I love this drive thru Woods in Edmonds off of Hwy 99/Aurora! The Christmas cookie latte was tasty and we shared a piece of their warmed banana bread which hit the spot on a cool fall day. The staff that worked the window was super friendly and took the time to make sure my special order of a 1/2 cafe coffee was just right. This is pretty basic coffee. It's a good cup, but you're basically paying for the fancy building and name. Almost $10 is insane for an iced latte with oat milk and an extra shot. This place is an example of what's wrong with the coffee industry. I could understand having these prices in Bellevue, but to be located on aurora next to Ezells and winco is pretty out of touch IMO. Additionally, they are not environmentally friendly with their cups, and don't recycle- things I would expect for the price they charge. I only come here to meet a specific group of friends because it's central and no one likes to go to Starbucks, but I'd never come here otherwise. Don't recommend, unless you just enjoyed overpriced coffee. Go to Bigfoot down the street. read more

Great Chia. Upset since the app changed, Edmonds WA no longer lists favorite orders. Like very much there are two ways to approach drive thru, North bound off Highway 99 and east bound off 220th. I have come enough time to this place to expect the unexpected. I drive all the way from lake forest park just for their coffee. Sad to say that I have had enough gambling of their coffee is going to be a hit or miss. It used to be very consistent and really great but nowadays I see a lot of new people and you will never know until you take the first sip. It's a matter of giving them 5 star vs 2 stars. When it's good, it's absolutely amazing and when it's bad, it makes you regret you paid that much and drove all the way for this coffee. Advise to management - please be consistent with how your employees make the drinks and employee schedules because I know which barista makes the best one and can come when she's around. Woods Coffee is a PNW coffee chain that offers scratch bakery items as well as a food menu. We came to Woods while in the area to get some caffeine fix. We ordered: +a Caramel Macchiato +Mocha +Salted Caramel Cold Brew Unfortunately, the drinks were extremely weak and tasted diluted; we had requested the macchiato and the mocha to be extra hot, but they were lukewarm, at best. This is my second time coming to the coffee shop. I loved the interior as it feels like you're in a cabin with the fireplace and wooden furniture. The first time I visited, my family and I ordered sweet Frappuccino types of drinks. They were very sweet, which served purpose for our sweet tooth. This time, I tried my luck with the healthier options, and I was not disappointed! Mango smoothie was sweet enough and refreshing. The blueberry and spinach smoothie was less sweet and tasted healthy. It lacked a bit of flavor but still satisfied my smoothie cravings. Service was fast and friendly. Everything that Panera Bread did wrong, Woods Coffee did right. My first Woods Coffee experience did not disappoint. It feels like a much, much better version of Starbucks. It has a lot more food options and just the right amount of drink variety. With that said, the sweetness level on these drinks by default also feel like they're on the same level as Starbucks. A coffee spot originating from Bellingham I believe? Or at least more popular near WWU, Woods Coffee has some pretty good coffee, is a decent spot to do work, and generally has convenient locations. Interior here is spacious and there are outlets at every single table which is crazy. I wanted to try something special here so I opted for the Avalanche drink. Avalanche - like a stronger coffee brother of a caramel frappe, the Avalanche is a creamy, somewhat nutty dessert that packs a punch. Strong caramel, super sweet, and gives a buzz to wake you up, I think it hits all the marks for a coffee dessert. Might be a bit too sweet for typical coffee. There'll be a caffeine and sugar rush along with a crash later. read more

I recently came here for work and decided to grab a drink before I left. It was my first time here and saw they had a promo sign for their "Raspberry Mint Mojito". It was so hot, for Seattle, that day so that sounded delicious. I got a 16oz and I wish i got whatever their biggest size is because it was SO good! It wasn't too sweet, it was so refreshing and it gave me the perfect pick-me-up- for the long day ahead of me. One of the best scones (lemon blueberry) I've ever had! It had the perfect dense but slightly crumbly texture and balance between dry and moist. It was packed with whole blueberries and the crystallized sugar and lemon zest on top really elevated each bite. Can't wait to try their other baked goods since a scone is one of the hardest to master IMHO. The white mocha latte was great, but a bit too sweet for me so I'll be trying a different drink next time. :) read more

What a really quaint and clean and comfortable coffee shop! I actually learned about this brand of coffee via Instagram, one of the influencers I follow tends to have this coffee in her hand a lot of the time. So, I decided to try them out, vanilla chai latte extra extra hot. So I can't really place a review on a ton of the food or drinks they have, but I can say that they got my order correct. And that it tasted good. I got a small, and I just don't think that I can justify the five dollar and something bill for such a small cup! I can get just as good coffee via Starbucks for less. I do follow them on social media as well, unfortunately a lot of the stuff in store does not look as good as some of the pictures they post. Also, the staff was "just okay" for some reason one of them laughed at me while I was ordering, I'm not what that was about? Overall the atmosphere is the best part of this place, the drinks are probably all delicious, but just a little bit overpriced. I also noticed that a lot of people on Facebook had a few complaints about the spot? So I'm not really sure what to make of it yet. This is my honest review so far. read more

I had noticed Woods Coffee after driving past a few times while up in the 220th and Hwy 99 area of Edmonds. I decided to stop in on 5/12/20 as a "coffee break" from WFH/telecommuting. Clearly I'm late to the local indie connection...they originated in Lynden up north in Whatcom County (locations also in Blaine, Ferndale) and despite my frequency visiting Bellingham, I wasn't aware of this group. They are also in Skagit County (Burlington, Mt. Vernon) before expanding south to King County (Bellevue) and in Snohomish County (Bothell, Edmonds). This latter location had only been open for 2.5 months and then the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions happened. The Edmonds site is pretty vast, the interior kind of reminded me of REI - Pacific NWish. Note that they also have a drive through window in addition to the interior seating. The baristas / counter staff were very pleasant. My mocha was very tasty - temperature just right, nice balance of the coffee, steamed milk and chocolate. Thankfully not cloyingly sweet. I am always championing indies to come to Shoreline. We have several Starbucks and only a handful of indies in North Seattle and Shoreline. Dutch Bros corporate said they had no plans of expanding here. But hey, maybe Woods Coffee would consider a location, hint hint. read more

So glad they opened up here in Edmonds! I love the outdoorsy cabin vibes here. Nice, clean interior. There's a good selection of coffee, tea and specialty drinks with fresh breakfast items made daily. There's plenty of tables and seats with lots of outlets available. The coffee is smooth, the sandwiches are made fresh daily and the service is brisk and cheery. I stopped in the physical store as there was a pretty big line at the drive through. I'm glad I went in, it's very nicely decorated inside and there was no line. There is plenty of space and different seating arrangements for groups and solo guests and I was in and out of there pretty quick. The prices are a little high- I'd say comparable to a Starbucks, but the ingredients seem to be of better quality. I love a good coffee shop and this one is truly wonderful in every way. The coffee is quality, the baristas are SO friendly + helpful and the inside seating is so peaceful and exactly what you would want from a sit down coffee experience. They have a warm fireplace with cushy large seats that make you want to melt and stay there forever. The price of the menu items is pretty standard so no need to worry about breaking the bank for your morning cup. I love the sweetness of the chai but my husband thought it was too sweet for him so definitely make sure you know what you like when you order. Finally got into here to try the coffee. Loved the decor, so PNW styled! Loved the homey feel. While the service was slow the folks assisting us were friendly answering all my questions happily!! Oh soooo good. I stopped in around 930am on a Tuesday. Everything was absolutely great. Wonderful 20oz quad mocha, blueberry loaf. Staff is friendly, polite. What I notice the most that makes Woods Coffee stand out over the rest beside flavor, is that it is quite, relaxing and warm, nice decore with lots of seating. So use to starbucks being noisy, staff talking very loud etc. I have found my new coffee house. This location has a fire place also and the friendliest staff.
