On the times I go here, they're always mobile orders, and I've never ordered anything inside. Minus one star since I'm not familiar with direct contact during ordering, cleanliness of the restrooms, and overall operation of the location. On instances when I've picked up my order and hung out inside, the only thing I've noticed is that the long table can be sticky or have a bit of mess, but I don't expect anyone to come by and do a wipedown. I'm not sure if that's a company procedure to do a sweep of the floors and wipe the tables. The drinks and food are just right for my liking, and I've never had issues with delays when I pick up my order. This place is good enough for me for a quick pickup! read more

This Starbucks is definitely hit or miss, but when it hits... it hits. I usually order through the app because the deals are great and I love cashing in my stars for freebies and they always have great deals at certain times of the week. Most of the baristas are friendly, some not as much, but I'm really just popping in to grab my mobile order anyway. It's super close to my job, so the convenience is a big plus. The experience was awful. I ordered what I always get, and the cashier acted like they had no idea what I meant and was rude about it instead of helping. Every employee I interacted with was grouchy. I even asked for the bathroom code and was rudely given a code with attitude. Thank goodness I don't live in the area and this isn't my local Starbucks. Super disappointing. read more

I came in here to order my hot chai tea latte grande with a warm chocolate croissant. The chai tea and croissant were very delicious and flavorful. I enjoyed my experience at this location. The couple times I've been here, the service has been fast and friendly! That's exactly how I want my coffee! :) I'm not in this area much, but it's easy to find, right off H street. There's currently lots of street work going on in this area, so it looks a mess and the street entrance looks like it's blocked off, but it's not. Decent amount of parking, I've had no problems getting a parking spot here which is really nice. It's part of a larger strip mall and Starbucks is nestled in between a couple of other small businesses. It's one of the smaller locations that I've been to, you walk in and your standing in line. Each time I've been here, there was a few people in line, but service is fairly fast. Use your mobile app and save yourself some time if you don't want to wait for coffee! Love it!!! I am usually a fan of Starbucks locations, but this one in particular left me a little unsatisfied. I stopped by to pick up a peppermint mocha grande for a heaping $4.55. First of all, the service here was very indifferent. No smiles from the employees, and they appeared to have the attitude, that they did not want to be there. Perhaps it was just a long day for them, but still. To make matters worse, when I went to the restroom to wash up before picking up my mocha, the restroom was a mess. For those of you wondering why the low stars: You've never gotten you coffee and tested once you were on the freeway to find that it is warm not hot. This has happened 3 times to me here. We have also been to the pickup counter on several occasions, asked for our online order and been told it was ready. Stood around and watched customers come and go for 5 to 10 minutes and re-approached the counter and told "Oh yah. It's right here." Where it seems it had been "Right here" for a while (X4). Yesterday was the last time this will happen. We asked for our order and tried to tell the barista there were 3 items. She turned to us and said in a snotty voice, "I'm looking for them!" Turned back and said in the same manner, "They aren't ready yet." Of course we stood and waited only to find they were ready. They also quit carrying Equal and can't explain why. read more

His customer service goes getting and stays call in the midst of the HS day care that this location deals with in the morning and after school. One star... Do not go to this location at 740/815am or 2:45/4pm. It is a nightmare of rude HS students that are not well mannered and don't move out of the way. I hate this whole shopping area as parents used it as a pick up location and stop wherever they want to. Kids walking in back of your car or right in front of your car and give you a nasty look if you try to move. It's is a shit show! But... Back to Charles! Went here a few times, this location has no drive-thru. In the morning it's busy, people come in to get there morning 'hit' and linger on the small sidewalk 'slash' patio. I recently have been visiting this Starbucks location because they expanded the location however the staff there is not very friendly or accommodating the bathrooms are not well maintained very dirty garbage is overflowing floor is dirty.i don't understand why they have a large staff. I brought a everything bagel from Ralph's because in the past they were always out of the everything bagel . So I asked one of the barista's can you please toast it for me and then after he toasted he said to me I can't be doing this anymore I dad why he just repeated it I said other Starbucks never have a issue accommodating me. He said go for it Who ever is the area manager they need to train them on customer service. The barista that said this to me he's always been kind of short and not very friendly he wears big earrings in his ears like fake diamonds. I'm very friendly with them and I tip them well and I expect them to be reciprocal.. I most likely will not go to this location in the future I will find most likely find an alternative location that has better customer service. read more

I've been coming to this Starbucks for years but this morning was my last straw. I was late 10 minutes to work and all I ordered was a tall dark roast. That's it. The girl in charge of the drip was too busy with hot foods or distracted by something funny instead of getting to my order. There should be one person on hot food and one on the drip so orders can be processed. Some of us are trying to get to work on time. Very infuriating. I'm a total Starbucks addict and I've probably been to every single Starbucks in San Diego. I go to this one the most since it's the closest one to my house. I do try to avoid it when the schools get out because it ends up being FULL of kids and high schoolers. This one gets 5 stars because they always welcome me when I walk in and the baristas already know my drink! Great customer service! All Starbucks make the same drinks and they're going to mess up every now and then (I mean cmon, they make HUNDREDS of drinks a day) so the way they handle the situation when they mess up my drink determines whether or not they get a good review.
