I usually get the Thai milk tea or the mango cream slush and they are both delicious every time. I usually order online and just pick it up, but they also have kiosks and the cashier inside if you want to order there. Most of the time my order is ready by the pickup time, but there have been a few times where they hadn't started it yet and I had to wait a bit. Overall, the staff is really friendly and welcoming whenever I visit. I definitely prefer this location over the Convoy one, and it's been my go to boba spot since 2023!

This is nice when someone like me who loves any and all milktea's and matcha goes with someone who dislikes all forms of tea but enjoys tapioca pearls and tasty drinks. The original amount of tapioca they give you (which is included in the price of the drink may I add) is the perfect amount but I am greedy and payed for a second scoop and it was so worth it. The actual flavors of the Thai tea and Taro and Hibiscus hit the marks. No modifications needed, the drinks came out perfectly. The worker welcomed us with a big smile, a great attitude and althought she was doing a couple orders at the same time she got our drinks our quickly and seamlessly. Give 'em a try!

Great place for a boba and snack. I've been going here for years- since 2020. This place is one of…read morethe most consistent boba shops in SD. They always serve the same quantity and softness of boba. Their service is always amazing too. They greet you as you enter and leave, and are friendly. Because it's quite cramped inside the shop, I don't expect to stay for long. However, the boba is my main priority, so I don't mind for the seating.

They also waited while I looked at their giant menu to figure out what I want. And not giant in a bad way, giant in a many options way. I had questions and the woman who took my order was so kind to me and patient when I had questions. I also put my phone number and got a discount so definitely sign up for their rewards program! There was plenty of seating inside and outside so we grabbed a booth and made myself comfortable until my order was ready. The inside was decorated very cute with lights. We ordered a Thai and Taro blended milk tea, a Tiger Tea with boba, an order of Cheese Curds and the Brick Toast with Honey Butter. The Thai and Taro blended milk tea was so good! It had such a balanced flavor! The Tiger tea with Boba was very earthy and subtle flavor but still so good! The Cheese Curds were freshly battered with a golden fry on it that really showed how clean their oil is! And the Brick Toast with Honey Butter was such a soft bouncy bread that would pair beautifully with a morning coffee. Over all the entire menu is something I want to keep exploring and I definitely recommend SD Boba Tea!

One glance at top coffee spots in the area and we were sold on Malvia! We called an Uber to take us over. Once dropped off on Avenida Revolución we read in other reviews that the shop can be a challenge to find - but we are a persistent bunch and figured it out. Here are simple directions to locate it: find the gastropub La Justina on Revolucion and walk down the stairs to the left of it. Then proceed forward until you see the unmistakably unique and cute decor of Malvia on the left. There are several tables outside then the coffee bar space at the store front. All the drinks looked delightful and it was a tough decision to select just one drink. A friend opted for an iced drink with coconut and espresso, I chose the "Dorado" which featured turmeric. It was sumptuous and refreshing - with a gold appearance from the turmeric. The espresso was tasty and there was just the right amount of sweetness. Super refreshing and highly recommended. Service was kind and prices are super reasonable. The sitting area was unique too - there's other neat stores in the area and the temperature was nice since we were underground. Overall, Malvia was excellent and definitely worth checking out. Thanks for the memorable experience!

The first few times I had come to grab a coffee, Malvia was either closed or I was just unable to find them. If you are using Google Maps my best advice is to get to the corner of Madero and Third and enter one of several doors which will lead you into a large market style space. Malvia is about a shoe-boxed sized cafe in Zona Centro. There are several tables in the front with seating for probably around twenty. On the afternoon of a June day I visited and ordered an iced latte. It was 45 pesos and probably around twenty ounces. It was very delicious and I was happy to sip on it while I walked to Gastro Telefonica. Malvia definitely fits into to the Tijuana craft coffee scene and I highly recommend you stop by to try out a caffeinated drink.
