To the girl who made my drink this morning... you need that raise girl. Drink came out SO good. Literally god sent. I'm so pick with my coffee especially at other locations because they really make the drink undrinkable. Also thank you to the girl on register for giving me a pup cup. Support Peet's instead of their sister company Starbucks. Better coffee and flavoring.

Great coffee and nice outside seating! Order ahead and your coffee will be ready when you are.

Not this stores fault and it's a very sad day. RIP Pride of the Port loose tea being served Peet's Coffee shops. As a life long tea drinker this was the best tea available in any coffee shop that I could find. Now one can only get their bagged tea which tastes like jus de chaussette (sock juice) to me.

Sunday order, this place smells like heaven. Service is amazing, all the crew is smiling and seems to have fun. Drinks come out hot (or cold if you ordered it that way) and fast. Pastries are fresh so 100% satisfied!

I love Peet's Coffee! And today is a perfect example as to why. Greeted by a great big smile from Jake at the cash register. Such a nice guy. Makes eye contact and even though it is busy...talks to you like you are a real person :-). As a matter of fact, Jake and the other two Baristas were just so friendly, patient and pleasant. Bennett helping Jake out with all the peeps... and there was a line! And Joe working the machines! There are two Peet's coffee shops in Davis. This one in the marketplace at the west end of Davis. And the one in downtown Davis. To me there is a big difference between the two locations. This one is clean and has a nice patio and all the Baristas seem to be happy :-). For some reason the downtown location just seems dirty and dark to me. With a lot of weird people :-). And always so crazy busy which makes sense because it is downtown. Anyway this is just a short and sweet review and a shout out to the three guys rocking it today at the marketplace Peet's! People notice when Baristas are special and you guys are special! Thank you for that! Ps... The lattes are why I come ... LOL... love them wayyyy more than Starbucks!!!

We arrived early to my son's lacrosse game against the Davis Blue Devils so we found Peet's nearby at the Marketplace to grab a drink. It was rather quiet inside and service was okay. No smiles. The workers were just chatting amongst themselves as I placed my order for an iced white chocolate mocha. Before we left, I asked if there was a restroom I could use. Apparently they do not offer one for their customers. They suggested I walk over to Safeway or Petco to use their bathrooms.

Iced Havana Cappucino, most definitely recommended! Check in to get $1 off!

Right on the corner as you enter the shopping plaza, it's hard to miss this Peet's location. Plus, the festive pig statues out front also catch your eye. If it's a lovely day outside, take advantage of the plentiful outdoor seating. Otherwise, hope there's a space inside, which is unlikely as finals approach! The whole area feels more spacious when Noah's bagels is open. Parking is pretty much guaranteed since it's such a large lot to accommodate all the shops. As today was a very cold day and also the beginning of December, I went with one of their holiday specials: the dark chocolate orange mocha. The chocolate flavor was rich and dark, but not too dark, with just the faintest hint of orange - I wish there had been more. The whipped cream on top was thick and creamy. I'd recommend ordering your drink in one of their "for here," real mugs if you're going to sit for a bit. Holiday drinks are listed on the far right of the menu wall, near where you pick up your drinks, which makes it really hard to find. Options include pumpkin spice, peppermint mocha, eggnog, and a holiday spice latte. I was helped by two very nice baristas who gave me plenty of time to decide what I wanted to order. They have milk substitutions, for those interested in non-dairy options. Overall, Peet's makes great, dependable coffee drinks, with a few distinct drink options that are different from Starbucks (for example, drinks with coconut or orange flavor), but this location is hit or miss as far as seating and the lack of a public restroom is unfortunate.

Sweet location- same building/dining room as Noah's Bagels. Good dependable coffee.

Sorry, looked to good NOT to drink before the picture.

The staff was very friendly, the coffee was great, and the croissant was delicious. The atmosphere is also really nice. Since it's located on a university campus, there are a lot of busy students around, but it doesn't take away from the experience at all, you can still relax and enjoy your coffee and food. Make sure to leave a tip at places like this, the service is excellent, and even something small like 50 cents is appreciated. Thanks, Temple Roasted Coffee!

I won't go into the reasons why, but I wound up forgetting to order my coffee decaffeinated. I wound up ordering a Mexican mocha with almond milk and light whip. I also ordered a veggie scone. Both the barista and the person working the counter were friendly and nice. I LOVED the Mexican mocha. It wasn't too sweet (which I was worried about), didn't need sugar, but was delicious. It had a nice mix of the robust coffee flavor and the richness of the Mexican chocolate. The scone was good. I liked the mix of veggies and cheese. I think it would have been better if it were heated. This cafe is somewhat small. While there is a good amount of seating, it gets pretty packed in here. I'd say my biggest con of this cafe if you're drinking your coffee there are the seats and the lack of electrical outlets to charge your computer. The bar stools are pretty uncomfortable. I really could only sit the stool for about an hour. Since the stools didn't have a backrest, I started getting sore. I'd definitely get coffee here again.

I'm excited to come back and try their other drinks (although the hojicha was so good I also need it again)! And it's such a convenient location - right by UCD campus.

When I went on a rainy and windy Saturday afternoon there were tons of college students studying and it was quiet inside and pretty much all the seats were filled. Their menu had normal coffee drinks and lattes such as Americano, cappuccino, mocha, jasmine and earl grey tea. They also had unique drinks such as miso caramel latte, pandan latte, matcha pandan latte, matcha and hojicha. In addition, they had a spring seasonal menu and their current specials were a mango matcha drink and passion fruit espresso drink with tonic water. I ordered the hojicha latte with oat milk with light sweetener and light ice. They had options of whole milk, almond, or oat milk for milk. The cashier told me light ice meant there was going to be more oat milk. It was $5.80 which is cheaper than most cafes for hojicha however the quality wasn't as great as other cafes I've been to. The hojicha latte lacked flavor and tasted oily and didn't have the nutty flavor I'm used to but I still finished it. They usually have two bathrooms and they only had one available and sometimes you had to wait in a line for 20 min since there was so many people in the cafe which is inconvenient. Hopefully, they have the other bathroom fixed soon. Overall, it's a nice cafe with nice ambiance and some unique drink selections but I was not satisfied with the hojicha latte as there was no flavor. At least the prices are lower than other cafes. Maybe another drink would have been better.

I like that their drinks seem to be more about the quality of the tea versus having a ton of different flavor options. They open at a time I think is somewhat late in the day on weekdays (12pm), and there tends to be a least a few people waiting to get in by the time noon rolls around. Order at the kiosk. I've been getting the Cape Jasmine with Coconut Cream whenever I'm here (but do plan to try something new next time). The coconut cream really adds a lot to the drink, in my opinion, especially since I lowered the sweetness level. At Molly Jasmine, I do recommend keeping a higher sweetness level because otherwise the tea tends to taste a bit more bitter at first. The cream did blend into the drink to help balance out the taste, but as someone who tends to think drink / milk tea places tend to be overly sweet, you're drink likely won't be sweet enough if you reduce the sweetness at Molly Jasmine. It's a bright, open interior. Cutely decorated. Although, there's not a ton of seating. Great drink spot to check out.

So ofc when I was in town, I had to try it. This "Molly Tea" is not the same as the Bay Area's (no store listed in Davis on the official Molly Tea website) and is also known as "jasmine tea house" on Google Maps which confused me. Walking in there was a very unpleasant smell, almost like bleach/chlorine mixed with jasmine tea fragrance. (Not great!) We sat outside. However the drinks were not bad. Not as "presentable" as the authentic Molly Tea (no fancy straw or seal), but the osmanthus oolong milk tea was on par taste wise. Overall, it's a good "knock off molly tea" and satisfied our boba craving. It's good enough for Davis but def lacks the polish of real Molly Tea's.

The Cloudbreaker immediately met my taste buds with bitterness and then left my tongue completely numb for several minutes. Perhaps those sensations would have paid off if they were followed by a calming or THC-like effect, but I didn't experience any change in mental state. The comfortable atmosphere saves this establishment from 1 star. Dim lights, leather couches, chill music, and colorful tiki wall art make for a decent study spot or date night. However, if you're hanging out at a business, you gotta support it, and to support it, you gotta buy something -- I can't see myself buying anything kava-related with any ounce of enjoyment.
