Christmas Cookie latte
Tiffany S.

I love this drive thru Woods in Edmonds off of Hwy 99/Aurora! The Christmas cookie latte was tasty and we shared a piece of their warmed banana bread which hit the spot on a cool fall day. The staff that worked the window was super friendly and took the time to make sure my special order of a 1/2 cafe coffee was just right. I've been inside once and it's a cook spot with working space as well as clean and cozy. 220th & Hwy 99 - stop by!

Iced Vanilla latte w/oat milk $9.50!
Tribecca B.

This is pretty basic coffee. It's a good cup, but you're basically paying for the fancy building and name. Almost $10 is insane for an iced latte with oat milk and an extra shot. This place is an example of what's wrong with the coffee industry. I could understand having these prices in Bellevue, but to be located on aurora next to Ezells and winco is pretty out of touch IMO. Additionally, they are not environmentally friendly with their cups, and don't recycle- things I would expect for the price they charge. I only come here to meet a specific group of friends because it's central and no one likes to go to Starbucks, but I'd never come here otherwise. Don't recommend, unless you just enjoyed overpriced coffee. Go to Bigfoot down the street.

White Mocha Frappe

My boyfriend and I just went to Woods Coffee Shop,(Edmonds)we love the nice wood carved tables and the friendly staff and the coffee was very tasty especially my white mocha frappe. As you can see in the photo it was so good that I couldn't wait to write the review before I almost finished my drink.

Egg bites. Grilled cheese sandwich. Almond bearclaw

Absolutely one of the greatest experiences as a first timer here. Customer service was excellent. Was in and out in 15-20 minutes. Food was delicious. Drinks were yummy. Will definitely recommend and come back! - almond bearclaw - the paste inside was a perfect pair for the crunch and almond on the outside. - egg bites - FLAVORFUL - grilled cheese sandwich - CHEEESY - hot chocolate - perfect temp for kids. Finished it quick - hot caramel macchiato - wasn't too sweet or too bitter - ice matcha w/ vanilla syrup - REFRESHING ( barista recommended the exact drink and he didn't disappoint )

The staff was super helpful! Very knowledgeable and I believe Michael helped me- he knew about gluten free options and was able to help me out with food. The coffee is always amazing and it was made right. There was plenty of space to work in and it wasn't too loud or disruptive. I recommend!

I have come enough time to this place to expect the unexpected. I drive all the way from lake forest park just for their coffee. Sad to say that I have had enough gambling of their coffee is going to be a hit or miss. It used to be very consistent and really great but nowadays I see a lot of new people and you will never know until you take the first sip. It's a matter of giving them 5 star vs 2 stars. When it's good, it's absolutely amazing and when it's bad, it makes you regret you paid that much and drove all the way for this coffee. Advise to management - please be consistent with how your employees make the drinks and employee schedules because I know which barista makes the best one and can come when she's around. At the end of the day if you don't focus on your drink and service, you will be losing customers. - disappointed customer

Stopped by when I was in the area, got the large white chocolate mocha, it was good but a little bit sweet for me, something to remember next time. The staff is super nice and friendly, there is good amount of seating inside. Would come back again for sure

Mango fruit smoothie and blueberry spinach smoothie
Flora L.

This is my second time coming to the coffee shop. I loved the interior as it feels like you're in a cabin with the fireplace and wooden furniture. The first time I visited, my family and I ordered sweet Frappuccino types of drinks. They were very sweet, which served purpose for our sweet tooth. This time, I tried my luck with the healthier options, and I was not disappointed! Mango smoothie was sweet enough and refreshing. The blueberry and spinach smoothie was less sweet and tasted healthy. It lacked a bit of flavor but still satisfied my smoothie cravings. Service was fast and friendly. I would definitely be back again.

Everything that Panera Bread did wrong, Woods Coffee did right. My first Woods Coffee experience did not disappoint. It feels like a much, much better version of Starbucks. It has a lot more food options and just the right amount of drink variety. With that said, the sweetness level on these drinks by default also feel like they're on the same level as Starbucks. This is a great little spot with lots of work tables and bars with chargers, lots of parking, and a drive thru too! The workers here are fast and committed to getting your order right.

Coconut cream cold brew

Get to your closest Woods Coffee to get the coconut cream cold brew - it is SO delicious! I am so happy there's more Woods Coffee that are popping up closer to Seattle. I use to stop at the one up near Bellingham but love that they are expanding.

Avalanche

A coffee spot originating from Bellingham I believe? Or at least more popular near WWU, Woods Coffee has some pretty good coffee, is a decent spot to do work, and generally has convenient locations. Interior here is spacious and there are outlets at every single table which is crazy. I wanted to try something special here so I opted for the Avalanche drink. Avalanche - like a stronger coffee brother of a caramel frappe, the Avalanche is a creamy, somewhat nutty dessert that packs a punch. Strong caramel, super sweet, and gives a buzz to wake you up, I think it hits all the marks for a coffee dessert. Might be a bit too sweet for typical coffee. There'll be a caffeine and sugar rush along with a crash later.

Iced white chocolate & carmel breve.
Heather P.

I really enjoyed their iced white chocolate with caramel breve. And I really appreciate that when we got to the window they read the order to us because something got missed and we were able to correct it before they gave us our drinks and food. We will likely be stopping here every day of our trip until we head home.

Pretty cool find if you are ever in the neighborhood!…read more Mountlake Terrace is not a place I frequently visit, but I did because of the convenience with the light rail - it's about a 9-minute walk from the light rail station. The interior has a warm and cozy vibe; I also dig the lighting. There's a good amount and variety of seating. They don't have outlets on the floor at the benches in the center, but there are a few outlets on the walls, so if you need to charge your devices I recommend sitting at the chairs next to the treasure chest (where I'm writing this review lol). Space seems very dog friendly, and there are 2 tables outside where the fur baby pawrents would typically sit with their fur babies. I also saw dog treats at the cashier that dog owners are free to take. I guess if you wanted to eat them you could, but I would judge you. For my drink, I got the Woodsman - opted for iced, large size, and whole milk. The drink was very chai spice-forward, which I loved. The staff member who took my order asked for my name, and later on when I went up to inquire the WiFi password, he addressed me by name - impressive. The owner (?), Heather, also thanked me for coming here after I picked up my drink. Needless to say, super friendly people. I didn't get a pastry or sandwich, but that's the goal for my next visit!

Given this I cannot accurately rate the Woodsman as I got it with almond milk and wasn't a fan. My husband is also in the same boat as me with regards to milk. Please consider adding at least a 2% although skim would be amazing. If you like whole milk/alternatives please give this place a shot!

In long This is part of my new regular tour of Edmonds coffee spots since I'm down here a time or two a week these days. Ladro has lots of fans and it's easy to see why, even if the smaller mom-and-pop places get higher rates around here. Ladro deserves credit for doing everything right. This is an older strip mall, probably built around the time that phrase was coined. Wide variety of businesses, wonky shapes and angles in the parking lot. Inside, there's the big coffee bar on one side, and tables and chairs over there. They have some merch for sale, including plenty of choices among their own house-roasted beans. Lots of blends, and even a few interesting-looking single-origin bags, too. Not any cheaper than the big premium roasters charge. I'd have to try some of the beans before I could say if that seems justified, but I bet it might be. You can order ahead, but not only did I choose to order manually, I went inside and looked the poor kids in the eye. They all seemed to enjoy each others' company, and their nice work environment translates into a nice ambiance for relaxing with a cup. I ordered chai lattes to go, and they were boiling hot and tasted like they were from a tea bag (not the sugar-bomb concentrate that some places use). I also had a brown butter scone that was great even at room temp. They didn't get overly chatty making the drinks, but they were definitely friendly, and everything was ready quickly. Nice kid clocking off for the day even held the door for me as we went out, given that my hands were full. Honestly, if you didn't know this was a chain (albeit a small, local one), you'd think this place existed simply to caffeinate locals in the neighborhood. Everything about it has that nice neighborly, next-door vibe. They don't have anything quirky about them, really, and that huge pastry case is definitely not filled by on-site bakeries at every location. But it all still FEELS like a friendly spot down the street from home. 2 coffees and a scone were about $20 before tip. Could be better, could be worse. I'd definitely come back.

Fortunately, there was no traffic so it was a 20 min drive easily. However, a lot seemed to have changed from about a year ago? We got popcorn chicken which was $9 for a very tiny plate (like the medium size sampler food container you get at food tasting events) which is a joke of a portion, and the chicken was not even good quality - heavy on the batter. Compared to pictures a year ago, where the portions looked much much larger. They are so stingy on the amount of chicken, that I thought they were giving us a sample to try before they make a real batch lmaooooo. I tried the Kocochi milk tea with creme brulee, boba, jelly, etc. Sounds good on paper, inflation I get it, was expecting $7 but it was $8, plus tax, so it is actually not that competitive of a price anymore now that I think about it. I could get a very good quality boba drink for $7.50+tax elsewhere without all the fancy toppings, but with boba included. I was pretty disappointed with the quality. The boba is so overcooked that it is mushy, and the creme brulee was not thick enough that I have to use a spoon to even be able to get any of it out (instead of being able to drink it from the other side which is what it is supposed to be). I'd avoid this place unless this is a one off but I will need to be redeemed a better experience before recommending this place. There are better options in the area

I tried to revisit once during the holiday season, but the pastry case was cleaned out except for three cookies. I had much better luck stopping in and hanging out onsite (1/8/26). Same welcoming counter person/barista. Better available variety, and I opted for the featured special, 12oz mocha and a pain au chocolat for $9, which was a great value! There were just two others onsite. There were a lot of takeout customers, including regulars, that I observed while onsite at a nearby two top. My mocha was decent, the pain au chocolat was fresh, good flavor and texture, despite being pretty hollow. The photo I took created quite the illusion, looked like it had mass quantities of melty chocolate. Despite the bakery/cafe has an unassuming, now faded yellow exterior and well worn interior, French and Vietnamese inspired Grand Pere Bakery has quite the longevity record and staying power since March 2014.
