. Seems like a popular spot for UW students to do work as there are lots of outlets for their laptops.

I was surprised that the cake was so cheap around $4 but after the first bite, it tasted like it was from a Safeway bakery, which made me feel a bit scammed. The latte was a very light roast, so the coffee flavor was barely noticeable and it felt more like drinking hot milk. On the positive side, the servers were sweet and friendly. It took about 5-7 minutes to get our drinks, and the place was packed around 1:30 pm on a Saturday.
