Great visit to this beautiful new cafe in south Davis. Service was very kind and you can tell everyone was working hard and efficient. Loved the outdoor patio, especially this time of year. My latte was made with care and I love the coffee flavor from this roaster. Beautiful selection of pastries - special treat! Excited to come for lunch next time.

Iced Matcha Latte

Paid a gallon and a half worth of gas for this drink, just for it to be filled with 80% ice. Kinda regret not making my own matcha latte at home this morning.

Look at this pick up area! And the clean store!

This has always been one of the best run Starbucks around. It's not the closest to my home, but, quite frankly, the mace blvd store has become ridiculously awful. I try to come here when I'm on this side of town. The store has always been immaculate. I really appreciate that. Service is fantastic. They greet you when you walk in the door. That means a lot to me. Drinks come out quickly. What more can you ask for? Well, let me tell you. These guys have the most amazing mobile order pick up set-up ever. As in anywhere! One thing that is a constant frustration at the Mace store is being able to get someone's attention to pick up your mobile order. Here, they are all in easy view, right within reach, and you can just pick up your order and leave. But you know what? They still greet you. And that is flippin amazing. Five star management! Five star service! Five star cleanliness! Thank you.

Pretty standard Starbucks Food is fine but I've definitely received cold brew here that tasted like iced coffee, so bitter / burnt They're also really inconsistent in the morning. The app will say they're open and allow you to order pick up and then you get there and the doors are locked. Fine if you have time and there's no line at the drive thru but it's meant I've wasted time having to get in line when I thought I'd just walk up and pick up my order ‍ Also at the moment the dining room is blocked off so you have to eat in your car or outside. You also can't shop their tumblers

Cheerful baristas. Quick drive through. Extended parking lot nearby. Delicious drinks. Indoor and outdoor seating readily available. My go-to Starbucks in Davis!

Everyone studying!! What if I yell and distract them?? Haha!! Just fooling around!!!

Negative: Crowded with students so hard to find a seat. small parking lot Positive: next to Davisville Express where you can get a cup of coffee while waiting to get your car serviced. Domino's pizza and Subway next door. Drinks are decent and service is ok

This particular location has consistently friendly employees, both in the store and the drive thru (yes, there is a drive thru!). For that, they deserve all the stars. They're friendly and chipper! I love being served by employees who have great camaraderie and love what they're doing. There is limited parking in the lot, and it's technically forbidden to park next door at Burger King or in the parking lot of the medical offices across the street. Lots of seating! Tall tables, short tables, a comfy bench with tables and some plush chairs. If it's not finals week, seating is even more plentiful. There is a gated patio out front with umbrellas. Now that it's summer, I highly recommend one of their cold brew coffees with cold foam. The salted caramel cold foam is delicious! The foam itself is sweet, creamy, and surprisingly fluffy-looking. It melts slightly into the smooth brew below, and it's very picturesque. It's a great ice-cold drink to beat the summer heat! If you're looking for a pastry, I recommend the lemon loaf. It's moist, thick, and the sweet tang of the icing is a lovely pairing with the lemony flavor of the cake. It seems like you get great quantity and quality with this pastry. Plus, lemon is a refreshing summer flavor!

It is only appropriate that my 100th review is on a Starbucks location...and my favorite one at that! I was first introduced to this location during my freshman year at UCD. My friends and I came often since it is spacious and quiet. They have ample outlets, privacy, and comfortable seating. Their drinks and service are also consistently good here. They have a private lot for parking, and even a drive thru if you're in a hurry! My favorite drinks are the Peach Green Tea Lemonade and the Caramel Brulee Latte. Too bad both are seasonal drinks! I'm a bit sad I didn't frequent this location much after freshman year, since it is a bit out-of-the-way. Will definitely miss it! Side note: I've been here for the past 2 hours and I'm not freezing cold! It's nice that the temperature in here is moderate.

Follow the directions.

Slow as hell and completely unorganized. 20 minute wait past time for the order to be ready and it still wasn't had to get a refund. Stupid.

I won't go into the reasons why, but I wound up forgetting to order my coffee decaffeinated. I wound up ordering a Mexican mocha with almond milk and light whip. I also ordered a veggie scone. Both the barista and the person working the counter were friendly and nice. I LOVED the Mexican mocha. It wasn't too sweet (which I was worried about), didn't need sugar, but was delicious. It had a nice mix of the robust coffee flavor and the richness of the Mexican chocolate. The scone was good. I liked the mix of veggies and cheese. I think it would have been better if it were heated. This cafe is somewhat small. While there is a good amount of seating, it gets pretty packed in here. I'd say my biggest con of this cafe if you're drinking your coffee there are the seats and the lack of electrical outlets to charge your computer. The bar stools are pretty uncomfortable. I really could only sit the stool for about an hour. Since the stools didn't have a backrest, I started getting sore. I'd definitely get coffee here again.

So ofc when I was in town, I had to try it. This "Molly Tea" is not the same as the Bay Area's (no store listed in Davis on the official Molly Tea website) and is also known as "jasmine tea house" on Google Maps which confused me. Walking in there was a very unpleasant smell, almost like bleach/chlorine mixed with jasmine tea fragrance. (Not great!) We sat outside. However the drinks were not bad. Not as "presentable" as the authentic Molly Tea (no fancy straw or seal), but the osmanthus oolong milk tea was on par taste wise. Overall, it's a good "knock off molly tea" and satisfied our boba craving. It's good enough for Davis but def lacks the polish of real Molly Tea's.
