This location is convenient right off the 125 freeway heading east. Entrance is hidden towards the back. Super easy to place your mobile order as you exit and a quick pit stop to get your coffee fix. Inside is nice and clean. They have some seating outside which is nice. Staff is friendly. Our orders are typically ready when we arrive. Consistently yummy. You have to park here. This is my local Starbucks and service over the years has been up and down. I have to say the last couple of months the service from the team has been spot on. They always say thank you and if they see me at the counter getting extra things they always ask do I need anything or can they help. The drinks are consistent and my food has been hot. I usually get a Venti Skinny Vanilla Latte and some egg bites. Although I miss the kale and mushroom egg bites. I hope they come back. read more

"The only Starbucks worth visiting because it so....je ne sais quoi." Okay, I must admit it is difficult to provide a review for franchise chain such as Starbucks, because each will have their own personality. Moreover, for every Starbucks location, the loyal patrons tend to be bias for personal reasons whether it depends upon; customer service, cleanliness, location, and the preparation for the products. So, with that being said, this particular store takes the cake in my personal point of view. When I began working for my current employer in 2013, I would come here often and order their various flavors of hot coffee, e.g. medium roast, dark roast, etc. and I must say the customer service has never tailed off. However, around 2017, I stopped visiting this location and other Starbucks' stores in general only because my taste buds had grown weary of the coffee flavors. Flash forward to 2020, when I began to work remotely, I decided to give Starbucks another go-around, and the experiences on each visit at this location are always worth the squeeze. First of all, the customer service is consistently incredible and fantastic. The staff is professional, warm, attentive, diplomatic and organized. I've never encountered an aggressive employee nor had any quarrels. So, I must tip my hat off to the management team for running a tight ship. Secondly, the location is terrific and cannot be any better! I love how this store is nestled in the cozy, serene neighborhood at a not-too-busy shopping center in San Miguel Ranch. Its almost as if it is a hidden speakeasy because the size of the store inside is impeccable. Some Starbucks are just too large for their own good and, it can feel like you're at a former warehouse that was converted into a local brewery. In addition, the location is elevated on a hill that provides a fabulous view overlooking San Diego. Their outside patio receives major bonus points as well and is definitely worth visiting on weekends during the Spring and Summer seasons. Because of this, the local customers whom frequently visit on a continuous basis, add an indescribable element that creates a trustworthy atmosphere. Now, I am boring guy, and I tend to order strictly coffee, yet, when I am feeling saucy I do try to break the monotony. But, shoot, I need that hot java to wake my azz up in the early mornings! In other words, if I had to make a few suggestions for drinks to try if you have not already, my other personal choices include; Iced Green Tea Latte with half & half [an excellent choice of drink for St.Patrick's Day], Honey Citrus Mint Tea (Hot) [If you have a flu/cold, take this, eat some Pho and your body system is good to go!], Iced Vanilla Latte with two pumps of sugar-free vanilla syrup and Almond Milk, Iced Royal English Breakfast Tea latte with two pumps of sweetener instead of four [the flavor in this one is out-of-this-world], London Fog Tea Latte, Iced Brown Sugar oat-milk espresso [this drink will make you feel like break-dancing...shoot], and for seasonal drinks, my preference is the Irish Cream Cold Brew. Pertaining to the food items; the oatmeal hits the spot, their bacon & sausage wraps are really fulfilling, the Crispy Grilled Cheese on Sourdough, and I never had an egg bite or knew what they were until recent trying them...and, they are impressive! My only suggestion is that the corporation resurrects the spicy chorizo breakfast sandwich. My first and only time trying one was when I was visiting Cincinnati, Ohio in 2018. Cincinnati, Ohio?? Lol. I never took the time to search if the item was discontinued/closed-out or perhaps is not served in California? Ahhh the ubiquitous Starbucks...just like any other town, any other mall you got your Starbucks, your 7-11's, your Targets and Walmarts. No matter which location I go to, the coffee's always good! If it's not made to your liking or if there was an error, they have been happy to remake it. I lean toward the Nitro cold brews and the blonde lattes. I prefer my bean juice with no sugar and a splash of half & half. Although, when I have enough stars to use for a free item, I splurge and go for the Venti Frappuccino and put 4 extra shots of espresso in that baby. Make it count! Normally this would cost around $9. The kids love the Pink Drink, the creme frappucinos, and the breakfast sandwiches, but man, it can get pricey. They have a pretty good loyalty program you can access the old school way with a card, or through their app. Honestly, if they didn't have so many promos for bonus stars for me to use for purchases, I probably would only come here once a month. My Americano,I order with oat milk tastes delicious and the espresso beans are flavorful and never burnt. I also love getting my iced tea with lemonade, which is always refreshing. Adorable modest Starbucks with an amazing view. Stunning outside patio sitting area. This particular Starbucks offer a tranquil relaxed environment. I sit outside and enjoy my latte for hours. Not very big inside but the staff keeps it really clean, stocked and organized. Very kid friendly location. The ladies and gentlemen here are amazing baristas. They are incredibly efficient, prompt, friendly and accurate with the orders. Outstanding job! My son really likes Starbucks grilled sandwiches and when we got there, we got two sandwiches and gave them to the barista who told us "our ovens are off because it's almost time to close". I always place mobile orders from this specific Starbucks and the drinks are always perfect regardless of what drink! One day I came in and a male (I'm guessing the manager?) Was SCREAMING at staff and told them "I TOLD YOU NOT TO MAKE THIS DRINK!!". He screamed so aggressively loud that it was audible even over the sound of the blenders. This particluar Starbucks coffee shop is really about the outside patio area. From this location on a clear day, one can see an awesome view of all San Diego has to offer. I was here last Saturday morning with my wife and we enjoyed the warm sun beaming on our backs as we drank our coffee while taking in such an awesome view. The last couple of times I have come to this Starbucks I haven't had the best experience. It's frustrating to go to a coffee shop and not be able to order a decaf coffee. When I tried to order a simple decaf iced coffee it was as if I was speaking another language and they couldn't comprehend my order. It was such an issue to brew decaf and throw it over ice for me. Then today, I went to the restroom and there was NO toilet paper and when I informed the barista that they were out of toilet paper she told me I can use the restroom with the out of service sign on it that was filled with tons of chairs. If you ask me, if a business is out of toilet paper it should be a top priority to put new rolls in the restroom. Instead the barista responded with "I don't have any new rolls, use the other restroom" as stated before that had an out of order sign on it. Just poor customer service and I understand it's busy at times but they need to understand priorities and no toilet paper should be one of them. Probably won't be coming to this Starbucks anytime soon. read more
