While in Davis, we walked past Baskin-Robbins and I saw that they were advertising a Dubai Chocolate Ice Cream Bar. My family and I decided to stop in for dessert after having dinner. The inside was small, but had a couple of tables to sit at. We ordered the Jamocha Almond Fudge Shake, a cup with 1 scoop Cookies and Cream and 1 scoop of Chocolate Mousse Royale with Whipped Cream and Cherries and then also a Dubai Chocolate Ice Cream Bar. The Jamocha Almond Fudge Shake is always a winner and we were a big fan of the Chocolate Mousse Royale as it was super silky and smooth, but the Dubai Chocolate Ice Cream Bar was just okay - I enjoyed it, but I didn't taste very much pistachio or crunch. Staff was friendly, but also busy and just trying to get through the line of people. We'll be back next time we are in the area, but I will definitely be checking out different flavors to try! read more

Came in this week for a scoop of mint and chip ice cream. To my dismay, something about the recipe has changed. I dunno about you, but no "froyo" can compete with classic creamy, rich, and loaded ice cream scoops. Can you scoop your froyo? I don't think so. I love Baskin Robbins because unlike the other local creameries around, they give GENEROUS scoops. Two scoops is soo filling, you'll be fine with one. But the fact that they have so many available flavors just makes you have to get two. I only get their actual ice cream, the shakes, sundaes, and desserts are a little pricey and not worth it in my opinion.
