The staff seemed really rushed and busy, which I understand, but unfortunately my drink wasn't blended well at all. It was full of chunks and definitely not what I expected from a smoothie. Let me be the first to say that i don't think Jamba Juice is all that special but they are consistent. I think that's very rare with these large chains. This location is very clean and well kept. I like that they have an outdoor patio area. Large parking lot so no issues finding a spot. This place also has a drive through option. The staff seems to rotate a lot. Not sure if I recognize any of these team members since my last visit but it has been awhile for me. read more

My husband and I love this place since it's one of the few Jambas with a drive-thru! This is located in the same plaza as the McDonald's and Home Goods. We picked up some smoothies yesterday evening through the drive-thru. I ordered a Pink Star with a Daily Vitamin boost and my husband got a Strawberry Surfrider; our usuals. Ordering was easy and there were a few cars in front of us after, but the wait wasn't too long. I ordered a medium, but they ended up making me a large, so that was a nice bonus! The smoothies were delicious and refreshing. Whenever we're down in the Otay area we prefer this location since it's more convenient with the drive-thru. I'm not sure why there are complaints about the wait as we usually don't have issues when we go, so I'm going to guess it depends on if you're there during peak hours; typically lunch rush. read more

It pains me to leave this review, but today we went through the drive thru. This is the second time that it has taken more than 35 minutes to get three drinks with only two cars ahead of us. I tend to be a patient person, but I think the problem is when you get to the window and it takes 5 minutes to be acknowledged. Was doing an afternoon jog and decided to stop bye and get something healthy and something to give me a little extra energy. Saw the Jamba Juice in this shopping area and decided to try it out. Once arriving there is an abundance of parking since it's in a shopping center plus it has a drive thru so that's a plus. This location is fairly new so it's pretty clean and everything inside is new. The menu is direct and has various options that the employees are happy to help with. I asked for something sweet and healthy. The employee recommended the Apple n Greens. It has Kale and various fruits that brings a lot of flavor. Plus I added vitamins and extra energy to get me through the day. They also have 10% discount for military so utilize that if you have a chance. Will definitely be coming here again. The smoothie offered a great combination of flavors such as cold brew coffee, cinnamon, chia seeds, honey, almond milk, and a nonfat frozen yogurt. The smoothie was not only light and perfect for a warm day, but flavorful too. I was very pleased that I could taste the honey, almond milk, and cinnamon with a subtle flavor of that horchata rice flavor. The staff members were all up beat and friendly. I only had a bad drink once or twice but that's about it so far. I always get the peanut butter mood with carrot juice instead of milk and it's pretty bomb! I've typically have had good service at this location, but yesterday I ordered a large Aloha Pineapple and it almost tasted like it was expired, I couldn't even take another sip without almost throwing up. I was very disappointed. I was on my way to work and unable to turn around to get a new one made. So I called and it went to voicemail. I left a message and explained what happened and left my phone number in hopes there would be a callback to resolve this issue. I didn't even get to drink or enjoy my drink. A full day went by and I was never called back. I was in the store today with the gentleman who mentions that, in his opinion, this location discriminated against people with disabilities. I can't say if there was intentional discrimination going on, but it's very true that people who ordered after he ordered received their orders before him, myself included. What I noticed was a staff that seemed friendly enough but was disorganized and very, very slow. According to my receipt, I ordered at 1:48 pm. I checked my watch when I got it and it was 2:02 pm. 14 minutes to make one medium smoothie (no special order or fancy requests) is not going to cut it. Maybe they're focusing on the drive through? The smoothie was good, the location was clean, and the staff seemed pleasant, but I've got no reason to go back when I can get the same thing, at equal or better quality, in a quarter of the time three minutes away. read more
